I know a guy who everyone hated when he was younger. They were hard on him pretty much like everyone is here to you. But he grew up and we've kept talking since then. He's pretty cool now. And he actually helped fix my computer this year so he's a great guy.

I think it is. Even mature people can mature more, or have areas where they haven't done so. Maybe you're just cutting out bad habits because you don't see the point in them anymore, but that's also a way of maturing.
