Sue's Roadie Diner {OOC}

Someone that makes me wanna see 'em again. Interestin' people, stoppin' by for some grub, on some adventure. The kinds o' people I never see again. Once they walk out, they're gone. That's the sad thing abou' workin' in a roadside diner. Once they're gone, they're gone."

Storyline;
In Sue's Roadie Diner, people can get a cheap meal on the road, no questions asked. But that's the sad thing for waitress, Mary-Lynne, because sometimes she'd like to ask questions. She wants to know about some of these interesting people.

This roleplay is based in a classic 50s diner on the road in a place called Krowich, where people will stop in for something to eat during their travels. If the roleplay lasts long enough - and hopefully it will - then it may move on to another setting.

I'm in need of a Co-GM I can trust to keep the roleplay moving even when I'm not here.

History: Bella was born in Carmel, CA, to the married couple Marie and Louis Riddlesmith. When they divorced, Marie moved to LA with her 2 year old daughter. Bella was raised there and has moved around a lot since then. She hasn't seen her father for years, and doesn't plan to any time soon.
Extra: Bella did acid and mushrooms for a long time, and still does them quite a bit.

When she was married to Howard Lester at 23, her parents were delighted. They had tried to have a baby for a long time, but it seemed they couldn't. That's when her husband fell ill. He was sick for months before he passed away, Mary-Lynne was devastated, and hasn't been in a relationship since.
Extra: She's very interested in other people's business, so watch out.

Rules:

-Goes without saying, no godmodding. Don't make the characters of others do anything without their permission. If someone is gone for a long while, and they need to be moved to carry on the roleplay, then I will move them, or they can give permission to someone else to control their character.
-Posting rules are as follows, when the roleplay starts, wait for everyone's introductions to be up or wait for me to say you can post again. Then you have to wait for two people to post before you post again. I'll be lenient with this rule, but I don't want it seeming like a 1x1.
-Swearing, drugs and sex will be included in this roleplay, but because of RPG rules, keep it PG-13 in thread and take it to pms.
-If you feel like you're being outcasted in the IC, try and socialise. If it's in the OOC, just try and get more involved in conversations. Be friendly
-Don't have arguments in the OOC, no one wants them, so take your conflict somewhere else and solve it, or I'll kick someone out, simple.
-Don't break the rules, a magical rock will land on your character/s and you'll be kicked out.

History: When she was 13 her dad introduced her to motorcycles and showed her how to fix one and taught her all the parts. Her dad owns the local mechanics shop and let's her work there. She has been since 16, when she got her own motorcycle for her birthday. Her mother is very mean and selfish.
They rarely speak to eachother. They despise eachother. That's why she is so close to her father.
She grew up in New Jersey and has an accent. But she knows how to hide it well.
Extra: She smokes sometimes, and drinks even if she is underage.

History: Samantha was born in a area called the devils triangle. Her mother was heavy into drugs, sex, and anything that could make her forget how horrible their lives were and became neglectful of her small daughter. When she was 6 Sam was kidnapped by a cult that wanted to use her as a sacrifice. Sam escaped but witnessed some unspeakable horrors, only one of which was the other 12 children she had grown up with be butchered one after another. After fleeing the devils triangle she ran to the city where she was placed in the system. Her foster parents loved her but couldn't control the emotionally scars and trauma the young Sam had faced. Not knowing what else to do they placed her in a mental institution for young and troubled youth. Sam spent a large portion of her life with a young woman known simply as "Seer" although everyone thought Seer was crazy Sam having seen some un-explainable things at the hand of the cult believed her. Seer would always tell Sam "They think they've locked me here when it was I who chose this path." When they were 17 Sam and Seer had to leave the asylum. Together the two of them traveled around gathering knowledge about the world and making friends in various fairs. When Sam was 20 Seer who was prone to visions kept driving them from area to area without explaining why. They would never stay in any place for more then 3 days. One day Sam got really ill and they had to stay in a abandoned building for 4 days Seer just kept saying "Its ok Sammy I will protect you" That very night Seer was killed by an attacker who had invaded their space. It turns out he had been a member of the cult of Sam's youth. Sam killed him in rage for the death of Seer and her friends from childhood. As Seer laid dying she told Sam a secret and gave her a new nickname: Bones. Ever since she has been drifting, wandering, and hitchhiking.

Extra: Sam has a variety of skills but she never lets on. People always are drawn to her but she feels as though her heart has been shattered without Seer. Instead she lets out her feelings and longing for friendship in her intricate and beautiful pieces of jewelry she creates.[/QUOTE]

Reason for Being at the Diner: He wanders into the diner, trying to get away from it all.

History: Papa and Mama Foster always believed in their wonderful baby boy. Perhaps they believed a bit too much. The two kept putting Ignatius in these schools for gifted youngsters. Ignatius would drop out just a few weeks after the start of the semester. Sometimes it was because he just failed his subjects that quickly. Most of the time, the school forced him to drop out for immoral conduct. And each time he would drop out, Papa and Mama Foster's love for their child would slowly lessen.

He found his passion in writing.In the middle of all his parents's shit, Ignatius would find himself in his room, a notebook resting on his lap and a pen in his hand. It was here he shined the most.

His parents of course caught wind of this soon enough. They started taking advantage of his talent, forcing him to join all of these contests. Forcing him to write things he didn't want to write. They even used their pull as owners of a small town newspaper to get him into the writing staffs of different publications. Ignatius didn't like this one bit. He came to hate it. Writing.

Soon enough, people started hating it too. As he lost his passion for writing, his talent seemed to disappear as well. Junk, his parents would call it. He joined the club not too long after. His favorite was uninspired drivel. Had a nice ring to it.

When the time came, Foster Daily was passed down to Baby Ignatius. He assumed the position of Editor-in-Chief, and his staff hated him for it. After all, who could respect a shitty writer for an editor?

Under Ignatius, Foster Daily entered a new low. Nobody was buying, writers were jumping ship, and the newspaper ended up as uninspired drivel.

He decides to leave the office one day. No one asks why or when he's coming back.
