Known as Joseph. The walker has had many names trough out the ages. He was Jonathan Pilgrim once, and before that, Joel von Trebben and earlier still he was simply John Kingston. His exact origin is unknon even to himself, he has only foggy memories of his past. Bits and pieces of being a farmer, and coming across something bigger. He does however, remember a lot of his travels.
To his clear recollection, it was 1600's and england was at war just like most of Europe was. John Kingston was the name he went by, travelling merchant with only his undying part of his powers. He was a weapons merchant, and made his fortune in camps across europe aswell as in castles amongs Barons and Baronesses. A bt to popular perhaps. His youth a blessing and curse both. It was during one such visit, he discovered his other power, teleportation. During a nightly visit to one of the Baronesses, he was nearlly discovered by the womans husband. In a fit of panic, he “wished” he was on the other side of the open window. As luck had it, he teleported. Sitting on the other side, something dawned on him. He was so much better then regular humans. He was something more.
As time passed, he moved from country to counry, training always, making sure he knew his goods aswell. He began to practice his teleportion powers as well, increasing the reach of his power. All the while, his disdain with humanity grew, seeing how petty they were. He moved from England to France and from there smuggled weapons to protestants and Catholics alike during the 30 years war, growing rich in the process. Now nearly 60 years old, he looked not a day over 30, something he kept hidden by never staying long and never being a figure to hog the spotlight. Last thing he wanted as a witch hunt. He kept moving, kept sellling and never stopped training. He became a master duelist, always competing dressed in red with a red mask. He became known as the The Walker and the Crimson Merchant. A wealthy and terribly dangerous man who seemed to participate in every major war at the time.
His next major change came during the 1800's. The French revolution had hit its very peak of violance and he remerged a passionate freedom fighter. But then, during the storming of castle, he just snapped. In a fit of unspeakable malice, his heart a lump of coal without any sense of humanity or decency. He cut the head of crying noble woman. When his revolutionary comrades cheered him however, he turned around and began to massacre them as well. Laughing as he used his teleportation powers to shock and terrify them, it was a slaughter. It was during this massacre, he found that he could access a whole different dimension, one he promptly used to store all the weapons he had stashed away at home. He realized, that his powers were growing but that he could not allow himself to become stationary. And so, the legacy of the The Walker, drenched in blood and forever youthful started to take a turn for the worse.
After his little Incident Josepth, then Remy, moved to the Netherlands, taking the Guise of nobleman Joel von Trebben. He joined the wave of settlers heading for the promised land. The promised land being the Americas, a an of abition. He poured plenty of gold nto the settlement while remaining largely unseen. When the battles with the natvies started to take place, he used it to stage his death. The result was a increased divide between settlers and Natives, leading to more bloodshed. He returned in the meanwhile to his merchant ways and began to Wander. He also began to pursue buyng up land from impovrished Settlers at high prices, then using said land to bait both sides into more bloodshed.
During the end of the 1800th century, he began to become a known presence amongst the Native Americans. They called him the Walking Nightmare, as he at that point could show up at a settlement and kill a dozen men before moving on with their weapons. During the Wild West, John Pilgrim was born. It was the name he took on as he join ed the gold rush and other typical events that would define that period in history. He was there when the railroads were built, he was there when America split into two warring sides. Pilgrim became a legend, a mercyless killer who searched out both Southern and Northern officers and killed them in a number of ways.

He joined the Baron at numerous occasions, lending his dealdy skills in combat and assassination.
