I have role played before, but this is my first time joining a web site to find roleplays. During the day, I work as a writer, but I like to take some time every day to do some creative writing to let me unwind.

I'm primarily looking for 1X1 role plays to start. I'm open to a variety of themes, but I prefer role plays with a dark, mature theme. I like role playing with females, but I'm pretty open-minded/flexible.

I have a question: Sometime I enjoy role plays with an element of OOC chatting. Is this unusual?

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. But here we generally have an IC thread for each and an OOC thread. Some GM's (myself included) encourage the players to be active in the OOC. I find it makes for better dynamics and keeps people interested in the RP. Is that what you were speaking of? I know I am happiest getting to know my fellow players even if it is a one on one.

Yes Lillian, that is what I meant. I do enjoy chatting with my fellow role players, and I find the double layers of interaction appealing.
