I've added another section to the world information titled "Countries and Clans" it currently only contains info on the Varesk. And lastly does anyone here have a preference of starting the story in Zar or Zyunar?

Let me know what I, undoubtedly, need to change….

    Name: Xicaphor

    Age: 32

    Gender: Female

Appearance: She has pallid skin, the color of a corpse and she is physically cold to the touch. Her eyes are glazed over with pools of crimson, they lack pupils, and are almond shaped beneath high arched eyebrows. In another life, she would, perhaps, be viewed as beautiful. Her fine bone structure and long thick, dark red hair trails down her back like a bloody waterfall. But whatever beauty she may have had at one point is always overlooked by her obscene ways. Her hair is in a tangle mass around her face, she dresses in rags all the time, her arms and legs are long and lanky, and the woman is very thin. She doesn’t walk often, mostly crawls everywhere, slithering through the muck of the streets in the world she was cursed to live. Her fingers are red, stained from years of being submerged in blood. She has fangs like a snake that can lengthen and become longer if the time arises. The woman also has a forked tongue due to her diluted blood and ancestry.

Heritage: She was born in Imiga, but her heritage stems from a foreign ancestry that branched off form the race of the Guivre, a serpentine race that interpopulated throughout history and is now randomly traced down many generations later. Xicaphor had qualities of this old race through her fantastic eyesight in the dark along with her sharpened canines and forked tongue. Her father was a shaman and her mother was a witch, and the child they produced was Xicaphor, a prophetess.

Ranking: Begger in the streets of the capitol area of Asha’da

Allegiance: To Prince Desein. He was born singly and alone, unlike the twins before him who have never been accounted for. He deserves the throne.

Personality: Completely deranged. She lurks in the shadows and shies away from the light, coming out only at night. But despite her predicament, Xicaphor is cunning, intelligent, trapped in the mastery of her own advanced mind, and she speaks in riddles and rhymes most of the time. She has a gift of foresight, yet is shunned from the temples due to her cursed state of everlasting insanity and madness. She doesn’t mind people, but doesn’t seek them out either.

Biography: She went crazed after trying to leave a secret cult known as The Blood Bathers, but was cursed to lose her mind after she threatened to tell everyone all that went on in the sinister walls of the catacombs that the cult lived in. That occurred at the young age of 22, and ever since then she was wandered the streets, selling profound fortunes for pennies just to get by, rumors of the female’s prophesying words travel throughout the city but most shrug them off as wild stories and soon forget them.

Skills: She has the gift of foresight, the ability to prophesy, and the uncanny skill of translating dreams. She is well known for what she does, and everything she says has indeed come true down to the last detail.

Weaknesses: Physical strength, the woman is weak due to malnutrition. She is also insane, lacking the ability to make sound decisions unless she is asked a question. She mostly mumbles but when a future scene transcribes across her mind she speaks in a deep, sonfident, clear and raspy voice. Her eyes are also extremely sensitive to light so she tries to avoid the sun altogether.

Equipment: Xicaphor has worn the same cloths for years. They are thin bits of cloth that hang off her body with large gaping holes and stains from injuries in the past. She also wears a thick collar around her neck that has chaffed the skin raw. This is further punishment from the Cult she left, the band of metal has symbolic meaning, displaying to everyone who looks upon her that they are a slave to their own fate. They can do nothing to avoid what destiny has planned. Xicaphor has grown eerily attached to the metal collar, the band long ago stained from the blood under it as if gradually tore away at her flesh

Other: Despite her appearance and animalistic, the woman is harmless. She has never hurt anyone in her life and has simply been forever cursed to the live she knows. The woman does, however, live in the gutter, and is often seen crawling through the cobblestone streets with the dead half of a dead rat in her lips. She would be extremely valuable if she was ever to be found by the right people.

    Name: Thalos LiMeraxes
    Age: 24
    Gender: Male
    Appearance:
Thalos has a tan complexion, but is noticeably more pale than most people that dwell in desert lands. He has mid length well groomed black hair, and dark violet colored iris'. Thalos stands a little taller than six foot and possesses a slim(almost scrawny) build. That is not to say that he isn't muscular. Though he has yet to participate in actual battle, he's been well trained physically from birth.

Heritage: Thalos was born of pure royal blood in Val' Espa.
A military state located in the far south east(relative to Asha'da). Val' Espa is a desert land, with it's capitol and surrounding villages concentrated around the 5 oasis' that can be found there. For countless generations it has been ruled by The King of Flames and the royal family, the Fireborn, believed to be the descendents of dragons.

Val' Espa is centralized on its military, and operates on a caste system:

Espar- Active soldiers and their families. The Espar enjoy full rights as citizens in Val' Espa. They pay taxes, are paid salaries, and both men and women are required to undergo education and military training.

Betha- Free men and their families(mostly freed slaves and descendents of freed slaves) that are not granted citizenship rights. They mainly work as care-takers, Inn keepers, groundskeepers, and merchants or messengers that are free to travel back and forth from Val' Espa and the other kingdoms. They are required to pay taxes, but are not given any kind of payment from the royal family.

Val' Aurok- Slaves and non-native people of Val' Espa. They are freely bought and traded laborers for the Espar. They mainly hunt and gather food, clean homes, and serve their masters in many other ways. They are only given what their masters bid them worthy of having.

Val' Espa is most famed for their partnership with, and worship of, the native dragons of their heated desert home. It was once a grand empire that spanned the entire southern landscape of Ashbiet, but receeded back into Val' Espa when the Fireborn mysteriously lost their ability to command dragons into battle. Some suggest that the Fireborn ancestors broke an ancient contract they had formed with the winged beasts, other scholars suggest that the dragons lost their intelligence over the years and reverted back to a wild and beastly nature. Whatever the reason, it remains a complete mystery, or perhaps a well guarded secret kept by the Fireborn.

Despite the Fireborn being unable to control them, the dragons of Val' Espa coexist peacefully (for the most part) with it's people. They keep to themselves in their mountain nests, but have been known to attack the armies of other kingdoms that would dare cross Val' Espa's borders. Whipping up sandstorms with their wings and razing entire platoons to smoldering ash. Still, they haven't travelled outside of the desert since the time of the Empire. An Esparian dragon hasn't been seen outside of the kingdom in over 400 years.

Natives of Val' Espa are generally of a tanned complexion due to the harsh sunlight of their desert dwelling. They are of various heights, though most men stand around six foot, with the women reaching as high as 5'6". They possess darker colored hair (black and brown), with lighter eye colors (green and blue). However, those of the royal family almost always have dark shades of either purple or yellow iris'. This is called "the mark of the dragon", thought to be the proof that the Fireborn somehow share a blood relation to the native dragons of Val' Espa.

Esparian royalty are given one of three honorary titles attached to their surnames after being examined by a shaman at birth. These honoraries signify what type of role they fit in ruling the country. The three are:

Li- Assinged to be bred for battle and military leaders. These Fireborn are trained from birth on military strategy and prowess in physical combat.

Se- Assigned to fulfill governing positions and handle domestic matters dealing with the Esparian people and the kingdom's lands.

T'- Assigned to the nation's spiritual concerns. Often refered to as Dragon Shaman, these Fireborn direct ceremonies and rituals honoring the mighty beast brethren of their homeland. They are also trained to examine both Fireborn and Espar children when born to deem them strong and worthy of life, or weak and sentence them to be offered as sacrifice to the dragons.

In the days of the Esparian Empire, there was a fourth honorary title given, Drasi. These were the Fireborn destined to learn the arts of taming and commanding dragons. Though no one among the royal family has been given the title since Val' Espa's last Emperor came to pass.

    Ranking: Sovereign Prince/Mercenary

    Allegiance: Neautral, for now

Personality: Thalos is a product of the combination of his upbringing and exile in Val' Espa. He is fair and polite, so long as his company returns the same courtesy. He firmly believes that respect and honor is neither given or earned, but it is taken. One must be willing to crush their enemies and be prepared to be crushed themselves to claim their place in the world.

He is the strong and silent type, a strategical thinker, prefering to outwit a situation or disarm an enemy than charge and let his emotions control him.

Biography: Thalos was born to Magnier LiMeraxes the Flame King and one of his four brides, Hael SeVeric. Sovereign Prince of Val' Espa and third in line for the throne. He lived more comfortably, but as with any other Fireborn, his life was dominated by duty. Every day since his birth he was trained in the tactics, strategies, and history of warfare. As well as rigorous lessons in sword and axe handling.

Shortly after his 23rd birthday, three cloaked assassins of unknown origin made an attempt on the King's life. Magnier managed to fend them off and wound one before they made an escape, but was also wounded himself in the battle. The palace of DragonHall was scoured for the assassins or any clues of their whereabouts that may have been left behind by them. Conveniently, an unmarked letter was found in Thalos' bedchamber. He was brought before the throne and the Se lead council. Of course Hael fiercly defended him, but a majority of the council voted for his execution as a traitor.

Magnier was no fool, he knew that there was a sufficient lack of evidence to prove Thalos guilty. Being third in line to succeed him, Thalos also had little to gain from the King's early death. However, Magnier was also in a complex position, he did not want to appear weak willed or sentimental to the council, and if he were to keep Thalos within the kingdom there was the possibility of another attempt on his life while whoever it was continued to frame Thalos. Not excluding the possibility that Thalos himself would be murdered. As a compromising punishment, Magnier decided that Thalos would be exiled from Val' Espa and stripped of his title as well as his claim to the throne.

Upon his departure from the capital of High Espar, Thalos was joined by his best friend Yor and a dozen of soldiers that remained loyal to his name. All of which gladly volunteered their own exile. He and his company are now wandering swords for hire. A few noble lords he has worked for have offered him a place in their court and armies, but he has not considered any of them worthy. He still searches for a way to reclaim his lost honor, though he is not sure how. He and his company are now drawn towards the conflict in Asha'da. Perhaps the lands there had a ruler worthy of his service, if not it would at least be a worthy venture to try and find work.

    Important Relations:
He is the son of Magnier LiMeraxes the King of Flames, and is related in some way to every other royalty in Val' Espar. Though, he is exiled.

Though Val' Espa is a mostly secluded country, Thalos has either met or is aware of almost every person of royalty and foreign dignity in Ashbiet.

    Skills:
    (I'll just bullet point these)
    -Swordsmanship
    -Archery
-Vast knowledge of warfare including both history and strategy
-Affinity for dragons (meaning only that he has a greater chance of surviving an encounter with one)
-Natural resistance to high heat temperatures

    Weaknesses:
-Does not do well in weather considered extremely cold and easily falls ill if exposed to it too long.

-Thalos is easily deceived by women, as well as easily enraged when one is hurt or in danger. Basically, he leaps at any chance to be chivalrous.

    -Inexperienced in actual combat.

Equipment: Thalos mostly tends to command his own troops from atop an armored horse in a fight, occasionaly shooting key targets with a shortbow and quiver of arrows. He does possess a steel curved shortsword and a large circular iron shield (standard Esparian army issue).

His armor is mostly composed of hard leather, all except his breastplate and helmet. Both ancient Meraxes keepsakes his mother had stolen from the family armory after his exile, and both made of steel made black from being forged in dragons fire. Other than the black color, there is nothing unusual looking about the breastplate. The helmet, however, is shaped in the likeness of a dragon's skull.

But before I tell you to absolute be rid of them I would like to hear a little more; how long can they grow? How well is her control over them?

It wasn't the first time a member of the Fireborn had been killed or injured with no proof or witness as to who commited the act. It was a game among the royalty as old as time, an attempt by one or a group of the Fireborn to clear opposition and bump themselves up the list of heirs to the throne.

Furious, Thalos sought audience with Magnier, and angrily berrated him for not protecting his mother or doing anything to try and uncover the culprit. The King of Flames was dismissive, responding to Thalos' outrage by preaching unwavering faith and support of the old ways: Only the strongest and most daring are fit to rule the kingdom. He reminded him of their creed, "Blood will strenghten, Blood will abide. Fire to conquer, Fire to bind."

Thalos' rage burned deeper at his own father's disinterest in the murdering and disfigurement of his family. He threw a fit and renounced his claim to the throne in front of his father and everyone seated around the throneroom of DragonHall. He cursed the King of Flames and the very nation of Val' Espa itself to be torn apart and drowned by the fire which it so loved and valued more than life. If this was truly a nation that would see cowardly kinslayers and dishonorable snakes as strong leaders, then he would no more be a part of it. This threw the King into an uproar. He exiled the foolhardy prince from Val' Espa, never to rule and never to return. He and his sister with him had been disowned.
I know where you are getting this and cannot accept this much of a copy.

They are more simply of a natural reaction due to her race. Like a snake that grows its fangs when about to attack. The adrenaline starts to pump with her anger or fear of danger and they simply grow, only about an inch or so. That was my idea anyway.

    How serpentine are the Guivre?
My original idea was to have them being based on the actual mythical creature known as the Guivre which, I believe, were actual snakes or dragon-like. Your bestiary tab made me think that was "OK" as long as I didnt push it too far

    Name: Lord Calmin Altet
    Age: 53 Zars
    Gender: Male

    Appearance:

    Heritage: Asha’dian through and through
Ranking: Nobleman and one of the commanding officers in the Tashir army.
Allegiance: Lord Altet will see Prince Saralt, the true heir, on the throne.

Personality: Fanatical and skilled, Lord Calmin Altet is a devoted servant of Prince Saralt. He is brave enough to be respected by his men, but he has a ruthless streak that seems to scare them as well. A man of little humor, save for the black comedy that seems to spring from the horrors of war. Altet is not a good diplomat, but he’s useful if you need to intimidate a foreign power.

Biography: Born the son of a minor noble, Calmin Altet was trained as a knight for most of his life. While he was fair enough with the sword, it was military strategy where he found his home. He enlisted during the war with the Borgias and rose swiftly through the ranks. Altet was praised by King Sevhalt and his commanders for being ‘efficient’, which often meant the slaughter of innocents in order to bring hiding Borgia soldiers out into combat.

Immediately after the conquest of the Borgias, a group sprung up in one of the towns proclaiming freedom from their conqueror. Altet was dispatched by King Sevhalt in order to end it. When Altet arrived with his soldiers, he gave the terms of surrender. The Borgias were to turn over their leaders to be executed, or all would face death.

When no leaders were presented, Altet burnt down the village, killed the inhabitants, and left with his men.

After the death of King Sevhalt, Altet watched Queen Emilira very carefully (even more so than he had before, considering she was a Borgia). The only thing stopping the two of them from coming to a head was their love for Prince Saralt, Emilira’s child and Altet’s future king.

When Emilira married King Daravid, Altet openly opposed the union. He went rogue and refused to ‘bend his knee to either foreign bastard’. He, and ‘loyal Asha’dians’ fled the capitol and defeated any soldiers dispatched by Daravid to bring them back for the king’s justice.

After the birth of Prince Desein and the death of Daravid, Altet was pardoned of all crimes and returned to the capitol. There, he bent knee to Prince Saralt and swore to see the boy upon the throne. It was rumored that his pardon had been granted after he helped Queen Emilira escape and helped orchestrate the death of King Daravid. But, such are rumors.

Now, with proper Asha’dian blood to follow, Altet is a noble again. He has been given charge of a number of men in order to end the Borgia resistance. Who knows, in the future he may even be required to make sure Prince Desein doesn’t take the throne of Asha’dia.

    Skills:
*Skilled tactician-Altet has spent his life devoted to warfare. He is perhaps one of the best commanders in Asha’dian
*Experienced Warrior-Actual combat has taught Altet that sometimes, chivalry isn’t what you need on the battlefield.
*Anointed Knight-Trained in the ways of combat, Altet can ride, read, and wield a sword.

    Weaknesses:
*Getting old-Oh sure he can cut up a few runts or newly anointed knights, but Altet is getting old, and can’t swing a sword as well as he used to.
*Hated-Due to his ruthless tactics and actions against the Borgias, people, even fellow Asha’dians don’t exactly love Altet.
*Nationalist-Foreigners are expendable allies at best, heretics at worst. Asha’dians are the only ones that deserve anything more than slavery.

Equipment: Altet, like any good knight or noble, has a set of armor and a warhorse for battle. Along with a sword with a hilt designed for a one or two handed grip, and a shield.

    Name: Spadus Oxa
    Age: 17
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Spadus, if he had been born of noble blood, would presently be a fresh-faced young thing who looks like he's never worked a day in his life. However, he was not born into noble blood, however noble you may consider a family of smiths to be. Spadus's father was a smith, and so Spadus too would be a smith. He is a smith, and so he looks like one. If you were to use a single word to encapsulate the whole of Spadus's physical aspects, the word would be "leathery". Every part of him, from his limp black hair to his flat dull gray eyes to his skin itself looks as aged and worn as the cover of a well-handled book. He isn't gaunt, per se, but if he were to get any thinner, "gaunt" would be an adequate description. Muscle is there, but not in profusion. His thin face is marked with the faded splotch of a burn long since healed, a kind of grisly badge of honor of his training. His clothes are plain but well-made: a simple off-white tunic, brown ankle-length breeches, and leather shoes.

Heritage: Born to a family of mildly prestigious smiths in what remains of the Borgias' territory
    Ranking: Civilian/Foot soldier
Allegiance: Though the Borgias are not too concerned(as far as Spadus can tell) with who takes the throne next and are more concerned about defending themselves against said throne, Spadus himself is hoping that Alsarod or Desein will come through. Anyone's better than the son of the man who so savagely attacked his people.

Personality: Spadus is rational. He finds peace in rationality because it solves problems and gets things done. If he cannot change something, he sees no reason to fret over it. He's more enlightened than he is boring; his worldview is simply composed of plain pieces that fit together well. He speaks tersely but not reluctantly. His ideals are the result of rational study of his environment, not what his father or his commander told him.

Biography: A simple life of smithing with his father, his only remaining family in the wake of the Varesk massacre, was rudely interrupted by yet another Varesk invasion. The Borgia army was not exactly at its full strength for weathering this attack, and so Spadus and his father were both conscripted and put into different legions. Spadus, having never experienced a fight or any sort of change of this magnitude in his life, is now having difficulties adjusting to life as a warrior.

    Skills:
    -Smithing
    -Reasoning/mediating disputes

    Weaknesses:
-No combat experience beyond basic training
    -Slow to react

    Equipment:
    -Iron shortsword
    -Wooden shield
    -Mail shirt

Other: He's not as one-dimensional as he looks, I swear. Haha.

If you mean how often a dragon would attack outsiders, the answer would be not often. They would most likely attack armies or travelers that would pass through areas close to where they nest. It would take a person with knowledge of the land to direct a safe path to travel and keep distance from any dragon dwellings.

I know where you are getting this and cannot accept this much of a copy.
    fair enough, it's been edited.

I can only accept this part if his inexperience in battle will actually affect him.
His inexperience in actual combat will indefinitely effect him in any confrontation were he to be separated from his small group of soldiers. Elements such as "dirty/dishonorable fighting" and foreign or new techniques aren't something even years of practice battle could prepare him for.
