MLP FiM: Lost in New York(?) Interest Chk

So my idea is that a group of ponies are abducted by a powerful corporation called Global Trust through the use of brand new portal technology in an attempt to learn about them to farther their own agenda by giving themselves access to magic and weather control among other things. However, their attempts to bring the ponies through backfires and they end up teleporting them to the middle New York City instead of their research lab. In desperation, Global Trust will hire mercenaries to go out and find the ponies, and either bring them back or neutralize them.

Now, if New York doesn't appeal to you guys then we could move it to somewhere else, even rural or suburban areas.

So we are playing a bunch of four feet tall, magical, pastel colored ponies stuck in New York City? That is an insane enough idea that it might just be fun, I am in. But what generation of MLP are we talking about. I have allot of G1 on DVD and is rather familiar with that setting but I have not seen allot of the other cartoons.

Hm the most I know about is from G4, but I suppose G1 would fit in as well. Global Trust may have tried different universes ponies were found in for more results.

What if Dream Valley still exists in the Equestrian world, just in a strange region where humans evolved with ponies and Pegasi don't control the weather.

And, Hi. Also, I have to wonder what Rarity would think if she saw humans wearing clothes.

I would say that Dream Valley resides in ruins within the Everfree forest...but the official map got rid of that idea :T
One fanfic I read said that all the stuff that happened in Dream Valley was an old myth for the Ponies in Equestria though it is real in another universe.
