Stefan slumped helplessly down to the ground, but he couldn't take his eyes off her lifeless corpse. She was dead because of him. When she gasped for air, he became alert and shot up. He nodded, but still felt like it was his fault. "I.. I'm sorry, Char. I should've been more on guard, I should have been listening for him." He said. He felt angry at himself. "D.. do you want blood? I can get you some..." He said softly. A blood bag would have to do, it would work and help her complete the transition just as good as fresh human blood. "Only if you want it..." He said softly, he couldn't help but take the blame for everything that has happened.

Elena held the knife, staring at him with her mouth open. "Damon, I.. I can't." She stammered, she looked at the knife, then back at Damon. She then jsut sighed and nodded stiffly. "Fine." She said. After several hesitant minutes, she lunged at Damon with the knife, ending up in front of him, her arm behind her, the knife in his side.
