Worlds Collide

[Sonanoka]

Yukari: The Watasuki sisters from your moon have proposed a bet, with quite the high wager, and quite the high pay-off. Also, they seem to be trying to expose the moon and gensokyo to the world. Ohh, and I'm not sure if this is normal for them, but they blocked my attempt to prevent a broadcasting of a battle between a woman from the future and a swarm of drone ships from my own moon. She even turned a human into a lunar rabbit, who Ran ended up forcing us to kill, sadly. ...On that note, I will need to turn the body over to his fiance some time soon. As for the wager, it was peace in the case of my ousting of the second set of lunarians, while in the event of my loss I was to become their newest pet.

[Beginnings]

"Did you accept, or did you not reply to their wager?" Staring at them seriously, Yukari frowned. "It has been quite some time since I've dealt with them, and they must have some ace up their sleeve... Of course, Ran could have been that ace. Still, I am not one to commit cultural genocide just in order to please one person unless I have a damn good reason."

"I would hope not..." Shaking her head, Kikuri stared up at the ceiling, where the moons were. "I wouldn't think the prospect of having two moons when we never had enough to completely populate the one would be that appealing..."

[Sonanoka]

Yukari: I asked for a week to think on it, so as to get a second opinnion from you upon successfully freeing you. However, that human turned lunar rabbit was meant to watch me in that time, and so they may try and twist his death into some form of declaration of war, as he had technically become a citizen of the moon. I do believe that six days remain untill they try and contact me again.

[Beginnings]

"Then we must be ready for anything. However, she will know better than to try such a thing. Whatever he was transformed into, he is still a human. And they are still under my protection." Sighing, she held her head in her hands. "I do not wish to go through another fight, so soon."

[Sonanoka]

Yukari: Understandable.

[Beginnings]

Peeking an eye open, Yukari asked her copy, "So, why aren't you able to fight her off? Are you saying that the Lunarians are more powerful than you?"

[Sonanoka]

Yukari: Hardly. I have no want for needless blood-shed.

[Beginnings]

"Hrm. Then why are you so worried?"

[Sonanoka]

Yukari: You call it worried, while I call it cautious.

[Beginnings]

Frowning, the woman looked away for a moment. "It is not just that. You are worried about something. I am aware of what it means to be cautious, even if I perhaps should be more so in the future."
