Kaya sat there peacefully, when she heard the rustling she was sure at first that it was her father. That is until the vines started shooting from the ground, Kaya jumped up from the ground, trying to make a run for it until a vine sprang up from the ground, wrapping around her ankle and causing her to trip. As Kaya fell she reached out with her arms, catching her fall with her knee before she went down head first. Kaya quickly turned, pulling out her dagger and cutting the vine around her ankle. "What the fuck," she thought aloud, her eyes coming up as a creature appeared. This was something she had never encountered during all of her years of hunting. She had heard of them but had never had the chance to see them with her own eyes until now when she had no guns. Kaya silently counted her weapons, two daggers and two crucifixes. Fuck!
Kaya looked around at the surrounding creatures, not sure if they were vampires, deformed humans or somehow both. "Look I don't want any trouble dammit," she said, moving slowly as she got up, her dagger still in her hand. Kaya was hoping they would let her go without a fight. She wasn't a bad fighter but they had numbers on their side, Kaya wouldn't go anywhere with them without a fight though.
