I think people get caught off-guard and are immediately defensive. Kind of a reflex. They keep it going and try to bluster their way out of it to earn cred, but usually it seems to fail.Why does everyone come in here and the first thing they do is act like an ass? It is old, tiring to deal with, and generally won't make you very well liked when people know little to nothing about you.
For the record, you probably think you know what the Spam Section is. In reality, you probably only know what you see on the surface, that is to say nothing that is minutely accurate.
