Vorn - Fetus
(I put a random town name in there, I can take it out if need be.)
Standing at a mere 5'4", maybe a bit short for his race, Ayrthell is physically frail and lightweight. Unlike in this picture, his hair is black, not blue. His eyes are, however, the color blue depicted in the picture as his hair. Myriad scars run across his body, though they are mostly accumulated on his back. He usually wears thin, dark leather under his wizard's attire, including gloves, boots, and a chest piece. His 'wizard's attire,' includes a long(almost floor length) midnight blue robe. The inside of the robe is host to a few pockets of different sizes, although all are much larger than they appear. A small mace is strapped on his back for when the need arises.
Ayrthell comes off as a warm, inviting person. He always seems to have a cheerful demeanor, albeit a bit distant. Although many consider him a weak person because of this, Ayrthell is really none of these things at all. He is, inside, quite cold and calculating, with a surprising intelligence despite his young age. Even so, his is often a subject to his own naivety and arrogance, overlooking small details and underestimating those he is against. His front is really just because he knows agreeing and 'liking' people without causing problems makes his life much easier as opposed to stating his mind(which is often cruel and incredibly insulting). He isn't necessarily a bad person, and he doesn't wish harm to others, he is just a victim of the narcissism that usually come with extensive practice of the magical arts. He also holds very little value towards sentient life in creatures other than elves, though he does well to hide this. The funny part about Ayrthell is that he admits to his hatred of humans; most people just don't believe him.
Neutral; can be either chaotic or lawful, depending on the situation.
Even though it is quite sad, Ayrthell does not have much of an original story. Born to a large family in a poor environ, Ayrthell had very little growing up. He wasn't raised in Kessad, as most of elves of this time are. He was born in Talvaria, in a small settlement that used elves as a work force. He was forced to excavate minerals from a mine since a young age. Despite this, him and his family were close. He did not grow up unloved, or beaten (at least, as long as he worked well enough). The elves kept a positive outlook; in a few short decades(for elves live for quite a long time), their population could possibly be high enough for a rebellion of sorts. Although, this was a difficult concept due to the elves lack of knowledge of the world around them. They were kept in ignorance.
When he was a teenager, and well into developing melee skills, Ayrthell was taken away from his family to serve as a part of the small city's militia. Having no choice in the matter, Ayrthell was put into the front lines of a desperate assault on a group of mages stationed not to far from the actual war site. Seeing a few elves amongst that group, Ayrthell refused to attack. His comrades, of course, went ahead with the charge (but not before knocking Ayrthell unconscious).
And were promptly slaughtered.
Ayrthell was discovered behind the line, bloodied and out cold. Because of this, the mages figured he was an innocent caught in the crossfire. The mages brought him back to their camp, and, because of his hometown's defeat, he was taken back into Kessad. Being young, and really having no reason not to trust the men who had taken him alive, Ayrthell told the mages of the elves treatment in the city. They had little desire to help, though, and this angered Ayrthell greatly. He left the mages immediately, and wandered for a while before coming to a near-by town. It was not just any human settlement, but an elven sect; Erronieliam. The elven city was more than willing to free the elves of Ayrthell's hometown; but he had absolutely no idea where it was, or what it was called. He had only a vague idea of the surrounding landscape. With no other option, Ayrthell stayed in Erronieliam.
While in the Elven city, he was granted admittance to their magical school of sorts, and was taught by some of the best (seeing as how elves have a knack for magic). He took to magic seamlessly, and has been improving ever since. He had taken to training exceptional well, which lead to the clan elder's suspicions that he may have some magic in his bloodline. As he matured(approximately 42 years of age), his natural elven wanderlust took hold, and he parted from what he know considers home, to see and learn things; maybe even settle some revenge fantasies.
-Ayrthell can use the mace he carries rather well, though it is the only weapon he can use efficiently.
-He can cast relatively quickly.
-Ayrthell is very well versed in the arcane, and therefore has a plethora of spells at his disposal.
Now, his magical abilities come from extensive study, though there is suspicion of him being a part of a magical bloodline. If anything should need to change, I can change them. Also, if it seems like I'm power-playing, just say so. :x
If they are in blue, he can cast them. If not, the spell is a more powerful form of the one he can cast. Ayrthell is also a fast learner, and is able to take to new magical easily.
He summons a small mist/cloud of poisonous gas.
He summons a swirling cloud of poisonous/acidic gasses that blinds and burns enemies.
Ayrthell can cast spells that transfer to his hands(i.e burning touch, freezing touch, shocking touch, acidic touch, paralyzing touch).
Ayrthell can summon a surge of elemental power (including but not limited to; lightning bolt, fireball, a swarm of icicles, hunk of rock.)
He summons a small storm (an area of 15 feet in diameter). It can either be a lightning storm, a blizzard, or a meteor shower.
Ayrthell can manipulate a person into seeing something. It can be whatever he wants it to be.
He can caste an illusion affected all of the senses. There will be inconsistencies, however.
He is able to manipulate all of the senses into a complete illusion of his own design. This does, however, require all of his focus and attention; he cannot do anything while manipulating a person like this.
Depending on the size/strength/magical ability of the creature, Ayrthell can summon beasts according to his ability.
Ayrthell can do many minor things with his magical ability, whether it be buffering allies or opening magical locks. Trivial things, including magical writing, warding(i.e alarms, or glyphs on the ground that hold spells, ect), dispelling magical effects, and many other things.
Cat's Grace / Bull's Strength

Create / Disable Magical Lock
Ayrthell can temporarily give a weapon slight magical power.
Ayrthell can understand and speak the language he is hearing.
He can place runes on the ground to different effect (i.e. explosive runes, alarming runes, paralyzing runes)
Analyze Magical Effect
Ayrthell can understand magic that is not cast by himself, to a degree.
A message is written to a person/party, but cannot be read by others.
Magic and mace fighting are the only combat abilities he has; when left weaponless and unable to cast, he will usually have to flee to survive.
None. Ayrthell finds religion to be for the weak minded.
Has he/she killed before?:
Yes, he has, as he has low regard for life that isn't of the elven race(or sub-race). He hasn't killed many, although he hadn't kept count because they do not weigh on his conscious.
