His guild tattoo is on his forearm, and he has a short, jagged scar on his left cheek.
Felix's early childhood went along relatively smoothly. He lived as a single child with his mother and father in a port-city along the edge of Fiore. He grew up with a couple of close friends, namely a girl that he was quite fond of, by the name of Lexi. Unfortunately, things seemed to take a turn for the worse when Felix turned nine or so. His dad had lost his job (his parents were ordinary humans, and thus, they had ordinary jobs), and was struggling to stick with a new occupation. Money became more and more scarce, and his parents continued to fight as tension escalated.
Every time Felix is present during one of these arguments, he would cry. Granted, he was young, but the thought of his parents arguing had previously seemed like such a foreign concept, and he'd never considered how it'd affect him. He became noticeably more distressed and irritated. Over time, Felix began to change. Whenever he was feeling more emotional than usual, he began to feel overwhelmed with energy. He didn't know it at the time, but this was his dormant magic beginning to arouse. With no knowledge of how to release that capped energy, this occurrance only frustrated even more.
Then things began to reach a climax. Felix's parents were in another argument, and he was in the same room as them while they were verbally assaulting each other. He typically tried to relocate in a different room during his parents' fights, but this time, he couldn't bring himself to do so. As his parents' voices rose and rose, becoming angrier and more biting, Felix simply couldn't take it anymore. He shouted, and following his outburst, a massive fluxion of energy illuminated the room. Objects were thrown and flipped in the chaos, and Felix's mother was relatively unscathed from the attack. His father, on the other hand, received the full brunt of the attack, and was slammed, face-first, into a nearby wall.
For a moment, Felix was too disoriented to do anything, and his mother was similarly stunned. Then the recently-awakened Wizard sprinted out of the house, leaving his shocked mother behind. He ran through the streets, weaving through crowds and pushing through people. Tears glistened in his eyes, and he ran and secluded himself in an isolated alley, where he could cry in peace. He wasn't able to stay along, however. His mother had apparently alerted the city-guard, and they were scoping the streets for Felix.
When they found the young Wizard, they promised that Felix wouldn't be charged with anything, that it was all just a horrible accident. Felix wanted to believe it, but he couldn't bring himself to do so. They led him back to his mother, who monotonously thanked the guard for finding her son and transferring her husband to a nearby medic.
Felix wasn't in trouble, as far as his mother was concerned. And for that, he should be thankful, but he wasn't. He almost wished that he would
get punished, as she had started to regard him with fear, coldness, and apathy. Furthermore, he considered himself guilty of murder, no matter what anyone else said to reassure him. He had killed his father, albeit unintentionally, though the act was still mentally scarring. After running into Lexi and a couple of his friends in the streets, he was dismayed when he learned that they no longer thought of him as the same person. They were scared of him and what he could do.
Finding life there to be growing unbearable, Felix packed some things and fled the city. Since his mother worked a double-shift at her factory job, it took her a few days to notice that her son was missing. Missing person reports were filed, but by then, it was already unlikely that they'd catch up with Felix, as they were completely unaware of his destination: Fairy Tail, a place for Wizards. Here, he could learn to control his powers and not be looked at as an outcast.
Unless you actually understand Felix's lifestyle and emotions, you probably don't know how he feels. Felix was never able to confide in anyone about killing his father; he just keeps it bottled in. Felix generally seems like an energetic and happy guy, as that's simply a front he puts on to conceal his true emotions. Felix is typically a determined individual, and if he sets a goal for himself, he'll probably reach or surpass it at some point. He's also quite intelligent, though you'll have to know him a little to be able to gleam it out of him. Felix prefers peaceful environments, in complete contrast to ones such as Fairy Tail, but that's not to say that he doesn't enjoy socializing and getting to know people.
One of Felix's main passions is training; through training, he can grow stronger and control his powers more carefully. Felix loves the serene peace surrounding nature as well.
Persistent people have been known to annoy Felix. Awkward lapses in conversation, dogs (some of them are so slobbery!), and obnoxiously loud people also tend to vex Felix.
Felix is always searching for ways to further his understanding of his magic and become more attuned with it as a result. Understanding his limits and knowing how to surpass them are also goals of his, as they'll help him be able to control his powers.
Felix detests feeling like an outcast; he felt like one when his parents were fighting, and his regular friends had also made him feel like one after the death of his father. Felix is also scared that people might see through his (figurative) mask.
Felix's typical outfit consists of some shirtless top, usually a plain color; matching trousers and combat boots; silver cuffs along his wrists; and, if the temperature permits, a fleece black jacket.
Energy Manipulation; Felix can manipulate raw energy and expel it from his hands, feet, or body in general. It can take a lot of concentration to control large amounts of raw energy, however. Raw energy can burn the opponent and/or send them flying; many other uses are possible as well.
Spells (all custom made):
- Felix focuses energy into the palms of his hands, which adds an explosive effect to each blow. He often uses this attack in succession.
- Felix manipulates energy into a sphere and fires it towards the opponent.
- Felix expels energy from his hands, which condenses into a beam that fires towards the combatent. Another possible utilization of this move is to expel the energy through his feet and into the ground, which can send him into the air or add more jumping power.
- Felix crosses his arms and exerts a large amount of energy which surrounds his body in a sudden explosion. This can drain him quite quickly depending on how many times he uses it.
- Felix focuses nearly all of his energy into a single blow which he delivers to the opponent. This attack is rarely used by Felix as it could easily kill someone if used effectively.
- Felix gathers a large amount of energy in his palms and slams them into the ground. As a result, the surrounding earth itself is uplifted
