I suppose I'll look into getting up a post, more so for the lovely Ingrid than Kygg.
For discussions sake, theres no reason you cant put a controller and a widescreen TV on your computer and put the box in the lounge with the comfy chair.... haha
But anyway, it almost 4 am here and I really shouldn't have stayed up this late in the first place. I am on holiday, but still sleeping now means i miss the time when you are all on. Damned Assassins Creed, why must you be so awesome?
Anyway, for my post, something irl came up that temporarily blitzed my creative feeling for tonight (yesterday night, whatever). I believe about half a dozen redcoat patrols didn't make it away from me because of that particular irl occurence. I'm better now, but its 4 am. will write something when i get up...
Night.

so i'm playing through leviathan and omega now. late to the game i know, but w/e.
so i just read the codex entry about turian cabals. boy was i off by a mile or what??
i like otters
Wait... you wrote Tillus without knowing the stuff about Cabals? I didn't notice, and i'm a lore hound most of the time....
yeah i wrote all that before omega was even announced. i was totally just assuming what it would have been like. apparently they actually consist of 10-15 people who are all biotics. and also they're all "highly skilled in small arms, explosives, infiltration tactics, and piloting."
if derv doesn't mind can we turn a blind eye to that codex entry for the sake of tillus's backstory?
if everyone in his cabal was a biotic it would kind of completely destroys all his secret backstory i had for him and also the reasons behind his assholery
i like otters
I kinda just assumed that his whole squad was biotic (except the captain - i see them acting in a kinda dragon age qunariish manner of not trusting their 'mages' and so giving them a normal boss) and that they just were'nt actually powerful enough to really use the abilities. Like, lift a pencil or a credit chit, but thats about it. Dunno if you like that idea, but if you do and it fits with your secret backstory go ahead and take it.
My reasoning is that in turian society Biotics have so much stigma that even really minor abilities get chucked into a cabal.
Oh yeah, is Malek going to come with us on the Silea?
Edit:
Post is up. I was going to introduce Anonaymer (the Hanar) but i got distracted towards the end of the post. He'll have to wait.

I think I overlooked that too, Enzyme. I always knew everybody in Cabals were biotics. O.o Although the point brought up that even with minor aptitude will get you thrown into a Cabal is probably accurate enough not to screw things over. My Cabal character, Verek Cassen, was powerful enough to do throws and pushes, but without implants, it's horribly exhausting and he'd much rather use weapons than his biotics. He's also a good, dedicated soldier who happens to feel screwed by the society he serves because he feels like having biotics ruined any chance of chosing anything for himself in life, because the Cabals are the only place that will take him and not make him feel like an outsider. This also has led him to be critical of his government at times, especially in regards to how things like Shanxi was managed. How could humans follow laws they had no idea existed? Stuff like that. I'm sure we can work out what's going on with Tillus without problem! As for Malek coming with the team, he's staying on Intrepid Station and kind of being the voice of god whenever intel comes up and providing instruction. Besides, being stuck in a can with Ryloc would be a living nightmare for him.
A special thanks to Vanquished for the sig!
And another special thanks to Tick for the avatar!

Mass Effect: Nova (Collaborative GM project among all players)
Don't let Zhar hear you calling his baby a can... That might be one of the few things that would make him break his perfect composure. On second thought, that could be rather fun to write.
Somehow, I think everyone will be coming out of this mission a bit different after being cooped up with Ryloc for however long it takes to eliminate Nova. Except Ryloc of course, may he never change!
Unless he somehow changes and becomes more awesome....
I love how well written and well thought out all of these posts are. I'm reading them by phone between classes and I dont really have time to make a post yet. I'll try to work on one this evening hopefully. I'm excited for this!
