Lucky Rainbow Teddy Bear Apocalypse

Lots of people have gathered into the K-Mart store to seek shelter from the beasts outside. Cella being among them. The store was crowded, and there were more people outside still trying to break in even though the doors had been barricaded. So far only a handful of the Lucky Rainbow Teddy Bears have made it near the store, but fortunately their attention was toward the people outside. Also fortunately, more of the havoc was across the street than in the K-Mart parking lot. Across the road was a golf course. Not only were they nimble enough to jump onto a person's face in an instant, despite those short stubby little plush legs they had, but they were also dangerous enough to eat those people's faces with their own little jaws. Yes, they were cute until they opened their mouths.

And not only did they attack many innocent golfers directly, but somehow the little beasts managed to start fires around the main entrance/exit. "Clever little monsters, aren't they?" Cella mused, talking to no one in particular. "They must've known that would be the first place the people there would go to escape." Such cruelty from such adorable creatures was one thing, but it was the intelligence behind their sadistic glass eyes that made her shudder.

But at the same time she was glad that the store manager thought to turn off all the lights in the store. That would mean less attention being drawn to the store. But then there were still the people outside trying to find a way in. And a lot of them had cars in the lot. One of the bears had leapt onto a woman out in the lot. She only had fifteen seconds to scream before her face had been eaten away completely. Not even bothering to wipe its mouth, the green teddy bear stepped down from its meal and moved onto the next.

Cella reached into a box of cereal she had swiped from a food shelf earlier and nibble on some. It was not like the management would kick a person out for stealing. Even the employees (as well as some managers (no, as well as everybody)) were grabbing all the supplies they could for themselves in a big, wild free-for all earlier. Much of that chaos was over, at least. Not all of it, but most of it. The worst of it was in the back of the store where people were fighting over the guns in the sporting goods section. Some have armed themselves with hunting knives, bows and arrows, golf clubs, baseball bats, skiing prods, even various cheap makeshift weapons.

From that whole rampage, Cella was lucky enough to obtain a rifle with a box of bullets. She also had a small pocket knife in her purse, which, unfortunately, was stolen by someone in the crowd. She did not even see who took it. But she at least had the rifle. She did not know how to use it, though, nor if she even had the right ammunition for it. She was still trying to figure out how to load it.

But she was better off than that boy by the register. All he could obtain was a plunger and a scraping tool he stole from one of the janitors. A tiny rusty blade like that was not going to defend him from a teddy bear. And what was he going to do with the plunger? Clean the bears' ears out? Sure it was not much, but at least he had something.

Everybody needed something, but most people did not. It was only a matter of moments before somebody came crashing into the store to cause more mayhem, whether it be those monstrous bears or more people.

Ald was stuck in the crowd trying to break down the doors to K-mart.

"Please people! We have to find a different place, cant you see that us all gathered together out here in the open is only attracting more attention?"

Of course, no one listened. There was no time for logic in a state of panic. Well for the ignorant that is.

The green teddy bear lunged at Ald, but with a quick unsheathe of his katana, cotton and innards of the bear scattered the floor. Ald butchered the remaining pieces of the bear's corpse to ensure it was dead.

"It's no use..." He muttered sadly. He left to the back of the crowd. He could see some other bears advancing in and decided he needed to get out. Running around to the side of K-mart, he climbed up a gutter to the roof and watched.

Alas on the roof its not any safer do to the teddy bears are up on the roof aswell but atleast theres someone fighting them so they don't enter the vents the guy was singing some foreign song as he was fighting the Teddybears one

At the piont when a rainbow colored teddybear bitten this one human thinking put his hands together then pulling them a part causing a arc of electrical power to fry the bear making the others back off abit without turning this human said''hey new guy lend a hand please''he knew it was a human that made it on the ruff by the sounds the human made coming up ''btw names Gai''

Ald's hand instinctively went for the hilt of his katana. With a quick motion he unsheathed the long black blade butchering a bear.

"I swear, there's just no place to rest these days." He muttered. "And my name is Aldalon, nice to meet you Gai."

Ald was too caught up in fighting the bears he decided not to mention Gai's electric powers.

''Agreed ''Gai was having fun punching,kicking and once in awhile frying a bear also tazing them''So hows school for one now?''Gai asked still fighting trying to make small talk and sense he recognized the school uniform sense its one near his school he thought make a crack sense technically there skipping school

"Meh, s'all right i suppose. Homework's still a pain like always. There's just no escaping that. Got a project due Monday, but i think i feel like skipping." With a well aimed clean cut, Ald managed to cut straight through a bear's head, shattering both glass eyes at once. "Alright, you know enough about me, whats up with you and electricity?"

Gai stomped a teddybears head in starting to get in a defense stance so he can block and deflect attacks as he talks''Ever hear of the advent in Dakota years ago called the big bang or ever hear of bang babys?''its obvious if Aldalon doesn't know of them hes going to get a summery of it and why he brought it up

"No i dont recall," Ald said slowly backing up realizing he was not swinging more defensive strikes than offensive. "Tell me, what is it? What ever happened, i want some of it."

Gai laughed abit at Ald wanting some''it was a advent where some chemical was release thanks to a gang war it mutated peoples there dna in one way or another superpowered humans simply my father was Dakota's hero static I inherited his metahuman genes only extremely weaker''Once he was done explaining went back on the offense but the bears are now adjusted to there fighting.

"Dang..." Ald said, "So much for getting super powers."

He backed up a bit so that he was back to back with Gai. Ald examined his blade, covered in cotton and ripped cloth. With a flick of his Katana, the stuffing splattered on the ground and Ald readied himself, raising his blade to a fighting stance.

"You sure can hold your own. I cant tell you how many idiots ive seen around here getting the jump by a single bear."
