Derangdoc vs Gerontis

[Gerontis]

Zakuro eyes went wide open. He jumped back and rolled to the side. Several bullets of air were too close, to the taste of Zakuro, but he knew he had to keep moving, else he will be screwed. The flooding wasn't yet complet and Zakuro knew he must have to finish it, to gain some advantage back. He gritted his teeth and rolled back once more. He would just need to keep evading those attacks and find a chance to attack back. When he was forced to jump to his right, he quickily formed a few handseals and created a shadow clone. The real him went back, while his shadow clone tried to finish his Exploding Water Colliding Wave jutsu. The real Zakuro was growing sick of the attacks and was forming handseals while evading the bullets. Still, some of the bullets were close enough to slice few cuts in his arms and legs. Even one in at his right cheek. Zaruko felt desperate and felt the cuts, but couldn't do something about it, cause if he would stand still, he would be a dead man.

The bullets first collided with the forming wave as Gozoboro directed them toward the target. It would appear Zakuro was aware of the gravity of the situation and would wisely back away. The dodges were quite fascinating though Gozoboro would manage to get a few bullets to his the sides, not piercing the body, but delivering cuts to arms and his hips. And then he formed a clone destined to continue and eventually finish the technique. Gozoboro, before finishing his barrage, would have oriented the final bullets to the clone's body and head, causing the wave to be smaller than it was supposed to be.

"You're pretty good, I don't regret this, ya' know?" he'd compliment his opponent, now dashing on the water created by the enemy while he'd release a big of his breath on the Kunai he summoned just now. As the kunai gained the enhanced wind ability, he'd simply slash the blade diagonally downwards, facing the direction of Zakuro. The slash would release a Wind cutter that would target Zakuro's legs. In the meantime, he'd use his left hand to orient the shuriken downwards, closer to Gozoboro as he'd prepare it for another attack.

Zaruk heard the compliment, but didn't had to time to say something back. He jumped up to evade the next attack, wich was wind cutter directed to his legs. Zaruko grinned, now he had finished his last hand seal. When he came down, he slammed his right hand at the surface of the water.

Zaruko hoped would buy him some time to come up with a strategy against this deadly foe. Cause if this would continue, Zaruko would be screwed! He cursed himself, but was glad he had to battle against such a worthy foe, who both mighty and cunning. Even if he would have to face defeat, Zaruko would be honored and would tell others of the deadly foe had he fought...If he would survive.

Gozoboro grinned as he now saw a great opening. Zakuro used the air to dodge the technique, big mistake. El Niño would have already arrived in the field to plague Zakuro's plans. The area would suddenly feel much hotter and dry, but the water on the field wouldn't dry out due to the huge amount. When Zakuro jumped, his jump would be enhanced and thus he'd jump higher than normal, giving enough time for Gozoboro to proceed perfectly. When the man was in the air, Gozoboro would whip his left arm forward, controlling the shuriken in the air and causing it to shoot directly at the Zakuro in the air. The speed and situation would make this a fatal situation for Zakuro if he would try to land without doing anything at all. And even so, Gozoboro would easily use more wind cutters to put more intensity into Zakuro's position.

Zakuro made a shadow clone quick as he could. The shadow clone grabbed Zakuro and threw he down to the water. If Zakuro wanted to attack back, he would have to stand on the water to try to form some attacks backs. He was begining to feel desperate wanted to say that he was defeated, but something was holding Zakuro back. Was it pride? Or just some foolish idea that he could still turn the tide to his favor? Zakuro just hoped that he would get to reach the water surface fast enough and then could see a opening in the defence of his foe. If he wouldn't then Zakuro knew he would have to admit his defeat sooner then he wanted to..If he wanted to go home in one piece. Then again, he knew it was up to his foe if he would accept Zakuro's defeat and would let him live...But Zakuro dismissed those thoughts and tried to concentrate on the fight, since he didn't felt like giving up yet!

The enemy was fast, but the normal speed standards for a ninja in this situation wouldn't be all that effective. Indeed, Zakuro's position was very difficult to handle and the previous move was likely not the best one to take. A clone used to increase the speed of the fall was ingenuous, sure, but would it be enough to avoid the fatal fate brought by the enhanced shuriken? By pulling the shuriken downwards as it would easily slice through the clone previously used, the shuriken would follow Zakuro's trajectory downwards as well, likely even going at a faster rate do to its morphology and strength put into the action. If Zakuro were unable to produce any more jutsu after realizing the shuriken was still up there, he'd likely get slice into two large pieces.

Meanwhile, Gozoboro had closed even more the distance between Zakuro and himself so that if there were to be anything done to make the Shuriken fail, he could simply use his wind enhanced Kunai again.

Zaruko cursed once more, when he saw that something sliced through his shadow clone. He was already starting weaving handseals and just finished, when he saw the projectile coming his way, very fast. He took a small breath and blow out, using Water Style: Wild Water Wave to him go to the right. It just saved him in time, cause he saw what sliced through his clone. The shuriken just passed his face and Zaruko knew that he would have been in real trouble if he got hit by that. He threw a glance at his foe and saw him closing by. Zaruko didn't knew how long he would keep with this, but the shuriken who almost hitted him made Zaruko think that he didn't had much time. He had to come with a counter, wich would had to work, or admit his defeat.

Zakuro used a quick jutsu to move away. A water justu weakened by the El Niño but enough to move away from the shuriken. No matter. As the water justu made the man migrate, Gozoboro would slash his blade diagonally toward Zakuro as the man started using the water jutsu. A wind cutter would be throw again by the slash and attempt to finish of Zakuro who was left in the air moving at a pace that'll inevitable collide with the slash.

Meanwhile, during that same action, the wire would be dropped by Gozoboro's left hand and he'd now make a second Kunai appear on his free hand.

Zakuro smiled, he knew he was defeated. He now tried a different approach to evade the next coming attack, with namely Stream. He would try to evade of the next attacks and would make clear that he would acknowledge the fact that his foe was better then him. He just hoped that he would survive until then. Even though he was risking his life, he didn't felt bad to fight against such a powerful foe, he felt rather happy to get know such one. Zakuro promised to himself that he would train as hard as he could, so if he would meet him ever again, he would show his new strengt..IF he would survive this fight, that is.
