Days had pass and thankfully Caroline and Jake had butted out of their lives for the mean time Luca had been busy helping Elizabeth with getting her caught up in school credits so she would be able to graduate with the gang. He has also been doing extra shifts lately at work to save up extra money and he has also found out his mother had left a will saying that she wanted him to take over her business that involved Music and restaurants, though to his surprise the restaurant he works at is one of the main ones his mothers company owned. So he has also been learning to take over the business once he graduated high school. As the days went on the closer it got to James birthday. Tomorrow was the big day and Luca had already done some birthday shopping and set up the perfect place to have a birthday tomorrow. Luca put James to bed early since James was worn out already then he spent some time with Liz watching a movie on the couch. "Man can't believe James birthday is tomorrow hope he likes what we have planned for him tomorrow and good thing his birthday is on the weekend also." Luca laughed as he kissed Liz cheek.

Elisabeth was thankful that Caroline and Jake stayed out of their lives...for now. Elisabeth worked hard with Luca so that she would be able to graduate with them. She hoped she had done enough to do so. Days had passed and it was already James birthday, well tomorrow it was. She couldn't wait, he was turning three and has already been doing great with his talking. She smiled and sat on the couch with Luca. "Yea I know, he's going to be three I can't believe it" she said with a smile as she sat next to him. "I hope he likes it too, though I'm sure he would"

"He will and I am sure he will be happy to see Abigail again." Luca said with a smile and held Liz tight. "Though I am really happy I get to be apart of his third birthday." He said rubbing her left hand a little. "Hey I have a surprise for you so close your eyes alright." Luca said and once he knew her eyes were closed he placed a simple purple stone ring on her ring finger. "Keep this ring until it can become something more one day because I want you to be apart of my life forever and no one I mean no one is going to take me away from you or you away from me and especially James too." Luca said with a soft smile on his face.

"Yea they haven't seen each other in a while" she said with a smile. He then told her he had a surprise she was slightly confused and then closed her eyes. She looked at the ring them up at him with a smile. "I know nothing will take you away" she said with a smile as she just hugged him. She didn't want to let go but she knew they were both getting tired. "Well, do you want to put in another movie, or go to bed?" she asked looking at him after pulling away from the hug.

Luca kissed her lips and smiled. "Lets get some sleep we have a big day tomorrow getting things ready for James party." Luca said and decided to have a litte fun and pick her up bridal style. "So let's get you to bed then I will get some sleep." He laughed as he carried her to her room and placed her on her bed. "There we go all snugged in your bed." He said as he kissed her forehead. "Get some rest princess and I will see you in the morning." SHe smiled as he left her room to get things cleaned in the other room before he got settles for bed.

Elisabeth smiled and laughed when he picked her up bridal style. She hug onto his neck but lightly. She smiled looking up at him, "Goodnight" she said before then falling asleep a little while after.

Morning came really fast and James was a fireball in the morning after Luca got him out of his bed. "Calm down birthday boy the special birthday pancakes are almost done." Luca said laughing at the very excited little boy who was playing with his new toy that Luca bought him. Luca soon finished breakfast and placed it on the table. "Ok breakfast is ready come and get it." He siad out loud and James came running to the table and was caught by Luca. "Got you birthday boy." He laughed and sat him down.

Elisabeth woke up still in her night clothes. She rubbed her eyes and walked into the kitchen. "Morning" she said with a yawn and smiled. "Hows my little birthday boy?" she asked will rubbing his hair then sat down next to Luca.

"James is a fireball right now he has been running all over the apartment saying that it is his birthday over and over along with playing with his new birthday present." Luca said as he places a plate of his special birthday pancakes in front of James and watched him chow down which made Luca laughed. "How did you sleep princess?" Luca asked as he ate his breakfast and trying to get James to slow down.
