Noticing that they didn't come from the direction of the concentration of lightning, Kanako begins to spread the energy throughout the entire mountaintop, calling down lightning wherever she may. "She's moving around! Guard your back if you can!"
*the personal barrier shatters, but no screams follow*
Kanako: ...I'm half expecting a repeat of befo- *takes a needle to both eyes* Gyaaa! *yanks both out* Okay, now I'm getting irritated! *eyes glow with energy, and her hands crackle with electricity* And now, young miko... you will die. *unleashes lightning from her finger tips in the direction of the needle throws*
Is that so~?

Miko: *just as Kanako says that, tries to stab them both in the back again, her holy signature flaring once more*
Is that so~?
And again, Kanako doesn't notice, but ends up only taking a glancing blow from the attack.

Kanako: *was ready this time, as electricity was being stored in her body a great deal* N-now you... die. *the barrier of the miko shatters at the heavy assault of electricity, and so Kanako spins around and begins to shock her with the lightning streaming from her hands*
Miko: *blasted back, and writhes on the ground a moment before vanishing again*
Is that so~?
"Welp... If I had kidneys, I think she would have just nailed me in mine." Sighing, Kanako leans against a nearby log. "Like trying to take out a damn tank with pebbles, aye? That girl won't bloody well go down."

Kanako: *hacks up a bit more blood, and spits it on the ground* Boy, how I wish I lacked internal organs... I think she... cut my liver in two that time.
Miko: *pelts them with needles*
Kanako: *makes a wall of onbashira in the way of them, and leans against it* I think I could get her if she tries a third time, but I'm going to say that I doubt I'll be able to stand after that. *spits out more blood* Any ideas on what to do beside risk your Sanae? I'd rather not risk myself for a maybe workable plan...
Is that so~?
"Best plan would be to get her low enough to the ground. That's why Suwako probably hasn't shown up again. She needs them to either be standing on the ground or not even a foot above it to successfully catch someone easily." Sighing, Kanako leans against the nearby wall. "However, Sanae will be able to use another miracle by now, should we need a shot. Not that we can exactly communicate at the moment."
The moment she says that, the leaves on both of their heads start buzzing. "Incorrect. I wired your headpieces to that one can communicate through them."

Kanako: Well now, isn't that convenient. You really are prepared for everything, huh? *chuckles, while lightning courses through the wounds in her gut, and they start to close* Any visual on the miko, Sanae? Or is she still using that blasted power?
Is that so~?
"Negative. I'm currently observing through three different spectra, and she is not appearing. Best guess at this point is that her power also magical conceals herself. Heavy-handed, but quite useful." The voice cuts off for a moment, before returning in a crackle of static. "There is some unnatural movement near your logs. Something attempts to be beating them down. Hard to determine if it is her, or the wind and rain."
