Some are motivated by duty and honour. Others seek fame and reputation. The ruthless seek wealth.

Nova is most definitely motivated by the latter.

A mercenary company established in 2173CE by a group of six associates, Nova has over the past 3 years taken on any job that pays well and has earned the reputation for getting the job done. Starting off with small time jobs for various business owners and other clients with a few extra credits to spare, their reputation, and the scale of their work, quickly grow in scope. Before long, Nova had established itself as a fairly major player in the galactic freelancer scene. Although professional on the job, the team quickly developed a sense of companionship and respect that comes from being a family.

The prevailing attitude of their ship, a retired turian stealth frigate called the Tyrus, is decidedly relaxed and all decisions are handled in a democratic manner among Nova’s ground team and the auxiliary and support crew that mans the ship are simply paid help. It is not uncommon for pranks and jokes to be flung at each other’s expense and at first glace, one wouldn’t believe that Nova is as effective as their reputation would suggest. However, as anyone who has witnessed them in action can attest to, they get the job done every time.

It wasn’t long before work took them head to head with Eclipse and the Blood Pack, and there have been frequent attempts on the team by both of those groups over the two years they have been together to either kill or capture the team and their ship. So far, Nova has always come out on top with more and more spectacular victories against these vicious adversaries. The Alliance had taken notice of Nova’s performance on several occasions and is a semi-regular source of work when something needs to be done that can’t be tracked back to humanity’s military. Nova gladly accepts these contracts; Admiral Hackett and the others have always been free and generous with their funding. Following the Alliance’s example, Nova’s been probed out for work by other governments, including the turians, asari, and the volus. Indeed, it is a good time to be a freelancer.

Nova had its first real crisis when Admiral Hackett assigned them as first responders to a sudden assault on Elysium in 2176CE. Going in with minimal intelligence and decidedly outgunned and outmanned by the invading bartarian pirates and slavers, the team had barely accomplished their mission and left alive, mostly thanks to the assistance of a ragtag group of non-affiliated specialists they encountered by chance on the human colony. Due to the team and their new found allies’ efforts, the Alliance secured communications with the besieged civilians and army personnel on the colony and Nova left Elysium substantially richer, but quite injured and relatively subdued.

Thus the first change of policy occurred. After several hours of debate and arguing, the team decided for the first time to take new members into Nova. The specialists they encountered on Elysium were offered positions, and over the next six months have taken on new recruits they deemed were what they were after. And so now, a reformed and larger team is on its first major assignment together. A relatively simple task that involves meeting a client for work they are assured will pay them beyond their wildest dreams and give them the experience of a lifetime.

Little do they know, this assignment will grow to be more complicated as it will take them across the galaxy in search of something long lost to time against one of the most feared men in the galaxy, the Shadow Broker.

    In a race against time and for their lives against the most powerful and influential information broker in the galaxy, Nova must complete their assignment while dodging the Shadow Broker’s agents while uncovering the mystery of why the Shadow Broker is so interested in the mission and what the repercussions will be if their target falls into the wrong hands. The stakes have never been higher, and the pay even more so. The question remains to be answered, however;

What is Nova willing to pay to complete their mission?

    Overview

Hello and welcome to Mass Effect: Nova, the successor to the awesome Mass Effect: Surge that survived almost its entire length without a GM. I aim to keep the story going and provide direction to the players.

This RP is run slightly differently than most, as in each of the members adds to the plot and controls events and NPCs like any GM would. It was a solid system that worked well for the last game, and I have no intention to change that this time around. My primary function is to introduce and role play as key NPCs that are involved in the plot line while the rest of the players ‘colour in the pages’, so to speak. What this basically means is you are free to create NPCs for your character to interact with and sometimes fight, and you can potentially change the outcome of how things work. For instance, in the last game, one of the players thought it would be a fantastic idea to involve an A-61 Mantis gunship in a street battle when our characters had no means to deal with it. It was awesome and proved to be a useful plot point. As long as it’s setting appropriate and could reasonably happen, we shouldn’t have any issues. Just keep in mind how the pacing of the fight or the scene is going on and keep things fair and fun for everyone. The goal here is telling a story and role playing. We’re not trying to make things miserable for our fellow players or turn this into the arena. If there’s an issue, I’ll let you know. I'm still the GM, so I make final calls. There shouldn't be any issues, however!

More of the plot will be unveiled as we go along, and I don’t want to reveal too much right at this moment. What you need to know is the following: Unless you were one of the members of the last role play and your character was one of the founding members, this will be your character’s first assignment with Nova. The PCs will be in and around Chora’s Den to meet with a potential client who has a job offer that is too lucrative to turn down and it will lead to quite the adventure that will take the crew to many different locations across the galaxy, meet all sorts of interesting people, and be put into conflict with none other than the Shadow Broker. How is a small group of freelancers supposed to survive and come out on top against arguably the most powerful man in the galaxy? That’s where your actions come in! There may also be time for ‘loyalty missions’, where you will be running your character’s own independent storyline should the crew decide to go that way. Think of it a lot like ME2 where you can complete or ignore these story lines, but the experience is usually very rewarding and provides a unique insight into your character. When you come up with a storyline and a mission for your character, send it my way for review. Once we finalize the story we’ll keep in on hold in case it comes into play in the game and see what the team does with the information provided.

The setting of the game is 2176CE, after the Skyllian Blitz opened up and Elysium was invaded by well-armed bartarian mercenaries and slavers. This was a wake up call for Nova, who had come through their mission to reestablish communications between the Alliance and the local ground forces battered but alive. After much drinking and arguing, the team decided to expand their membership and start recruiting, as well as ensuring they have proper intelligence before accepting any more contracts that could potentially get them all killed. This of course is what we call naïve optimism, given what they’ll soon be up against.

Your character was either referenced, contacted, or had approached Nova on word they were looking for new members. Nova is a smaller outfit, but they have a solid reputation and as such it wouldn’t be totally unheard of someone hearing that they’re looking for members. By the time the RP opens up, the new characters will be deploying with the team for the first time since being hired.

    The Ship

(Ship layout is entirely Proffer’s creation and work, and all credit goes to him!) note: Colour Box around the crew quarters corresponds with player text colour. Thanks to Voltin for being able to colour in the lines!

The ship is a retired turian stealth frigate the founding members of Nova had purchased nearly 4 years prior to the game’s start and had started their lives as freelancers from there. It isn’t run as formally as a purely military ship, and the crew has done a fair deal of modifications to it to make it more comfortable and personal. Team members are free to customize their quarters as they see fit, but everything comes out of their personal wages.

Overall design of areas like the mess hall and lounge will be determined by players, as the ship is furnished by the characters.

The cargo bay contains Tanya Carson’s workshop and mechanical storage for maintaining the team’s UT-47 Kodiak drop shuttle and M-35 Mako. The team’s weapon and equipment lockers are kept on this level, although they are free to bring their gear anywhere on the ship if they so choose. Tanya’s assistant makes his lodging on this level, as well.

The medical bay is designed similarly to the SSV Normandy’s, and carries a healthy stock of levo and dextro-amino friendly supplies. There is an NPC doctor as well as any medically inclined player characters running this section.

The lab is where the tech-minded characters will likely be working and developing new technologies as well as upgrades for the team and the ship. The exact use of this room will depend largely on player character choices and preferences.

The VI Core is home to the hardware that houses the VI, jokingly named “Captain” by the crew that is responsible for much of the ship’s systems and organization. Nothing overly special here, and the room is usually locked to avoid tampering.

The CIC is almost identical to layout as the Normandy SR2, as is the logistics and cockpit. This will be immediately familiar to player characters.

Nova works off a democratic system, and as such, there is no set leader and everything is done through popular vote and personal competence. While the founding members have seniority and can overrule decisions of newer members, each team member’s input is important for the success of the team.

Note: This section will be periodically updated as more information is added and decided upon, as well as team member functions.

    Game Rules

    1. You God mod, your character is eaten by a Thresher Maw after being gang-raped by vorcha (for that bit of imagery, you are welcome). You have been warned. This includes being untouchable in combat, reading people’s thoughts, knowing and reacting to events that your character can’t possibly have known about, any deus ex machina of any sort, and so on. Basically, common sense. We’re telling a story, not hacking a video game.
    2. Mary and Gary Sues will be shot out of the airlock towards the nearest star to contemplate how awful they are. This includes characters who are irritatingly perfect, loved by everyone, have had personal contact and relationships with canon characters (e.g. dated them, were friends, served directly under or with, had a rivalry, et cetera that would earn their trust and affection) always have the answers to all the problems, have no flaws, and painfully generic back stories that is like sandpaper for the eyes.
    3. Approved races only. This means no geth, yahg, Collectors, protheans, virtual aliens, or Leviathans, et cetera that make no sense in the time line or playing capacity. Approved races are; human, turian, asari, salarian, drell, krogan, bartarian, quarian, and maybe vorcha. Other races like hanar, volus, and elcor I will allow, you just need to work extra hard to make them convincing and take into account their limitations. Namely fitting into a Kodiak and Mako, wearing armour, not dying spectacularly when shot, and being able to handle most weapons.
    4. Technology is limited to a pre-Mass Effect technology level. Ergo, no thermal clips, and geth weaponry is prohibited as a result, along with anything that has been designed after the games came out, setting wise. This means if there’s a gun in Mass Effect 3 that is awesome but has existed for some time, its fair game (assuming your character is able to obtain it. Keep in mind some weapons are extremely expensive or rare). Likewise, the odds of your character actually owning something like a Collector assault rifle or any other Collector technology are slim to none, so don’t count on it. Once again, not sure, ask away!
    5. Original characters only, thanks. Obvious rip offs of established characters will also not be tolerated. Failing to do this will force your character into the next issue of Fornax with a krogan and hanar tag team.

    6. If your character is biotic, take into consideration restrictions and social issues coming from having it relative to their cultures. If a race cannot have biotics, don’t pretend they do. Read the wiki pages for more information.

    7. If you want to make up an organization or company or whatever for your back story, that’s allowed and somewhat encouraged as long as it doesn’t mess around with canon or contradict the timeline.

    8. Character deaths are a possibility, but unlikely. It will be context sensitive and likely will not happen. Expect injuries and wounds to happen, though. If your character is caught in a heavy battle without the upper hand, please treat it realistically. I don’t want to see somebody take on 20 mercs and walk out like nothing happened.

    9. Pre-made characters are permitted, provided you update them to fit this RP and take the time to make them suit the story. Please no copy/paste jobs without taking into consideration CS formats and the rules and setting.

    10. If you’re going to go away or feel like dropping out, please let us know if possible. It’s a courtesy thing and annoying as hell when people vanish without saying anything. It has this nasty habit of hanging up RPs while they wait for somebody to return. That said, real life comes first so if things come up, your character will be treated as an NPC until you return. Don’t feel pressured to post if you have real life stuff to worry about! I know most of you guys are busy with school and work, so if you could do one or two posts a week I'd be pleased as Falcon Punch. That said, I hope if you’re joining this you’ll be able to spend a decent amount of time with it.

    11. Writing requirements are High-Casual, so at minimum 2 detailed paragraphs, likely more. The standards could very well be in Advanced, but if you’re having an off day or don’t have as much to write for a post, don’t feel pressured to have to meet a certain quality. Just proof read your posts and take your time with them, as well as taking into consideration what other people wrote. If you’re not sure on your writing ability but want to try it, I have a lot of patience and understanding. But if you treat this like a Free RP and do single line or short paragraph posts, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. Harbinger will also wear your character as a slipper.

    12. If someone hasn’t posted for a while and they’re holding everything up, feel free to post through them and continue on the story. Give them a couple days to reply or at least show OOC activity. This RP will not die because somebody is tardy or busy. No sense in 1 person holding up 6 when they want to or are able to post.

    13. Romances are allowed in the RP, but it will not be the focus of this RP. If you feel the need to be a smut monster, please take that shit to PMs. Likewise, if your making a character with the sole intention of scoring, I will hook them up with a volus after a long night of intoxication and they be mocked ruthlessly for all eternity. Nova’s a bunch of mercs, professionals. If there’s a conflict of interest between the team’s goals and somebody’s sex drive, don’t expect them to be remaining on the team.

    14. Previously accepted characters from Mass Effect: Surge will be pre-approved and have top priority for making the list. There’s a few reasons for this; First, it’s a sequel to that RP and as such it wouldn’t make sense not having a team without the key characters from the last go around. Second, the characters have a history together before and during the previous RPs. I’d like to pick up where they left off. And third, I know what their writing abilities are like. They know how this is going to go down, as do I. That said, don’t feel like the odd man out! You too can make glorious RP fun times!

    15. As mentioned before, this RP will be a cooperative effort and outside of the story arc, everyone is responsible for creating the situations and adding to the scenes and controlling NPCs and enemies. Just keep it reasonable and bear in mind the flow and pacing of situations. If a fight’s coming to a close, I do not want to see a horde of YMIR mechs being dropped off. Likewise, if the situation doesn’t call for something, don’t do it. For instance, if the team’s on the ship, do not randomly have it being attacked. Let me generally start encounters and missions. If you need clarification how this is going to work, let me know.

    16. If you're considering applying to this, please be the kind of person who sticks with RPs through thick and thin. The nature of play-by-post RPs means that this will go on for several months and there's going to be busy periods and slow periods. I need people who stay committed to the RP and not drop out by page 3 because they got bored or decided it wasn't for them. You do that to me, I will remember you and you will have to do a lot of making up to make me consider accepting you back into one of my RPs. Personal character matters to me. That said, legit reasons come up and you give me lots of advanced warning, I'm the nicest guy in the world!

Scary section is now over, CS-ta time!

    Character Sheet

Name: Your character’s name and any nicknames or aliases they may have.
Race: Your character’s race. Given the pre-ME1 timeline for this RP, there are restrictions. There will be no geth, yahg, prothean, collector, virtual aliens, Leviathans, or anything else that shouldn’t already be common sense. Please do not make me bitch smack you over arguing for something that would make no sense.
Gender: Male, female, mono-gendered, you know the drill.
Age: Make this race appropriate. For ease of reference, assume most races have comparable life spans, except for salarians (40 year life expectancy), asari (1,000 year life expectancy), and krogan (1,400-1,600 year life expectancy). Keep in mind that chances are your character is younger or middle aged and full of piss and vinegar, so you probably don’t want to make your character a 1,200 year old krogan with space-dementia. If anyone has solid information on race life expectancies, please share with the class.
Class: Soldier, Adept, Engineer, Vanguard, Infiltrator, Sentinel. Also state duties aboard the Tyrus (for instance, engine maintenance, navigation, weapon systems, life support systems, et cetera). Since our people are the ground team, there are NPCs who run the ship when Nova’s deployed.
Appearance: A detailed description and/or picture of your character. Please, no anime pictures. I will not be able to take your application seriously imagining an effeminate blue-haired boy with flowing long hair and keeper-sized eyeballs taking on the horrors of the galaxy with his stick arms.
Background: A detailed and accurate history and upbringing of your character from childhood to now, with consideration of timeline events and what’s stated for lore (especially involving your character's race and culture). We’re trying to keep this accurate, and this section helps me determine your writing ability and dedication to sticking with this RP. As well, the more information you provide, the better you understand your character and play them better from the get-go. If your character had a particular role or were special forces or something notable, please describe their time in that service and how they got in/ out of it. I don’t want to see something like ‘And Johnny was a Spectre’ tacked on as an afterthought with no details. If you write a two short paragraph bio, it tells me you didn’t put any thought into it. If you think your character can hold up for a month and a half without a GM, and can be a stand alone main character, it’s probably good enough.
Equipment: Weapons, armour, and other important bits like Omni-tools and biotic amps and things that aren’t necessarily featured in games but your character takes with them. Check the wiki page for more information. Also, grenades are included in here and not in the power section. There will be certain weapon restrictions given the timeline and availability, but most are fair game, including ME3 weaponry. Just remember this is a Play by Post RP, so weapon stats aren't exactly like in the video game. You don’t necessarily need a super top tier weapon when a basic one will do just fine. It’s like saying an AK-47 doesn’t hurt as much as a G36 because it doesn’t cost as much and isn’t as excellently crafted. Point being; bullets are bullets.
Powers: Up to five or six different powers your character will use. I normally wouldn’t put a restriction on this but I just know I’m going to have one or two people who just throw everything on a list onto their CS and call it a day. Keep in mind that if your character is a biotic, some techniques are a lot more demanding and that it takes time and practice to master abilities. Likewise for tech abilities, it takes a certain degree of technical know how to use many of the techniques. So pick what makes sense for your character and you can see yourself using often enough.
Personal Quarters Location Each character will have personal space for themselves with ten private rooms, as detailed on the diagram. Describe the location. All rooms are identical and the position doesn’t matter, but it helps for figuring out character locations while role playing. As a note, directions on the ship are as follows: Front= Bow. Rear= Stern. Left= Port. Right= Starboard.
Font Colour: What colour your character’s dialog and thoughts will be highlighted as. Not necessary, but if you like to do that, stake a claim!

    Name: Tanya Carson
    Race: Human
    Gender: Female
    Age: 28
Class: Engineer, serves as chief mechanic for UT-47 Kodiak and M-35 Mako and sometimes personal equipment and weapon technician

    Appearance:

Tanya stands at 5'06" and sports a lean, strong frame of the Alliance Marine she once was. She sports a piercing gaze with her dark grey eyes and a non-regulation crop of nearly black hair that gives her a somewhat wild appearance. She carries herself in a confident but independent way.

Background: Born 2148CE to a Systems Alliance Marine named Lieutenant-Commander Eric Carson, Tanya was born a month after the Prothean relics were discovered on Mars. Tanya’s father was initially a member of the British Armed Forces, but when the Systems Alliance Charter was formed a year after Tanya’s birth, he found himself transferring to the newly formed alliance of 18 independent nations with the hopes of being among the first humans to see another solar system. The discovery of the Prothean artefacts confirmed what he always suspected; there was other intelligent life in the galaxy. Lt. Commander Carson signed on with 4th Frontier Division, attached to the 6th Fleet, and the Carson clan found themselves among the first colonists on the newly discovered Terra Nova.

Tanya’s family had a long history of military service, and she is able to trace her ancestry back to the Napoleonic Wars. The firstborn males had a tendency of enlisting in the military, a proud Carson family tradition, although that was by no means the only member of the family in the service; during the Boer War, seven Carson brothers fought in South Africa, and only four came home. The man who would eventually end up becoming Tanya’s great-great-great-great grandfather brought home his Lee-Enfield rifle and passed it down to his firstborn son upon his deathbed. This was the beginning of a well-established family tradition.

Terra Nova was the first home Tanya remembered, and the dark, barely hospitable planet seemed perfectly normal to her, although she noticed her parents often argued over their new home. Terra Nova was a dark, mostly desert world with scorching temperatures and an atmosphere with high concentrations of methane and carbon dioxide, making it uncomfortable for the initial Earth-Born colonists to acclimatize to. Their argument was put on hold when an incident at Shanxi in 2157CE caused the 4th Frontier Division to assign regiments on loan to the 2nd Fleet as a reaction force, with the promise of being returned to the 6th Fleet after the incident was resolved. This incident would become the First Contact War, and Lt. Commander Carson’s first encounter with extra-terrestrial life would prove to be fatal. He returned to Terra Nova to a grieving wife and an only child.

Tanya was only 9 when she lost her father, and instead of growing to hate the aliens who killed him, she wanted to know who they were. She had grown up on the knee of her father, telling her stories of great wars long past and the deeds of her ancestors. This was no different, only the enemy wasn’t human. Her father died a hero, and while she missed him terribly, she was proud of him. He may have died, but he took out half a platoon before he succumbed to his wounds, the man who came to their prefabricated home told them.

To Tanya, these turians were probably like the Dutch, French, Russian and German enemies of her ancestors’ past. If they could learn to forgive each other after decades, if not centuries, of fighting, maybe the turians wouldn’t be so different. To her surprise, her prediction came true shortly after the counter-attack and Tanya was shocked to discover there were more aliens out there than just the turians, and they were the ones who stopped the war.

While Eric Carson didn’t leave a son behind, his daughter was more than willing to pick up the mantle. Despite her mother, Belle’s, protests, Tanya took to wanting to learn how to be a marine like her father, and get off of Terra Nova to see who these aliens were in person. She threw herself into learning how the family vehicles worked, as her father had shown her, and continued shooting with her father’s hunting rifle. Her life was becoming increasingly surrounded by machines as well as her school studies, and she was on a fast track to joining the Alliance as a combat engineer.

Her dreams were almost derailed by a falling for a boy named Gary she had grown up with on the colony whose father was close to hers, and both never came home from Shanxi. The two threw themselves at becoming mechanics and he had all but convinced her that the colony needed people with their skills. It was true, in their suburb in Scott, barely anyone knew how to maintain their own vehicles, as most of the skilled members were in the Alliance and needless to say occupied elsewhere. They were even set to get married after a whirlwind romance when Gary was killed on his motocycle the week before the ceremony, leaving Tanya bitter and alone. Three months later, in 2166CE, Tanya enlisted in the Systems Alliance 63rd Division and specialized as a combat engineer shortly afterwards. Before she left Terra Nova, her mother presented Tanya with the old Lee-Enfield rifle and her father’s medals, and her blessing to do what all Carsons were born to do.

In 2170CE, Tanya and the 63rd Division found themselves moving in respond to the bartarian slaver raid on Mindoir. Tanya did not know much about the bartarians other than they didn’t see eye to eye with humanity over colonization rights, but the brazen attack on the colony left her shocked. Her unit deployed and she had her first taste of combat, and it was not a positive experience. Her unit was heavily outgunned and the casualties were staggering; the 63rd was unable to break the bartarian lines and attempt to rescue the colonists. Tanya found herself running off less than 4 hours of sleep in two days, and the new A-61 Mantis Gunships and M29 Grizzlys were in constant need of repairs due to the chaos of combat. While the men and women of her platoon fought off a bartarian counter attack, Tanya fought in the way she knew best; fixing the hell out of anything that needed it. Because of her efforts, there was enough armour and air support to keep their line from collapsing. She was awarded a Distinguished Service Medal for her actions.

After the battles in Mindoir, the 63rd was deployed in various regions of the galaxy, and Tanya had found herself becoming rather bitter at the whole affair. She had regular nightmares about what she’d seen on the colony, and couldn’t shake the feeling of that happening to Terra Nova. For the next 3 years, Tanya served with the Alliance until she decided to retire with honours after seven years of service in 2173CE. She returned home for a time until she grew restless, realizing her place was with the galaxy. She was quietly pleased with herself when an independent outfit hired her on as a combat engineer and mechanical specialist in the same year she retired from service.

This outfit would turn out being the creation of Nova, in which her and her five associates chipped in what earnings they had put aside to pay for a retired turian frigate called the Tyrus. After much retrofitting and preparation, the team finally had a ship ready for deployment and a means to begin work.

Things started off small scale, but quickly grew in scope as word passed along about Nova's success. After three years, the team had built up a steady income, a solid reputation, and a sense of family that Tanya was sorely missing after being estranged from her mother. They had even become targeted by the Blood Pack and Eclipse at times, but due to their mobile nature and unmatched specialist skills, they've never run into any lasting trouble. It was a good life, and Tanya was allowing herself to be happy for once.

Things came to a head when Admiral Hackett hired the team to secure a communications tower on Elysium during the opening hours of the Skyllian Blitz. Going in with virtually no intelligence and completely outnumbered and outgunned, the team succeeded in their objectives battered and bruised, and only with the help of three expats they had encountered by chance during a hectic street battle in which one of their members had to be extracted due to her wounds.

After the mission, and several loud and angry drinking sessions, the team came to an agreement about their membership policies. An extension of membership was offered to the three who had helped the team complete the mission, and it was decided they would look for new members and crew to man Tyrus when the ground team was away. So far, it's been a better arrangement than they could have hoped, and now, the team is embarking on it's first mission with these new members. Tanya can only hope they're not going to make a mess of everything.

Derv, thank you. Can't wait to get Roland back in action! Unfortunately, it's late and I've had a busy day so I'm just posting to reserve the color and his room, which is the room closest to the stern, starboard side (felt like an idiot having to look up the ship jargon ).
Don't take me seriously or I may have to kill you!

I'll start the process of dusting off Karin's character sheet and reworking her for this RP. I'm beyond mentally exhausted at the moment, and I still need to go over what needs to be changed. For one, she wouldn't have progressed to the point of securing contracts with the mysterious Employer and so wouldn't have access to bajllions of credits. Possibly pushing her slightly towards more of the techy side and less on the sniper side, but the details aren't set in stone yet.

Also still have dibs on Plum as font color.

This is Soshi's proofreading monkey. It is currently trying to make sense of Soshi's post. Please do not disturb the proofreading monkey.

Glad to see you back, guys! There isn't a whole lot you two need to update, just a couple sections.

I also realized I forgot to add the past six months to Tanya's background, but I'll handle that tomorrow or something. WHOOPS.

ATP's coming along too, and Mosis is seeing if he has some extra time for it.

We almost have the whole gang! Kinda.

    Invite friends, as well!

Posting just to say I'm here and all that. ;] I read the new text, and I'll be reviewing the old, when I'm considering what to do and such, tomorrow. Make sure I have a firm grasp of the details.

Unless I bring Cap over, which is admittedly somewhat tempting, I'll be doing that quarian idea or some turian or other. The main problem with Cap is that her colony background would be notably different, unless there's culturally diverse colonies I'm not aware of. (even if there is, there'd have to be some changes). And there may be other important factors I'm forgetting about, right now.

Would it be safe to read everyone's old character sheets? I ask since it may be slightly important in what I do with my own character, I'm not quite sure yet.

Read the damn overview. :P It's six months after that. We're starting off on the Citadel in Chora's Den meeting a client for work. Or rather, Tanya's doing the face to face work and everyone else is keeping tabs on radio.

Knowing is half the battle. GI Joooooooe!

    Very tempting.

I'll begin drafting up a CS as soon as possible, assuming you don't mind!
