Teddy Bear Apocalypse OOC

Basically a spoof of an apocalyptic rp. Rather than zombies or vampires or something scary, which I know we have all seen enough of, we will have an apocalypse of something cute and cuddly instead :3


There is chaos all over the streets. But it is nothing compared to that in the shops and stores. Hordes of people all over the world are constantly flooding into stores, very often trampling over each other in the process (and almost as often causing injuries or even fatalities). They shop like barbarians, rushing as fast to the toy sections as their legs can carry them, and fight (sometimes literally) over what they crave. No, not just crave. Need. What they absolutely must have. Even online stores all over the internet are not spared of the pandemonium; constantly becoming sold out of them and having to get more shipped in at every turn. For running out of them, they would always hear complaints (or even the occasional death threats) as well as demands to get more in stock. Even the black market has started an investment in these toys, due to how popular they are becoming.

Yes, all of this worldwide craze over one thing. Lucky Rainbow Teddy Bears.

But that is only where the madness begins. What the people do not realize is that these teddy bears are actually alive. They also possess very high levels of intelligence. But, unfortunately, they are not friendly or playful. Except for maybe when manipulating the children they belong to into doing their bidding, or helping them gather supplies and what they need for them to begin a revolution.
But before the humans realized the truth, it was already too late. Lucky Rainbow Teddy Bears from all over the world have already begun their secret plan to overthrow the government and take over the world. By the time people just started to become suspicious of these toys, seeing reports in the news about sane children claiming to have been told by these teddy bears to do bad things, they were already hacking into top secret government projects, hijacking vehicles and stealing weapons of all sorts.
To this day, Lucky Rainbow Teddy Bears run rampant all over the world causing havoc of all sorts. People are running around screaming and fearing for their lives, hiding wherever they can from these monstrous plush toys. Some of the braver ones have fought against them, but success is rare. Even Governments of every part of the world are in a complete mess, because of these teddies hacking into their systems and messing up all of their communications. They are aware of the teddies running amok in their streets, but are not yet aware that they are also the cause of all of the other problems they are having.

Here's mine:

Name: Cella

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Occupation: High school student

Personality: Carefree, outgoing, cheerful, empathic, optimistic, can be somewhat chatty here and there. Though she can be a bit too trusting at times, she will always try to do what she believes is the right thing. She also has a close bond with her little sister.

Skills/abilities: She can sketch and draw very well, can paint, is a great photographer and is open-minded and creative when trying to solve problems. But combatwise she has never fought in her life.

Inventory: Purse, money, some makeup, ID and a small knife. Possibly enough to down a teddy bear if she gets close enough and takes one by surprise. She also stole a rifle out of the gun locker in the K-Mart store where she hides now, but she has not figured out how to use or load it just yet.

Bio: Lived a typical life with a typical family, except for maybe her little sister who she bought a Lucky Rainbow Teddy Bear for. She had been caught a couple of times doing bad/unusual things, and blamed it on her new bear each time. But after being caught using her father's computer (who works as an agent for the CIA) to hack into government files gaining illegal information on where to obtain weapons of mass destruction, she was arrested and sent to a crazy house.
Likewise, Cella had noticed some strange things about her Lucky Rainbow Bear as well. She did not know it was alive yet, though there have been times where she would find it sitting in places where she did not remember leaving it. She thought it was all just her imagination, until late one night when she woke up and overheard the little troublemaker making strange phone calls through her father's cell phone.
Only then did she realize the truth. She would have told her parents or the police, but she was afraid they would just lock her up with her sister. But the following morning, her father had been apprehended and taken away by his own fellow CIA agents, and was never heard from again.
But to this day, Cella hides from the bears in a local K-Mart store with many others. It is only a matter of time before they discover her and take them all hostage.

Other: Cella was not sure of this, but during the chaos in her city she could swear she saw a red Lucky Rainbow bear spewing fire at a person. What she does not realize is that some of these bears actually do have strange powers and abilities.

Occupation: Academy student (Doesn't go to Public school)

Personality: Very friendly and smiles very often. He likes to talk and listen to how people feel while at the same time avoids telling people how he feels. He is very defensive and selfless when it comes to the lives of someone he knows or even people hes never seen before. He is very religious but doesn't talk about it.

Appearance: Dark Brown hair, usually over dresses for occasions. 99% of the time he will be in a tie or in his school uniform.



Skills/abilities: Master swordsman

Inventory: School uniform, 3 Kunai, A black bladed Katana, a wallet with Learners permit and Student ID. A hefty amount of money.

Bio: Aldalon comes from a rich family. He doesnt ever remember seeing his parents and lives with his older sister in a mansion. His older and younger sister had flown away for a vacation when the apocalypse began. Ald went down stairs in the night to get some water when he heard rustling and clashing of dishes in the kitchen. He grabbed his Katana, which his older sister taught him to use, and fought the bear. However, the youngest girl of a rich family is always spoiled and gets more lucky rainbow bears then a little girl should. Although trained in the art of kendo for almost all his life, it was just so frustrating to try and hit the little boogers. Ald admitted just one bear was more trouble the it should be.

Is it bad that this reminds me of that one ep of the Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy? I mean they had a ep or two where there was a teddybear craze where they were sentient just waiting for the right time to strike and cause chaos

Occupation:High school student albeit he skips school alot and chronically late to classes and/or falls asleep in class when he comes but for the most part teachers leave him along so long as he gets good grades and doesn't start trouble

Personality: cynical, irritable, weird down right twisted sense of humor even abit of childish humor,eccentric and perhaps partially, if not completely insane but that last one can't be proven

Appearance:

Skills/abilities: hes a good street fighter and got a very limited use of various electromagnetic phenomena's among other things(to be edited as I think of other things but will notify the creator for edits to be approved )


Inventory:commonly ever sense the teddybears started up the apocalypse when not in school he carry's a sword with him mostly for show but keeps it sharp to kill the blasted teddybears . but for commonly all the time things he keeps on person all the time be it on his hands or in his backpack brass knuckles,a switchblade knife, some shurikan always carries atleast 100 dollars cash in his wallet with a credit and debit card not to forget his student ID,While Oddly enough has two of those lucky rainbow bears with him all the time

By limited uses, do you mean things like helping the flow of electricity to help start a car or other devices? If so that's fine. And if you even want to outright electrocute a teddy bear or two that's fine too, as long as the bear is within a fairly close range and as long as you don't get too carried away with it. Anyways, you're approved.

Sadly the powers you said was okay is in the start up CS are more supernaturel in nature just saying but anyway Limited mostly useless stuff like use his powers to hear radio waves and tap into phone lines, including listening in on the police broadband and music stations, as well as making calls. But yes he could jump start a car his useful powers he can us in combat generating a "taser punches" or ''taser kick'' with effects similar to a stun gun basically he manifests electrocule energy around his fist or foot in the right way to stun things and to fry a teddy he would do something like the image of my character is doing with his hands meaning his range of combat uses is very limited with using it in the purest form

If thats to much I can cut it down to just the combat uses and simple things like starting cars and overloading things just let me know if you disprove of how much I allowed him
