In a time were science and technology is king scientist have developed a way to detect and monitor the brainwave patterns that are associated with psychic abilities. Since then it has been a well known study to increase those brainwaves to invoke abilities in those they gathered, but soon there were children who started coming into there abilities naturaly, which posed a delimma for he scientists who knew these children couldn't be left to there own devices lest tragedy befall them. So under watch of the military there was a school put into place who gathers young psychics with great power and teach them to control and manifest there abilities.

After the Psychic academies were made there was agiant leap in the study of psychics, learning that each persons abilities vary, and they seem to take on elemental aspects. But with these leaps there thin became a race, for other countries had begun to make there own school, and in a world were knowledge is power, there soon began incidents where psychics have been used in terrorist acts upon other Academies around the globe. So know under secret the Schools fight to protect others from the threat of other powerful psychics.

Okay just so you know you will be people with varying psychic abilities and will be given the choice to either join the Psychic Academy or go it alone, which will put you against those in PA. Also have fun and be creative with your element and abilities (which have to be in the form of specific attacks. EXP: Element: Metal- power to control all forms of metal, Attack: Juggernaut- Psychic forms a shell of metal 'Armor' around there body thats nigh indestructible.). But keep in mind when making your 4 Special Attacks that the bigger the ability the more energy you will consume, and if you use to much you could lose control and fall into a coma.

Ash Radke: My Character

Name: Ash Radke
Age: 17

Element: Lightning

Special Attacks: Lightning Blade(From Naruto): A high concentration of electricity in Ash's hand, the high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping. Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and thrusts the lightning blade into the target. This produces heavy amounts of damage that is usually fatal. This technique is classified as an assassination technique because of the speed at which it is performed, despite the loud noise it produces.

This technique has a major drawback, however. The speed at which the attack must be done, combined with the fact that the user must run in a straight line, causes a tunnel vision-like effect for the user. This allows the enemy to easily counter the attack, making it a potentially lethal move for the user. As an additional drawback, the large amount of energy required limits the number of times this technique can be performed per day.

EMP: General EMP, disables an electricity-required object and disables it, while also disorienting enemies in the proximity of the blast.

Lightning Scythe: Ash can make two arcs f lightning, crossing each other and comin at the enemy at a high speed. Has a long range, but is inaccurate the longer it goes.

Lightning Barrier: Ash can make a thin wall of lightning, trapping anything in it with an electro-magnetic field and stopping it. Can only be used short amount of time and can break if enough force is applied.

Back Story: Ash had a very bad, difficult childhood from day one. He was born to a loving mother and father, and they both lived in New York all their lives. When Ash was born, their family was very much poor, and Ash was barely able to go to school, barely having a decent meal on the table... His parents treated him just like any other normal person, not showing kindness nor being mean to him, just respecting the fact that he was, indeed, their child.

When Ash was at the very young age of nine, Ash had just come back from school, walking down the alley on Christmas Eve, snow covering the city of New York when his parent's apartment burst into flames, killing eveyone in the building, including his parents. It was quite ironic, actually, as that day, Ash stood in the ash-plagued snow that covered the ground, the building almost completely disinagrating before him, firefighters and police scowering the scene.

Ash was never the same person that day... and he came to live at an orphanage for the remander of his childhood, being bullied and beaten by the kids there, Ash learned how to fight, run, hide, and all sorts of necessary skills in order to survive. One day, when Ash turned the age 17, a group of bullies pinned him down into a fight and beat him relentlessly, having no mercy on Ash. Beat and utterly sick of this cruel punishment. Ash decided to fight back, and injured many of the people there, the remainder of them backing off, since he was well more fit and combat orientated then any of them. After that day, Ash left the orphanage and lived on the streets of New York, trying to make a living out of the chaos that was his life, when he was eventually taken to the private school to become an elite military warrior.


Other: He has developed a somewhat carefree personality, trying to forget about his past, and is regularly late for appointments, making obvious excuses.This is often because he loses track of time. However, Ash is still just as apathetic, often speaking bluntly about sensitive topics.

Special Attacks:
Ether Cloud/Bullet- A cloud/bullet of pure energy, otherwise known as Ether, appears wherever Aaron can summon it in various densities and sizes. It's incredibly weak for an offensive move since Ether works more as a force and less like a power source such as its cousins Electricity and Fire. A blast can be summoned from the ground, a wall across the room, but it's easiest if summoned from his limbs. Once the blast is fired, it can be maneuvered and even turned around. If hit with one of his blasts, it could easily propel one across the room or knock them unconscious. Controlling more than one cloud/bullet at a time and sending them in opposite directions is incredibly difficult, but moving them as a fleet is simple.

Ether Shield- Aaron's Shield technique is his favorite. The Ether appears as a thin shield of colorful glass and can grow or shrink in size and be manipulated into various shapes as well. He can bring a dome over his head and protect he and his friends, an orb over his entire body to protect from a free fall, or summon a disc into thin air and soar across the sky. He can manipulate the moving Ether discs much easier than blasts of Ether. He can form them into complex shapes like artwork if given the practice. The shields are incredibly strong and seemingly impossible to break, however, he rarely has to make a shield much bigger than himself, so shielding things like a jet or a large expanse takes an extreme feat of energy.

Ether Goggles- It started as a bit of a joke. He was in class and learned that if done just right, he could summon a thin cloud of Ether around his (or anyone else's) eyes and see the energy lying within people. Though slightly ridiculous in looks, it gives him the sight to see certain things through walls; people, plants, animals, electric appliances etc..


Back Story: Aaron was born and raised in Texas. Having moved all about the state with his family as a young child, they started sending him to private school at 5. When he started high school at fourteen, his parents enrolled him in an all-boys Prep school. For two years, he was king. His teachers adored him, friends were few and far between because of his shyness, but he never really felt disliked. Aaron was more of a bookworm, but told he must play a sport, he chose to pick up archery and track, which he never left behind. He has a very steady and graceful hand and has even found himself enjoying working out in the gym.

Halfway through his sophomore year, he got in a fight with another student. The boy pushed Aaron and went to throw a right hook when he accidentally summoned a shield that caused the boy to injure his wrist. He proceeded to win the fight by throwing a punch that was lead by another shield. By the time it was over, Aaron didn't know what was happening. His hands were emitting a blueish cloud of smokey energy and his bully was on the floor wincing. A day later, his parents visited him at the school and he was promptly sent to a school for psychics. At the school he bloomed into an incredibly likable and popular person. Though he seemed to have the perfect, rich life on the outside, he always kept his friends at an arm's distance and never let anyone too close.

Other: Aaron's element is Ether. Ether isn't like your common elements, Earth, Fire, Air, Water. A thin cloud of it can pass through you with little resistance but a bullet would be less kind. It can be manipulated into solids, gasses, or liquids, but Aaron has yet to master its liquid form. It is a tricky element since nothing has a similar consistency; it's pure energy.

Element: Matter
Special Attacks:

Solidity: Guanshi can change the density of an object, switching it from its original 'state'. For example, a solid object such as a brick could become a liquid, or even gas. The farther from the state it is, the harder it is to switch it, i.e. solid to gas. Turning something into a liquid does not make it water, as that takes a much higher level of molecular reconstruction. If something is turned liquid, it is the same material, say solid steel to liquid steel, is still steel just free flowing.

Weight: Along with Solidity, Guanshi can also manipulate the weight of an object. This allows him to make something heavier or lighter. It does not make the object indestructible, just heavier. Same with objects he makes lighter.

Manipulation: This is not yet a learned power, but a power that is currently in the process of being developed by Guanshi. It is to manipulate/control the object in its 'state', say to move a rock with out touching, making water float, or a gust of wind.

Back Story: Guanshi Hao was born on the streets, and was given up by his mother to a church run orphanage. At the age of 5, the priests were nervous of the odd things that had been happening since his arrival. A door would become 5x its weight and near impossible to open on minute, the next it would swing open with out trouble, Hao's pillow some how being phased half way through the bed.
Even at a young age, Guanshi knew though they did not blame him, or even suspect him, where the power was from. As they had taken him in and treated him well, he did not want to cause them any more distress or inconveniences. So he left and was taken in by an older friend he had made on the streets during the days the Church old offer soup kitchen services. A 15 year old named Jibai. Jibai took him in and taught him how to survive on the streets, they both now live today. Having idolized Jibai for over half his life, Guanshi copies him in every way.

Other: Right now He is going it alone, I have not decided if he will yet join the PA. Unless you think it should be required he does so at such a young age.

Just because he is solid, does not mean he is unmovable, it just means there is a bit more force to his hits, won't break easily, etc. When he is solid, he does tend to move slower, as he is not as limber as when 'normal'. Vise versa for when he is gaseous, he tends to move faster. When more gaseous, objects can pass through him as they would air. He can not pass through other objects, but can fit into tiny cracks to move through.

Okay sweet umm...I think we need to change one thing, the fact of him turinging himself into things like gas and stuff like that gose alittle beyond the base of the psychic abilities. Messing with ones own body to manipulate it like that pulls up to many problems, at least in my mind.

But Now if you wanted to change it were he could manipulate matter and could turn it into Liquid, gases, solids, and even changing its density works for me, Like if he wanted to walk through walls he could turn a part of the wall into a gas and walk right through, turning it back into a wall after passed, same with if you wanted to turn a car into a puddle of water.

This is all possable since your power can affect things on the molecular level, so in theory what you are doing is just changing molecules around to get an effect. But of course as molecules get more complex it will become harder to manipulate, so as were turning a simple brick wall into a softer form (allowing one to pass unharmed) would be easy, using against steel or altering multiple things at one time (even the human body) would be taxing.

This is neat to me though cause you could do things like form solid weapons out of liquids or even gases and dust as long as theres enough in the air to do it as well as you having the energy to do it.....I hope this all makes sence I havnt slept in 2 days lol.
