(Sorry for the wait. We had some storms..)
Callie sat in the back of her parents SUV as they drove toward the train station. Her long black hair was pinned neatly in the back and her uniform seemed to fit her perfectly. Her pale, delicate fingers caressed the leather book infront of her, The Sister's Book of Witchcraft. She smiled slightly and suddenly had to shove the book into her black book-bag when her mother turned around to her.
"Are you going to have fun this year, Sweetheart?" She asked with a smile, as she turned back to the road, watching where she was going.
Callie's dad then turned around. "With no calls home? No detentions? No bad things at all?" He added.
The girl smiled. "Don't worry. I'll be fine. It's going to be a clean-slate." Callie tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and looked out the window, holding her book-bag close to her. Her friends were the notorious 'freaks', always sneaking out after curfew into the woods. Callie didn't really find that freaky. It was just experimentation.
They were the last to the station, forcing Callie to say her quick goodbyes and make sure she had her ticket. She kissed her parents on the cheek and ran to the train, just making it in time. She jumped aboard, and was moved slightly as the train started to head out. Her brown eyes looked around. No empty seats, but one next to a blonde girl. She sighed. A newbie...Unwillingly, she went over to the compartment and knocked on the window. "Can I sit with you?" she asked.
