The Demon Inside (IC)

Aqua looked up in thought for a moment. It only took her a minute to think of a sure fire plan. She removed her cloak and wrapped it around Liam, pulling the hood up over his head, though it almost didn't fit with the horns protruding from his head. "Seeing as Gray owes me big time for not reporting him to the Top, I'm sure he'll help us hide them using his magic, or find someone who can hide them using magic. Without Sarina finding out of course, I know you don't want her to see you like this." The young woman turned toward the large door and pressed her right hand against it. It slowly opened. "Follow me, keep your head down." With that she walked out expecting him to follow behind. She kept herself a bit ducked down, signaling for him to stop and then follow whenever someone passed by. They kept to the shadows until they came upon a door that looked like it led to the outside. Aqua pulled her key from her pocket and used it to return herself and Liam to the apartment. "Now, if I remember correctly... Gray and Sarina had already made it to the exorcists headquarters here, before you were attacked."

Liam stood there like a puppet when she took off her cloak and put it on him, when she pulled the hood over he touched his horns through the clothe. It was tight and could possibly rip the fabric but at least it hid them for the time needed. He gave her a small smile that disappeared as soon as it showed up. He followed her out and did as instructed till they came across a door, she put her key in it and they were back in his apartment. "Will we go to them or stay here and wait?"

Aqua removed her cloak from Liam and put it back on herself. She then sat on Sarina's bed with her hands on her lap. "Knowing Gray, he wouldn't have told Sarina that you were missing if he found out you were, either way, he'd come to see if you're here or not... I'm sure he'll be here any..." The young woman stopped in mid sentence and looked toward the door. Gray walked in with a displeased expression, he looked at Liam, surprised to see the horns coming out of his head. How convenient... Aqua thought to herself. "What an unexpected surprise... Aqua. She hasn't hurt you has she Liam?" Gray questioned the teen before him.

Liam walked over to his bed when she sat down on Sarina's, he listened to her explain the way Gray would think and then was soon interrupted by the man himself. He looked at him with a blank face and touched his horns trying to hide them in case Sarina happened to be with him, but it was no use. He dropped his hands and looked to Aqua then back to Gray, "No, not intentionally," he said then his voice went to a depressed tone, "Just my demon." He grew curious about Sarina and stood up, leaning to the side to see if she was behind him, "Is Sarina with you? Where is she?"

"Fortunately she's not, she's safe out of the rain and away from any demons. You've no need to worry. I came here to see if you have returned. And low and behold... But it seems you've brought someone here who I'd rather not have seen..." He looked at Aqua and when she smirked at him, he looked away. "Don't act like your not thrilled to see me, Gray. But I suppose you wouldn't be, since you know why I'm here" Aqua crossed her arms and looked Liam up and down. "He's caused quite a commotion Ferdia has..." She watched as Gray removed his hands from his pockets and walked over to the balcony, staring outside. "Yes, what are you going to do with the two of them?" Gray asked, fearing for Liam's fate. "Liam is to stay with me, you can guard Sarina all you want, but Liam is mine until this whole mess is sorted out"

Liam listened to Gray as he explained Sarina's whereabouts, he frowned when he heard she wasn't there but also felt glad because he didn't want her to see his horns. "Are you sure she's safe, I wanna see her!" his voice lowered and he looked away, "But I don't want her to see me." He sat down on his bed and cuffed his hands as he listened to Aqua and Gray talk, he felt like he was a huge burden when Gray said "what are you going to do with the two of them?" and he didn't want to be but felt like he had no choice.
