Name: Nora
Species: Gardevoir
Gender: Female
Bio:
A seemingly owner-less Gardevoir, as this species and it's earlier forms aren't native to Crescent Island. Far from wild, she can often be seen interacting with the villagers on a daily basis, and it isn't uncommon to find her playing with the children every once in a while.
Only some of the older people living on the island remember how this pokemon got here; When [Faction] just arose, Gardevoir and her elderly master appeared on the island in a shipwreck on day. The trainer was apalled by the faction's ruthless methods of acquiring pokémon and degrading them back into animals, and as such, he had fled from the civilized world with the help of nothing but a boat. Despite getting away from the authorities, not everything went as intended, and they shipwrecked onto Crescent island's beaches.
Her trainer passed away a few years later, happy that he had found a place for his Gardevoir to live without being hunted. As such, he set her free to roam the island, though it seems like she has become more of a friend to the small island community than someone waiting to pounce on helpless young trainers in the grass. She occasionally does this, however, though never to the point of beating.
Description:
She wears a small locker around her neck, which seems to be her only true possession. It looks worthless and has no real material value, but she can be seen grasping and feeling at it quite a lot, revealing that it must be worth a lot to her. Inside is a picture of her and her trainer in better times, back when she was just a Ralts.
Personality:
True to her appearance, Nora is graceful, patient and kind, and this kindness extends itself even to people she has never met, making her quite an easy target for [Faction]. Around most male trainers, she appears meek, almost shy, and when with female ones Nora will do everything in her power to stand in the spotlight instead of her. She becomes excited and passionate easily, though she isn't the type of person to take risks.
Skills:
Like many Gardevoir, Nora has the power to see the future, though it visibly tires her out when it is used too much. She can also use this to avoid attacks which would otherwise be fatal, and it appears like her trainer hadn't been slacking off when he traversed Hoenn with her. She prefers not to fight, instead teleporting away when danger comes.
If actually forced into combat, Nora relies on psychic trickery and attacks on both the trainer and their pokemon's minds, sometimes making it appear as if she isn't moving at all, keeping true to her elegant stature, while this is in fact all an illusion.
Being a fully evolved pokemon, she's quite tough to catch, so if you want to have a try, be prepared to have a good fight on your hands!
