@Generic hmm, ok, so rather than literally erasing the sound he produces completely, it just muffles it, so a normal Head would not be able to hear him, but one who excels in detection would? If so then that is acceptable, just replace 'silently' with 'quietly', and maybe specify that while possible to detect him, it would take someone with capabilities beyond even a normal Head. Also, I noticed that you said it gave him great speed, if you are referring to movement speed then i would like you to take that out (someone sprinting at mach speed should still be producing considerable noise lol), if you meant striking/attacking speed though, then that is fine, but you sould specify as such, and maybe he should only get the striking speed boost (i'm assuming this is like vergil/Ishida mitsunari draw-striker levels of speed here) if he hasn't yet been detected by the enemy? something that should be easy enough with his ninja fighting style and camouflage ability that you added in there (nice touch btw). no need to make any alterations to his agility and precision stat boosts.
so yeah, if you make those alterations to the serpent's vigor ability and write up an acceptable history, I see no reason why he shouldn't be accepted ^^
@darkmarshal I want to say yes, i really do, but you have to remember hat this is one of the 11 weapons created especially to defeat muramasa and his demon warriors, so it would practically take a muramasa, or near-muramasa leveled demon to be able to corrupt one of these weapons. Plus, if her family had let something like that happen to one of the sacred weapons that guarded the entrance to Masamune's batleground, they would be dishonored, probably hunted down by some of the families, depending on their level of involvement with the demonizaton of the weapon, and no longer considered one of the 10 families... tell you what though. I see some really good potential for this kind of character so I'm not gonna say ether yes or no. Show me what you can come up with, how creative you can be and if you can prevent the weapon from becoming op because of the demonization, and ,if I like what i see, i'll allow it, sound fair? My suggestion, use the demonization as the reason why the family left japan to go establish themselves in Sweden, so as to hide the fact that they let such a horrible thing happen. Also, if your character uses a lade possessed by such a strong demon, I'd like to see that reflected in the character herself (and bonus if you show its effects on her family as well). Since she IS a descendant of a disciple, she can be expected t have at least some resistance to demonic influence on her heart and soul, so no need to make her a blood-hungry raving lunatic (though go ahead and do so if you want, those chars are always fun lol), but as stated i would like to see her personality affected by the demonic weapon at least somewhat, how you chose to represent that (maybe she has a really sensitive berserk button, or a super powered evil side, or just has a hard time controlling her killing instincts or whatever else you think of) is up to you.
as for what you have down already, well, kudos on having a woman using a claymore, that's pretty rare for characters. and, well, yeah, there's not very much i can say since i imagine you'll be doing lots of changes to her personality and updating her history if you decide to make her weapon possessed.
@kestrel finally getting to you. so. Uhm. yeah, you're gonna need to give me some specifics on what the deal is with your character. While I don't exactly mind an amnesiac, I kind of need to know why it is that he lost his memory, and how the yakuza group the found him, well, found him. Also, the first guys that he worked for were THEY one of the actual 10 families, and thus that is why they had the naginata and were so interested in him? knowing that he was somehow destined to be their next head?
if that is teh case, i can't exactly allow them being killed off and replaced by some other group who then took control of the naginata. the other 9 families would never let that happen, if only for that fact that ONLY people who are descendants of the disciples are allowed to guard the 10 key weapons.
If that is not teh case, how exactly did these yakuza guys get their hands on one of the 10 weapons without the 10 families noticing? You'll have to come up with a really good explanation since, as i stated before, there have to be 10 families and 10 heads, so the family that is missing their weapon would be under a LOT of pressure to find the weapon that was taken from them, as well as their missing (and apparently amnesiac) next head. and they would be getting help from the other 9 families, which includes mine and generics' who are both stated to be financially and politically powerful, and generics is involved with teh criminal underworld on top of this. so yeah, these guys would have to be pretty damn slick to evade detection yanno. and i'd also need to knwo what their motives would be for stealing teh weapon and (presumedly() kidnaping the head, since normal people shouldn't know the specifics about Masamune and Muramasa.
so all in all I'm not saying that you have to erase you character and start from scratch, just saying that you need to give up a lot of clarification on him for me to accept that kind of char since it's so at odds with the pre-established setting, as he is right now.
as for his ability to use other weapons, I am ok with that on some level, but realize that the other heads have probably all spent all of their lives practicing with their inherited weapon and their inherited weapon only. So if you want to tell me that your character spent some time practicing with other weapons enough that he would be proficient enough to use them in a combat situation, realize that for each weapon he spent time training with, that will make him comparatively weaker at using his inherited weapon and its abilities than the rest of he heads, it's a 'jack of all trades, master of none' scenario. on that same note, i'm gonna have to ask you to tune down his power's effectiveness. While 'my power is to take away your powers' characters are indeed cool, and work great for manga, anime and other stories, they essentially defeat the purpose in an rp like this if they can just arbitrarily take away everyone's powers, so please scale it back to him being able to seal away the powers of only 1 other character at a time.
lastly, you mentioned he was proficient with firearms. well, linking into what i said earlier about mixed proficiencies, you're gonna have to list which kinds of firearms he has actually had training with, firing a handgun, a sub-machine gun, an assault rifle, a shotgun, and a sniper rifle, are all very different things that need very different training to use effectively. if you just say firearms generally, then you're saying that he has split his training seven ways between his naginata, his katana, handguns, sub-machine guns, shot guns, assault rifles and sniper rifles. I'm sure you don't want to be only 1/7 as proficient at using your inherited weapon than everybody else, so i will need some specifications thank you.
