Draco's POV
Draco woke up in the morning, and looked around the dormitory. Most of his roommates had woken up, all but Blaise and himself. He rubbed his eyes and looked at the alarm clock. They had missed breakfast, and their first lesson was in 5 minutes. He grasped the alarm clock and threw it at Blaise hitting him in the chest. Blaise woke up with a gasp and looked at Draco with a loathing look. Even though sometimes they annoyed each other, they were still considered as best friends, and were always together.

Draco stood up from the sofa in the common room and with a flick of his wand turned off the fireplace. The room suddenly turned cold, but since he was the only person left there, no one was there to complain. He walked out of the room and slowly walked up the staircase and reached the entrance to Hogwarts. He slid through the doors which were open so that people could easily get to lessons. He walked out into the hot summer air and frowned at the sun hitting him in the face. He walked along the side of the castle in the direction of the greenhouses, and noticed a blonde girl, that he had seen in a few lessons before, walking about in circles and strange shapes. Therefore it wasn't his fault that she suddenly walked into him. As she looked up at him, he noticed that her eyes were big and blue, which he quite liked. The girl was also from Ravenclaw, which was approved by the fact that she was holding a book in her hand. He smiled lightly.
-Sorry, I was just...reading- He heard her say, in a dreamy and distant voice.
He looked around to see if anybody was around, seeing him talk to a girl from Ravenclaw could result in his popularity decreasing, but after all, everyone would still love him anyway. He smiled lightly.
-It's okay, I wasn't watching where I was going either.- He looked closely at the girl. She was wearing a light pink top and a short green skirt. Around her neck he noticed a necklace, made from nothing other than Butterbeer corks. He smiled and this and ripped his eyes from her, so that it didn't look, by any chance, that he was checking her out.
-So what you reading there?- He nodded to her book, which had a light brown cover, and strange letters on the pages.
