I'm not sure that there is any solid information on Nanotechnology in ME, though I do have a few thoughts on it based on what I see in game.
Firstly, one of the objectives of Dr. Chandenar's team onboard the derelict reaper in ME2 was to acquire and study any Nanotech they found. Husks where made using Nano-tech, and it was considered plausable for the Geth to have that technology until it was proved otherwise. There is also an Extranet meme about a planet thats covered in nanobots (widely believed to be false...)
On the other hand, the way an Omni tool minifactures things does seem very nano-techy to me, and I beleive there was some sort of nanotech invovled in Project Lazarus.

My conclusion, Nano-tech is not particularly advanced, but it is an active field of research and advancing at a reasonable pace.

Dunno if that helps Soshi, and it is just my opinion based on the (very few) facts about it we get in ME.

On a more serious note, that sounds like a fairly good idea about the ship Derv.

I think your analysis of nano-tech is pretty sound. As long as we don't end up with the 'grey goo' scenario, we'll be okay. XD Read Michael Crichton's 'Prey' and don't sleep that night.

You could check with Orange about what she had in mind for ship design, but I think she was pretty much taking care of that, she may do a layout map for the ship, but as I said, it's not going to be important to the plot. Well, not like Tyrus is, anyways. It's going to be a brave new world for Nova's ex-members and for people who are used to big, comfortable private rooms.

As for the gunship, kiddy corner it out the door. Like the Blue Harvest couch.

@Dervish: a while back and shortly after I posted that I won't be able to actively post for ME:Nova, I posted my plan to end Karin's character early but unfortunately I never got around to it. With ME:Void just around the corner and the 7 year jump, it feels even more pointless to bring together a conclusion post and risk botching it up for no good reason.

@Sundered Echo: I haven't yet decided which type of nanotechnology to use (ie: medical, fabrication, etc) but your info gives me something to think on. Thanks. :3

Vinny, Cathy: It's fine, but I do need assurances that you guys aren't going to make 3 posts and then vanish like this RP. It's not really fair to somebody else if they want a slot and will post regularily if that happens again. Especially when I made exceptions to fit extra people in this RP because I was more or less begged to. If you guys are going to be dedicated and constant, then I have no problems.
