IC Thread
Twelve very special children have been training since they were eight years old. What have they been training for? They’ve been training to become Guardians – Of the world. It has been said that a great evil will arise and attempt to use them and their Legendary guides as tools. Tools to stealing Artifacts of Arceus and then to control the world and all who reside in it. What do they seek the most, though? They seek Arceus’ Mystic Shards. The Shards that created all Pokemon. There are more out there, oh yes there are. And with them, much can be done with them.
Nearly thirteen years has passed since the first Chosen Ones entered the village hidden within Pinwheel Forest. What have these kids been doing? They’ve been training along their Mentors and Guardians to become all that they could be – Some longer than others. They’ve become a family (some a little closer than just that). They haven’t been locked away, oh no. They’ve been allowed to live outside of and venture outside of the village and play an active role in society - Though they’ve always had a Mentor nearby. They’ve traveled with each other and witnessed the evil doings of Team Mystic – Even struck back a few times. But the time has come now that they will be deemed ready. Ready to leave the village and complete the tasks at hand:
- Locate and keep safe all of the Mystic Shards
- Locate the Sword of the Vale and ensure it’s safety
- Right the wrongs done by Team Mystic wherever their travels take them
- Bring down Team Mystic
A special ceremony will be held for them before they are sent off. They will work their way through the places in the Unova region and finally make it to Kanto where it is said Team Mystic has made their Headquarters. They’ve got all the time in the world, because they can’t move too fast. If they do, they will be found out by Team Mystic and their quest will only become harder. A journey to discover themselves, forge deeper relationships with one another, and save the world. What more could a kid ask for?
Information
There was once a legend that existed among Pokémon.
Perhaps you might have heard it.
Maybe you haven't.
"Which legend", you ask? Well, it is the legend you might be connected to. So I suppose it is your right to know.
In the beginning, when upon the Earth there was but a small landmass and a large sea - There was but one Pokémon among humans: Arceus.
Arceus grew lonely, and therefore created 17 shards which represented each Type known today. Those 17 broke into several more shards, some even merged with others creating Dual Types. These many shards birthed the Pokémon you all know today. Arceus then created the last shards - some of which became 'Legendary Pokémon' with the duty of being Guardians to nature and Pokémon, helping to expand Earth before going their separate ways.
However, some of those last shards have actually been said to have been carried and protected by Legendaries until the ones of Prophecy would arrive. These shards did not become Pokémon. Twelve Legendaries visited twelve infants in the secrecy of night, bestowing upon them their shards. These shards were said to give special capabilities. Such as telepathic communication with their Pokémon, understanding of Pokémon speech, and most are determined to be destined with that Type. But not just destined to be with - to become their Guardians. And one day save them all. After the last shards, Arceus was unable to create more. After some time, Arceus all but disappeared.
Over time - History became myth to most. Legendary Pokémon who were supposed to guard nature often fought, wreaking havoc and Evil groups arose and began exploiting Pokémon. The story of Chosen Ones was claimed to be a hoax and a silly bedtime stories made up by Jigglypuffs.
Those who believe in these Guardians. These Chosen. They pray that they realize their destinies soon and right the world.
There are but twelve humans who were chosen to be children of Arceus. All of whom will be saviors and guardians to Pokémon and human alike. Guarded and guided, destined to be with a Protector. Their lives intwined with their Type. It is said that they will be extraordinary. They will understand our language and speak to our minds.
Near the days when a terrible evil shall threaten all, these Chosen will be gathered to realize their destinies and finally become one with their Pokémon. They will save us all from an era of unrelenting darkness and chaos.
The Dragon. The Grass. The Psychic. The Flying. The Water. The Fire. One the eve of their eighth birthday, their Guardian will come for them. They will be trained together as a family. When they are ready, they will venture out into the world and they will right the wrongs one at a time and find Arceus' treasures before finally facing the Great Evil.
The Chosen Ones
Humans with a hand-given destiny by Arceus to save the world.
Team Mystic
The "evil" side of the war, apparently. They want to capture The Chosen Ones to help them recruit Pokemon and find Arceus' treasures.
The War
Team Mystic has been using their Pokémon to abuse humans and mutants alike, greedy for rare Pokémon and treasures. They've recently discovered information regarding the Mystic Shards and The Chosen Ones and now seek to possess them. Their abuse has grown as they stop at nothing to find these Chosen Ones.
Arceus Treasures
The very last shards, larger than the rest. Its rumored that they can create new Pokémon and even open doors to other dimensions. Hidden by Arceus - Only the Chosen Ones have an idea of where they could be. They ofen have dreams showing fleeting images of the shards' whereabouts. There is also the Sword of the Vale of which Team Mystic wishes to use to control the Dragon Force. No-one knows where it is now, but the Chosen Ones often see fleeting glimpses of it in their dreams just as much as the Mystic Shards.
Pokemon
The Chosen Ones can only capture Pokemon that correspond with their Type. For now. They have an intense bond with Pokemon of their Type and literally have never felt the need to capture a Pokemon of any other Type. The ability to capture other Pokemon Types will be introduced later. What happens if they try to capture a Pokemon not their Type, you ask? Their Pokeball simply won't work at all. What happens if their Pokemon will evolve into something that isn't their corresponding type anymore? They won't evolve. The trainer can choose to let it evolve, but they will no longer own it - The Ownership seal from the Pokeball will break.
Communication
All Chosen Ones can use telepathy with their Pokémon. And you can only catch Pokémon of your Chosen Type. Chosen Ones can understand all Pokémon when they speak - Not just their own. Telepathic communication works as: Bond between Pokémon and person or Pokémon is captured.
These trainers are such dedicated battlers that they have studied how to maximize battle experience. They can maximize their pokémon’s attacks and find weaknesses in a foe’s pokémon normally immune or resistant to their pokémon’s attacks. They teach their pokémon as much as they learn from each of their pokémon’s battles. Each battle is filled with passion and each pokémon trained by an Ace Trainer can realize their full battle potential and be the very best.
Ace Trainer Classes
Stat Ace
These Ace Trainers hold loyalties only to ability. They find pokemon who are the fastest, or the strongest, or the smartest and then, the Stat Ace further improves those superior abilities. The Stat Ace can bring a slow pokemon up to speed, or make a weak skinned pokemon have an iron-plated body. Their abilities in bringing out a specific skill of a pokemon are unparalleled. No other Ace Trainer can make a Slowbro out run a Shedinja.
Tag Battler
Tag Battlers can multitask and keep track of multiple pokemon to attain victory. They make their pokemon work not only as a team, but as one combined unit that can defeat any amount of foes they come up against. Each of their pokemon blend well with each of their other pokemon and together they can end all foes.
Underdog
For various reasons, some trainers don’t like giant bulky pokémon. Underdogs recognize the power in their unevolved pokemon, and prefer that their Totodile never become a Croconaw, they like carrying it around on their back. However, they are Ace Trainers, so they can still bring out the very best in their little allies, to defeat anything twice, three times, or ten times their size.
Some trainers realize the value of raising a pokemon from a young age in order to build a better bond with their allies and friends. Breeders emphasize the importance of raising a pokemon from birth, not as a friend, but as their own children. Breeders hatch eggs very quickly and can actually coerce their pokemon to produce multiple eggs. The most noticeable talent a breeder shows is the fact that their pokemon are naturally born with more power then the average pokemon. Some even grow more powerful then any other in its species. Their pokemon are born with the courage and strength to pull them through any situation.
Breeder Classes
Botanist
The Botanist is a Breeder who finds joy not only in raising Pokemon, but in raising plant life as well. They find way to grow plants that are larger then those grown in the wild, more potent and best of all, more flavorful.
Chef
The Chef is a talented culinary master. This Breeder loves to make food for their friends and their pokemon. They are talented poffin mixers, making high level cakes not even a full team of mixers could make. They are also talented poke block crushers, making vitamins unlike any a normal trainer would make. Food comes easy for a team traveling with a Chef; they can use the world around them to provide for everyone.
Evolver
Some Breeders intuitively know what kind of motivation a pokemon needs to evolve a pokemon at an unnaturally low level of power. The Evolver can coerce their pokemon to grow up at a young age and allow a pokemon to rapidly reach its final level of evolution, increasing its basic level of power without putting as much time into a particular pokemon that a normal trainer would. It is through evolution that a pokemon can reach full maturity; the most mature pokemon make the best partners.
Groomer
Some Breeders take interest in pokemon contests. A Groomer can prepare their pokemon for a contest and even defeat an inexperienced Coordinator because of it. In addition to preparing pokemon for a debut on stage, their grooming techniques greatly increase the happiness of their pokemon, or any pokemon they
practice on.
Hatcher
The Hatcher takes a great deal of pride in their pokemon’s eggs. They practice warming eggs in an unrivaled fashion, which can hatch a newly acquired egg in less than a few days. Their care for their eggs greatly influence the potential of their baby pokemon and can prove to make the Breeder’s babies greatly stronger as they grow up.
Medic
When battling, a pokemon is commonly injured which requires a visit to a pokemon center shortly afterward. Breeders who start practicing basic medical work can find a warm welcome to any traveling party. Routes that last a few days can see no form of medical attention for a trainer’s pokemon, which can potentially kill a severally poisoned or injured pokemon. A Medic can treat wounded and afflicted pokemon at the cost of some medical supplies and herbs that earth gives them from the surrounding area.
Move Tutor
It is not common knowledge how Technical Machines came to be. The Move Tutor is aware of their origin and can use their knowledge to push their pokemon into learning a move, normally only learned through the injection of a TM, during level up. Even further, a pokemon may learn a move, which it is undocumented to have learned when trained by this variety of Breeder. It can be a deadly surprise to encounter a foes’ Charizard who suddenly lets loose a Water Pulse from its mouth.
The capture specialist is a talented mechanic. They intimately know the technology implemented in any type of Poke Ball and can improve their capture rates with a small bit of tweaking. Even after a wild pokemon breaks out of a poke ball after a failed attempt at capture, a Capture Specialist can quickly rebuild a poke ball with very little effort or expense. A Capture Specialist’s natural and one true calling is finding every wild and adding them to his or her collection. The mastery of poke ball knowledge makes it easier for a Capture Specialist to catch them all.
Capture Specialist Classes
Apricorn Smith
Capture Specialists all know the origin of the Pokéball. Apricorns are fruit with reflective skins that served as the first modern Pokéballs. An Apricorn Smith utilizes his knowledge to make various Pokéballs at a much cheaper price then a Poké Mart would offer. With the access to all of the self made Pokéballs a Smith does, it’s much easier to catch many pokemon.
Artificer
The Artificer is an inventive Capture Specialist who creates items for pokemon to hold, or use in battle. They ensure their pokemon an extra boost in power, or a special consumable that can heal pokemon in different situations. From vision improving goggles to bands which increase experience gain, the Artificer can make it all to help catch it all.
Collector
The Collector needs to catch them all. This Capture Specialist doesn’t dream of the Pokemon League or any spotlight on stage, they have a list of pokemon that exist and they need to capture every single one. They utilize their desire to capture everything to improve their rate of capture but even after they’ve checked a monster off their list, they can’t stop until they have each and every different species.
Engineer
An Engineer expands their technological ability to machinery larger then a Pokéball. They create their own equipment to better help them through the world. They can modify the Pokedex, improve PC abilities and even create vehicles. It is through the Engineer that technological advances are made. The inventors of the Pokemon world need to find ideas somewhere, while traveling the world many new machines can easily come to mind.
Pokéball Designer
A Capture Specialist sometimes focuses on the technology aspect of their profession. A Pokéball Designer is an inventor who comes up with his or her own original Pokéball designs and properties.
Some trainers may battle against other trainers in a competition of appearance rather then strength. As shallow as some may view this practice, only a truly talented Coordinator can make an ugly Feebas win a competition of beauty. Coordinators know the natural advantages of appearance and can some times convince a judge to award them victory before they’ve even entered a competition. This isn’t any different in a battle; just viewing a well-trained pokemon owned by a coordinator may intimidate some pokemon. Coordinators value the importance of monetary gain and use their pokemon to ensure a constant cash flow through contests. They can’t be denied their Ribbons.

Beauty Model
A gorgeous, Beauty variety of trainer, these types of Coordinator practice showing off how stunning their pokemon appear.
Cool Trainer
A laid back, Cool variety of trainer, these types of Coordinator practice showing off how chill and awesome their pokemon can be.
Cute Idol
An adorable, Cute variety of trainer, these types of Coordinator practice showing off how super kawaii their adorable little monsters are.
Fashion Designer
Some Coordinators don’t want all the glory for themselves; the Fashion Designer could care less which pokemon wins, as long as they won wearing their accessories. They make outfits and accessories for their ally’s pokemon, and share the contest stage with them, giving them opportunity to win a Ribbon or two. It’s always nice to help out your fellow trainer.
Investor
Some parents have brought up the Investor as someone meant to show great things, on the stage of contests. Their family has long line of great Coordinators who have left their entire trust funds to you – if you win contests. Investors receive a great deal of extra funds whenever they win a contest and can afford a great deal of extra pampering for their contest winners because of it.
Smart Teacher
A geeky, Smart variety of trainer, these types of Coordinator practice showing off how intelligent their pokemon seem.
Tough Guy
A strong, Tough type of trainer, these types of Coordinator practice showing off how macho their pokemon are.
Some trainers physically exceed some pokemon in hand-to-hand combat. Their mastery of the Martial Artist is unparalleled by the untrained, random attempts of assault performed by any other trainer. They can take out other trainers with little effort, and their pokemon benefit from their exploits as well. The Martial Artist has a natural affinity for the Fighting, Steel, Rock and Ground types of pokemon and can better train them to use their attack to their full potential.
Martial Artist Classes
Aura User
A trainer who becomes one with the world surrounding them can use Aura. A Martial Artist who can read the psychological auras of strangers can know the intentions of a person without any conversation. They can emit bursts of energy, and create force fields around their body. An Aura User also has the ability to hear the thoughts of other who want their thoughts to be heard by the Aura User. The Aura User is a rarity in the pokemon world, a blessing in any traveling party.
Black Belt
(Pick which Martial Art they've mastered - Just 1)
At the top of every martial art is the Black Belt, the finest fighters of their respective martial art. The Martial Artist who reaches this pinnacle of talent can easily combat any other trainer, and possibly powerful pokemon.
Juggler
The Juggler takes their dexterity to the streets to make some monetary gain. They perform tricks that involve slight of hand and are excellent street scammers. This may seem like abilities unrelated to pokemon training, but while battling those quick fingers can turn into a quickly delivered potion – from across the field. Even switching pokemon can be done in a few seconds when this Martial Artist is battling. With a keen eye and attention to how any situation, or any thing, is always handled well by the Juggler.
Massage Therapist
When a Martial Artist studies all of the pressure points on a human being, they can therapeutically relax that friend with massage. With further study, they can master those pressure points on a pokemon. This is useful to increase the happiness of a pokemon or relax them before a contest. Due to most pokemon evolving based on their relationship with their trainer, the Massage Therapist is key to building a bond between pokemon and trainer.
Ninja
These Martial Artists do not rely on the straight-forward, brute-force combat of other paths. Instead, the Ninja refine themselves with training in potent poisons that can bring the strong to their knees, the speed to evade the most dangerous of assaults, the use of dangerous traps, and the art of stealth. Combined, these turn them into deadly, feared warriors.
Weapons Master
The Weapons Master is a deadly Martial Artist who uses weapons as an extension of their body. They can use various bladed, blunt, or pointed weapons to improve the damage they deal to foes. It would be nearly impossible for another trainer untrained in such arts to take on a Weapons Master without their pokemon’s help.
(Exclusive to the Psychic Chosen Ones)
Not every human in the Pokemon World is born with equal natural abilities. Psychics are born with supernatural powers. Psychics have a natural affinity for the Dark, Ghost, and Psychic type pokemon. They can telekinetically move objects and telepathically enter the minds of others. They can emphatically figure out exactly what their pokemon need, telepathically negotiate with people or enter the minds of pokemon to communicate with the wild itself.
Psychic Classes
Clairsentient
Telepaths who can enter the philosophical mind of the inanimate are weird in ways unlike any other Psychic. The Clairsentient can look at an item and know its history in the past hour, day or even week. They can stand on a spot of land and realize what stepped over it recently, then follow the ghost of what was there. With their excellent detective powers, they can be a handy utility on any team.
Empath
The Empath is a highly sought after traveling partner in the Pokemon world for healing, understanding, or guidance. Empaths can actually read the minds of pokemon, and through this medium communicate with their allies and friends. Empaths can feel what others feel and relieve pain in pokemon and humans, by physically healing with their psychic abilities, or sharing the burden with them.
Fire Breather
These Psychics can hone their telekinesis to ignite oxygen in the air and turn it into fire. A Fire Breather is both pyrokinetic and photokinetic. Pyrokinesis is the ability to create and control fire mentally while photokinesis is the ability to create and control light.
Hex Maniac
This Psychic is a medium who can spiritually summon the aspect of affliction to cast status effects on a wild pokemon. The Hex Maniac can also target other humans, inflicting curses, confusion, or sleep on another human being. They are considered recluses by most because of their mental state that is influenced by the spirits they summon but it is their eccentric abilities that can help their party capture any target.

While most trainers aim to be the best, Researchers aim to know the most. While they lack the physical advantage other trainers might, they have studied for many years prior to the beginning of their journey and have retained a vast amount of knowledge relating to most pokemon all over the world. They know many things relating to a pokemon’s natural moveset, their habitat, and even the location of several pokemon – just by name. A powerful trainer can help a pokemon find the power that’s inside; a Researcher knows the power that’s inside before he or she even captures a pokemon.
Researcher Classes
Petrologist
Researchers who master petrology are rare item hunters. They can find areas where wild pokemon will yield more items drops. The Petrologist is also an expert excavator. They can dig up evolutionary stones, fossils, or various rare items found underground. In addition to their vast knowledge in the finding and use of these rare items, they are also very adept explorers underground, in caves and in ancient ruins. This variety of
Researcher is very useful for the navigation of land.
Photographer
This Researcher can take pictures of wild pokemon in their natural habitat, to capture the nature and habits of a pokemon in their frame. Even if people are surrounded in day-to-day life by Pokemon, the Photographer knows there’s always value in being able to capture them in photos. Whether using their photos as a steady income to supplement their research, or using them to study battle techniques to the point of imitation, the photographer’s sharp eyes pay off.
Professor
The Professor is a Researcher who has mastered the knowledge surrounding all pokemon known to the masses. They can identify things about a pokemon such as its level of power, its complete move set, its specific home’s location or anything else factual about a pokemon with less then a glance at its silhouette. Professors are unparalleled kings of intelligence and use their vast amount of knowledge proves it. They are unrivalled field commanders and utilize their strategy to ensure their party’s victory.
Scientist
A Researcher who practices the creation of various concoctions is a Scientist. They mix various materials together to make repels, potions, and other items used for whatever they can think up. A Scientist doesn’t always have the right materials for their desired product, but maybe a few experiments will prove to create a new potion unlike any seen before.
Watcher
The pokemon Watcher is a Researcher very in tune with a pokemon’s natural habitat. They can identify facts about a wild pokemon’s living conditions such as the amount of pokemon they live with, which nearby spot yields those family members and how easily they can tackle the foe at hand, just by looking at the wild pokemon. Another talent a watcher has, unseen in any other trainer type, is that ability to locate and track down shiny pokemon who make great pageant competitors or grand auction items.
- Professionalism. This RP is intended for those who are able to make and bring a good story to an end, as such we expect each player to have a certain level of professionalism, present original and interesting characters, contribute to the story and not drop-out without even notifying. This is not Advanced so we are certainly going to take things in a more relaxed pace but this is also "High"Casual so a certain level of seriousness is expected.
- The decisions taken throughout the story will influence and affect the world around our characters. Every major choice has a consequence and will count towards the different endings.
- This RP is intended to be somewhere around 17+ as such romance, gore and tasteful "adult" situations are accepted. What that basicaly means is that you are allowed to hint towards "steamy-romantic-situations" but nothing more, should you want to...emm... engage into detail then take that to the PMs. Blood, gore and violence is allowed at just about any levels as long as you don't exagerate. Strong language is also allowed but again, don't overkill.
- Stay civil on the OoC thread - All personal spats should be taken to PMs.
- No metagaming, mixing, auto-hitting, or godmoding. Its unattractive.
- Keep IC posts detailed - 2 or more paragraphs of detail with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Try to refrain from multiple short sentences containing six or less words. Also make sure to read everyone's posts and reply in accordance to whatever may pertain to your character. Also: When posting, don't post a bunch of meaningless BS just to take up word space.
- Don't post multiple times within a small time frame for dialogue - Collaborate with the other player(s) in RPG Write and post the Character Interaction as one post. This is not a race to see who can post before everyone else, so I suggest that there should be at least one post from each other Player between your last post and your next.
- Be active both In Character and Out of Character. I understand that you've got a life behind your screen to attend to and shit happens. But I seek active players. Don't apply to this RolePlay if you won't be able to keep committed to it. If you think that you might get 1/3 into the story and then lose interest, don't apply. If you're going to be gone for 4+ days, let someone know beforehand - I suggest that in the case of your extended absence, you should designate another player that you think would do well to play your character until your return. If you suddenly lose interest, don't just dip out and leave your character here. If you feel things have gotten boring, say so and we'll liven things up. If you absolutely do not want to stay, then please say so.
- Please try to be original and creative when making your character and don't make a Mary-Sue or a Gary-Stu. Your characters have to have some sort of flaws; Be it emotional, physical, mental, or psychological.
- Just because someone has called dibs or asked to reserve a role does not mean that you cannot make a character for that slot. I encourage you to try and make the best character sheet possible. Think of it as an audition - That's pretty much what it is. I will pick characters based on the construction and detail as well as how well I think they'll fit into the story.
- As a reminder, just because someone has submitted a CS for a slot doesn't mean that they are guaranteed to get it. So if you want to try for Fire Male and someone else has already submitted a CS for him, you should still go for it because your character might be better than his and could get picked to join the cast instead. You may also multi-role if you want.
- Any characters inactive after a period of three days will be ghosted (NPC'd) for the purpose of moving along the story. Any player who leaves the RolePlay forfeits their character and said character will be up for grabs for any other player to maneuver through the story. This story revolves around a set cast and the way the story is written doesn't really allow for one character to take the place of another.
- I am God of this Role-play as this Role-play is my child. I am not a wrathful God, but I do not take kindly to those who usurp my throne. Please, let’s keep everything civilized and just have fun. If you would like to be my co-gm, then please do not hesitate to PM me. I could always use someone to help me manage this role-play and move it along.
- Again, there are limited roles as I do not want this RP to be overrun with too many characters. An RP tends to die when there are more and more characters in it. In your character sheet where the spot for password is, in capital letters, put Lalo if you have read the rules.
- Chosen Ones may possess only Pokémon of their type. [For now]
- Please use logic when picking your Classes and Skills. The Classification System generally marks these trainers as Experts or Masters in that specific field. But, they can also be well trained in one class while not having it. (You can be a Black Belt, but not have it as a class) The Class you choose signifies your trainer's path in life and their passion. But don't make them skilled in every class besides their own. Thanks.
- Try to branch out when classing your character - I've noticed that Classes under Breeder and Martial Artist seem highly popular, but please try to be a bit different from everyone else.

Marcus stands at close to 5'4, labeling him rather short for his age. He is also a little gangly, netting him at around 135 pounds. His eyes are glassy and cloudy white, signifying his blindness. He has a few scars from burns he sustained when he was younger scattered across his body, which he obtained when his home was set ablaze. He often times gets comments about his silver hair, though he doesn't exactly know why it's so special. Colors are meaningless on him.
Style
Marcus wears only his black jumpsuit, which has been treated to be flame-retardant. It has many intricate patterns and designs adorned across it, as well as a hood and face mask that Marcus can pull on at any time. A special loop sits at his waist for his cane, which he uses to not bump in to absolutely everything when he doesn't have one of his Pokemon helping him move about.

Marcus, to start with, is blind. His personality reflects this as he often times asks what is happening or if some one is there when he hears a noise. He is a very cheerful and calm fellow, despite not being able to see anything going on around him. Marcus like meeting new people, even if it's completely he does so by bumping in to them. He has great people skills, and usually gets on people's good side with his charming personality. He is very kind, and never hesitates to stop and listen if some one has a problem. He can't stand to know some one is suffering, and will always stop what he's doing to try and help. He loves his Pokemon dearly, and would be crushed if anything where to happen to them. He sees them as the last family he has, and would happily put his life in danger for them.
Habits
Marcus likes to find a quiet place to sit and meditate when he as time, or when he feels sad or scared by something. Meditating has always been his escape from the outside world.

Marcus is a healer at heart. He's learned how to identify herbs and plants based on smell, touch, and taste, and can direct other how to mix them when required since he cannot see. He can sometimes get confused about what herbs to mix because of their taste or smell, but he's practicing every day. Another ability he has, although not as used or practiced, is 'sensing' people. Sometimes, when Marcus is meditating, he can pick up on disturbances in the Aura around him, letting him know if some one is close. He really doesn't know what this power is, and normally activates in on accident.
History / Biography:
Marcus was born in to a family of psychics and seers. They lived in a small home in the mountainous area of Sinnoh, near Snowpoint city. His father was an Aura User and his Mother was an Empath, and although they were almost all alone in the mountains, they still had a happy life. They believed in seclusion to help train their minds and sharpen their wit, and where also often times accused of crimes for their strong belief and practice of communing with the dead. His parents were a bit distraught when he was born with pale, milky eyes, and their fears were soon confirmed as Marcus was found to be blind. his parents worked hard to help him grow normally with his handicap, and even caught a Dratini for him to help guide him around when he was young. Despite being blind, Marcus had a happy childhood. Having a pokemon to help keep him from running in to things helped immensely, and with his parent's support he had a fairly normal childhood... Well, as normal as it could be living in the mountains.
But one day, disaster struck. The mountains that Marcus' home had been built on was assaulted with a sudden lightning storm. In the middle of the night, while he and his family huddled together to try and sleep, lightning exploded on to the mountainside, setting his home ablaze. Marcus was sent sprawling by the sudden explosive force, knocking him unconscious. His Dratini tried to pull him from the burning house, but she was too weak at the time. Marcus had no memory of the events that followed. When he awoke, a doctor was surprised to see him conscious. She informed him that some one sitting beside his bed had brought him to the hospital, covered in burns. Marcus was surprised to feel a hand tightly grasp his, though no voice belonging to it's owner.
When the doctor left, Latias changed in to her true form and informed him of why she was there, and what had happened. He was saddened that his only home and family where gone, but Latias comforted him while he recovered from his burns. He was eventually allowed to leave and, once learning of his blindness, the hospital gave him his walking cane. He quickly got the hang of using it, and after saying goodbye to his home, The two fled in to the unknown.

Trax sort of found me, I guess. Lucia and I were on our way to town to find a place to sleep when she made me stop. She told me there was a hurt pokemon trying to attack us when I felt something bite my leg and then suddenly let go. Lucia told me he fainted, and that we should get to a Pokemon center quick. After we got him healed, he wanted to come with us, and Lucia helped me buy a pokeball for him. He's been with me ever since... He is such a goof! He's always trying to pick fights with Pokemon ten times bigger than he is, or trying to 'defend' me when I talk to some one...

Shane Simmons is an average guy, having quite an average build for a young man his age and an average height. He stands at around 5'9" and weighs an average of 160 lbs depending on how well he gets to eat during the week. He has shaggy brown hair of thicker quality and medium length, with deep set dark brown eyes. Shane never saw a reason to get any tattoos or piercings, and with no scars either he's all natural. His face holds sort of a boyish charm and he can even be seen as handsome to some. His skin is fairly bronzed, but he looks tan instead of dark-skinned.

Personality: Shane is a little bit of a sarcastic prick. He'll mouth off more than most people blink, and he won't discriminate either, especially if he thinks he's better than you and you don't agree. He also seems to not care about anyone in general, taking himself as a loner and intentionally avoiding people. Despite this, he's pretty chauvinistic. That being said he has a heart of gold. He's the first one to make light of a situation, the first one to sacrifice his comfort for another's, and the first one to endanger himself for someone's safety. Shane's key to training success is treating his Pokemon more like hunting dogs than pets or friends. He's a bit of a gambler, too, and will never back down from a challenge even if he'll fail. He loves music and getting him to listen to you over his tunes can be a chore. He tends to be passive-aggressive more than confrontational, and his quick wit and sharp tongue can cut like knives if you manage to piss him off.
Habits: When lonely Shane tends to whistle, and will scuff his feet in the dirt slightly in awkward situations. He also either goes overboard on facial expressions or shows nothing at all, rarely going in between.

Special Abilities / Traits/ Attributes: Shane Simmons is an Ace Trainer through and through. He's been training all of his life to be the strongest and it shows. All this experience taught him the ropes of finding, catching, and raising the strongest of the strong. He can analyze a Pokemon when it fights and find out what it needs to improve on, as well as give it the motivation and proper instruction to help it get there. His experience in training has also made him a master Trainer, able to call commands to multiple Pokemon at once and keep complete knowledge of exactly what's going on. Along with that, he's got a scary good throwing arm. It comes with the territory when your main targets are always flying around. His practice in this area lets him quickly fling out items and Pokeballs at a moment's notice.
History / Biography: Shane had a normal home life, considering the fact that he left at 8 years old and his biggest achievement was crayons. But he has a haunting memory when he was 8 years old. He remembers something calling his name as he was sleeping in the night. The rest of the house was quiet, as his parents had already gone to bed, and he walked dreamily to his window to inspect it. As he stared past his reflection in the window in the dead of night, something stared back at him. It was a big dragon looking thing. It told him a bunch of things he didn't understand, and then asked him to go with it. For some odd reason, even though he didn't understand, he left with it.
Little did he know that this dragon thing was Lugia, and it was telling him of his prophecy. In time, Shane came to understand his fate, even resent it a little. His parents gave up looking for him after 2 years.

Sym is a very outgoing woman, though at times she can be irritable if she finds that someone isn’t able to grasp what she might think is a simple concept though it may be something way over their heads. She treats her Pokemon as though they were her siblings and even talks to them as such. She’s easy to approach with any problems that one might have and she seems to always have a solution for them. She’s often found around Miu, trying to pry her breeding secrets out of her or begging for her pokevitamin recipes. If you’re on her bad side, it’s best to watch out. She’s a gorgeous young woman, but her intellect is very high and she thinks a lot. She holds a grudge and will do her best to carry out her dark and often animated will when you’ve upset her. She's also a food junkie and it shows by her littered workspace and bedroom. When she's not raiding the kitchen, she's more often than not training her Pokemon for battle or competition - At the request of others, she could be found in the University Lab or in her own Lab within the Mansion tinkering with a Pokeball for someone or trying to replicate Miu's pokevitamin recipe. She secretly wishes that she had prowess as a Breeder and is envious moreso of Miu's superiority in the field than any other.

Sym will pull out her tools and an unfinished Pokeball whenever she's thinking. So, she's a nervous tinkerer. When she's excited, she bounces seeming uncontrollably. Sym has studied Pokemon in various depths over the years and as a Watcher, she knows exactly where to find what are called the ‘Shiny’ Pokemon. Simply put, they are Pokemon that stand out in different colors and sometimes sizes than others of their kind. She also is adept at getting what she wants through her ability to charm. Symphony is also rather talented as a Pokeball designer and is always eager to share her new toys with her friends. She's also quite the inventor when it comes to other things and seems to always have a strategic plan in her head for how to overcome obstacles. As far as her Pokemon training skills are concerned; She doesn't like to battle very often and prefers to practice for competitions. But she knows that her Pokemon must be strong and her Pokemon understand this as well, so she often pays Miu in exchange for her special recipe Pokevitamins and has Miu an Oliver practice and help her train her Pokemon so that they are battle-ready. Their experience in competition gives her Pokemon a grace and agility that the other Pokemon do not have and they are just as strategic, if not moreso, than their trainer. Dallas is a solid 5’11” tall, giving him the height and reach he needs to be quite a physical specimen, be it for his swimming or his weapons training. His eyes are a colour that appears almost as though green and blue were swirled together into a nice sea-like green. Weighing in at 170lbs, Dal has a solid physique that complements his height and somewhat lighter skin well. His blond hair falls to about his chin, though it often has a somewhat bedraggled, messy-on-purpose look to it. The swimmer’s lips are often pulled into a smile and his eyes always seem alert and attentive. He carries himself with his chin held high and, in contrast, his shoulders laid back a little bit. His upper and lower bodies are both well-to-do, but his upper is stronger due to the fact that his swimming works both of them and his weapons training helps more in his upper body.
Style:
He often wears a pair of fingerless gloves that help to improve his grip, coloured in a darkish brown and made from leather (like in his picture but not quite as long and without the metal bands). He prefers to keep his shirt unbuttoned about halfway, even in the fall (as he actually enjoys the cool air) so long as the breeze isn’t too strong. He wears a bandana, sometimes around his neck and sometimes around his head, that’s white and he has another that’s a dark, royal blue, both colours being solid. For shoes he wears a pair of silver and black hiking shoes and most often a pair of blue jeans or cargo shorts.

Dallas has an upbeat, energetic attitude toward most things. His outlook on like might seem overly optimistic, but he acts and speaks in order to keep others’ spirits up, but sometimes even he feels like things are hopeless. He has a hard headed stubbornness to him and determination that rivals that of a Golem. His Pokemon all are very helpful to him, seeing as he takes pride and happiness in the innocence and playfulness that many of them naturally possess. One can almost always see him with a smile and his stance, while confident, has a certain laid-back quality to it. He loves to relax, but knows that there is a time for it and a time for working hard.
Habits
The water-type specialist tends to crack his knuckles often and when he’s nervous, he will drum his fingers on any surface he can find (though his nerves are hard to press). However, if one were to hit the right buttons, he balls his fists and even shakes slightly when he grows aggravated. In fact, it’s very easily to tell when he’s angry, as he has a quick saliva build-up and spits at the ground a lot.

Special Abilities:
His training specializes him with short knives, mostly for close-combat though he has enough skill to throw one with some accuracy (though it should not be relied on as anything but a final way out) and a bo-staff. The bo-staff he carries is a third of its normal size and collapses inside of itself until he is ready to use it, at which point he presses a release and it expands to its full length. Being from Pacifidlog Town, his balance was already a strong attribute, so the two weapons were a good choice which catered to his ability. Also, his love for Water-type Pokemon has led him to naturally enjoy events on or by the water. As a result of this, he is quite a strong swimmer.
History / Biography:
Having grown up in Pacifidlog, Dallas didn’t really have very much of a life outside of his tiny little town. They would get adventurers and travelers who passed through once in a while, but rarely was there much more than that seeing as it was so secluded. He learned to swim only a short while after he could walk, a skill that was a necessity in their town, and the town was absolutely shocked at the fact that he had been a chosen one. The odds of somebody from the town that basically floated on the water being the “chosen” anything was absolutely unfathomable. His first pokemon didn’t actually come from a parent, or even a member of the town. A researcher, with brown hair that was balding on the top and a white coat visited them. Dallas couldn’t, for the life of him, remember the man’s short name, but he left the boy, who was the only child in town that didn’t have a Pokemon yet, an egg. That egg hatched into the Totodile he now knows and loves only a few short weeks later.

History: Lapras was a Pokemon that Dallas caught himself, and he’s immensely proud of her (especially because she was his second Pokemon). He found her behind a waterfall while he was out for a swim. The waterfall had actually hidden a very small cave (which had a floor of completely water) that led to absolutely nowhere. However, it seemed peaceful enough. However, he found her just outside of the waterfall, having been injured by something that he couldn’t find, as he’d never known any hostile Pokemon to lay in the lake that he found her at. He’d never found the body of water until about four days before he found the Lapras. It took two days to get the Lapras back into the condition she once was, but the moment he was sure that she was okay, he took his chance and managed to successfully capture her. She was slow to trust, and still is, though very caring once he managed to get close to her.

History: Dallas got Brine as a little Kabuto. He was spending the day at the beach when he stubbed his toe on a rock that was sticking up out of the ground. He pulled it out to find what an Archaeologist later told him was a “Dome” fossil and offered to, as an experiment, attempt to make it into the Pokemon which it had once been. The experiment worked, in part because of how intact the fossil was, and he raised the Kabuto into a Kabutops during his training. It actually happens to be one of his closest sparring partners for his weapons mastery now.

History: Wing is the newest addition to Dallas' team, being a present from his father who seemed to be convinced he needed something new for his team. At first, he was reluctant to accept the Wingull, believing it would not be quite fit into the team. However, when he realized that the Wingull was just as shy as he was being cold, he decided that it needed a partner. Plus, a bird was an excellent addition to his team. The two haven't been close for very long, but the bond is a work in progress and they'll have plenty of time on their travels to grow closer. He likes the speed that Wing has and, though its quiet, it has a certain determination to it that Dallas thinks will fade into apathy and passive aggression if it were to evolve. Plus, he loves the youth that the devolved Pokemon holds.

Rarely of stable temperament, Elsie is known for her volatile nature, swinging from peaks of vigorous joy to simmering rage as smoothly and inevitably as the swing of a pendulum. Despite the lot that life has dealt her, and the profound joy that she takes in her nature as the ‘Waterchild,’ she lives her life fighting an unquenchable desire to live every life and be every person – it is largely due to the self-conviction and strong sense of identity that she fostered in Emaren and Monroe that Elsie has grown comfortable with her role as a Chosen. She believes that every human and Pokemon has a path that nature deemed suited to them (though nothing so high-and-mighty as a destiny) that she prides in cultivating as a breeder, and while the pendulum of her desire may swing frequently, her blood dictates her to be a Chosen.
Elsie is vibrantly personable, always seeking to understand and get into the heads of others – something that infuriatingly proves far more difficult than getting into the heads of Pokemon. Blessed with both a strong maternal instinct and a hair-trigger personality, she often proves outspokenly angry towards those who would harm those she views as vulnerable and has an acknowledged yet unrepentant habit of empathising with those that she’d be better off remaining detached from.
Habits
Evie has an undying habit of brushing her hair from her eyes any time that she’s agitated or attempting to focus, regardless of whether her hair happens to be loose or tied back at the time. To no small embarrassment, she tends to sing to herself when deep in thought, humming mindless tunes while her thoughts float around in her head.

Special Abilities / Traits/ Attributes: In recent years, Elsie has developed the ability to ‘synchronise’ her mindset and mindsets of Pokemon, falling somewhere between natural empathy and a true talent. She is able to adopt the moods and viewpoints of a Pokemon that she is communicating with and, to varying degrees depending on the strength of their emotion, bring that Pokemon somewhat towards her own. While she is unable to synchronise herself to more than one Pokemon at a time and is invariably exhausted once she exits it, this ability to temporarily mould her erratic mindset to that of a Pokemon serves her greatly as both a breeder and adjudicator between various Pokemon. This bond is always stronger with Water Pokemon, most likely due to her nature as a Chosen, and some remnants of the mood that she enters linger for several hours, for better or for worse.
History / Biography:
Evie’s life began on the riverbanks of Mauville City, basking in the sun with Emaren and Monroe. Of course, everything started a little while before that – she was born in the self-same town, daughter of a hot-blooded Johto trainer living off open air and wanderlust and the placid Hoenn breeder who tamed him. From an early age, Evie’s place was under her mother’s eye, nurturing and rearing the joys that her mother’s breeding brought into the world. With the empathetic nature of her mother and a way with Pokemon that a stranger could almost mistake for telepathy, the young Evie made herself a pleasant enough entrance to the world, yet nothing so deeply satisfying as to be considered a ‘life.’
However, as more of Evie’s vibrant nature began to blossom, so did her father’s old fire for a challenge blaze alongside it. With her mother’s blessing, Evie was presented with a pair of Pokemon eggs from her parent’s Poliwrath and Politoed to raise as her own – twins, an exceptionally rare occurrence among most species of Pokemon. With nothing more than a watchful eye and contented nods from her mother, Evie raised the eggs alone. It was on her seventh birthday that the eggs hatched, and it was then that the person formerly known as Evie was born.

However, the long years and her bonds with both Evie and Monroe have forged an iron-clad willpower and self-understanding, and she is more than happy to live her life following her nature and brawling with the best of them.

Ted stands at a height slightly above average at 5'11" and weighs around 165 lbs. While he was fairly plump as a child, years of travel and growing have transformed his build into that of a runner's. He's grown out his spiky red-orange hair, which falls to the base of his neck. Sharp, observant brown eyes embellish his somewhat tanned complexion. Several scars cover Ted's person, some more visible than others. The most evident scar would probably be the jagged one stretching over the length of his forearm, obtained when he was attacked by a startled Nidorino as a kid.*

A black bandana adorns Ted's reddish hair, which he is rarely seen without. Fingerless black gloves on his hands serve as padding against whatever the world throws at him. Ted retains practical principles when dressing; therefore, his clothing is typically durable and accommodated into the climate.

Growing up as a mute was difficult for Ted, and it has helped contribute to several key characteristics of Ted, some more obvious than others. As one can imagine, Ted doesn't hold conversations with others very often. As such, he can actually have a lot to say in the occasion that he does hold a conversation. Ted's introverted personality can only be expected, given his upbringing. He prefers isolated, peaceful areas, and really dislikes social gatherings for obvious reasons. Ted was called many things growing up, ranging from "freak" to "snob". He considers himself neither of these, however, but his opinion on the matter hardly matters.
Ted doesn't have high hopes for humanity. This might be due to him being more in-tune with his Pokémon than most humans. Ted tries not to care what society thinks of him, whether they don't understand him or sympathize with him; he attempts to remain apathetic towards it all. His attempts rarely succeed, unfortunately. Despite what some people think, Ted is quite intelligent, and he's very observant of the world around him. He's a tad pessimistic in his view of the world, mainly because he views it as a bitter, unforgiving place.
Habits: To put it simply, it is nigh impossible for Ted to sit still. He always has to be doing some sort of movement. When he's nervous, his body heat skyrockets, and he has been known to sweat profusely in such events. Ted enjoys tinkering with gadgets or even creating his own. When overcome with emotion, Ted often has trouble signing because his hands will shake noticeably.

Special Abilities / Traits/ Attributes: Being an Ace Trainer, Ted is an exceptionally talented Pokémon battler. This, combined with the ability to communicate telepathically with his Pokémon, allows him to battle with them on an intimate level, and it gives him an edge in that enemy trainers can't hear what he commands his Pokémon to do. Ted is a fairly skilled engineer; as such, he's both created his own gadgets and fiddled around with contraptions excogitated by someone else. Also, being a mute, Ted can converse with sign language.
History / Biography:
After spending fruitless years trying to teach Ted how to speak, his mom took him to a doctor. The doctor diagnosed him as a mute after several tests, to *Ted's mom's great chagrin. She went to some local schools where Ted learned sign language, while she studied it online. "Being able to speak with my son was one of the greatest moments in my life. He had so much to say, and for once, I could just listen." At eight years old, Ted and his family were approached by Victini and practically slapped with the revelation of Ted's true identity.

A nearby Kangaskan stomped about, roaring its challenge. Cinder must've done something to aggravate it. Still, I was frightened by the hulking Kangaskan. As such, I grabbed the Cyndaquil and hid in a neighboring bush until the Kangaskan skulked away. I brought the Cyndaquil back with me, and checked it in at the Pokémon Center. Cinder took a liking to me, and I had grown quite fond of him as well."

Ted unintentionally found Vulpa in an alleyway. Vulpa's first reaction was to try and fire off a Hypnosis, but Cinder swiftly prevented the attack. Ted then began to talk with the Vulpix in an attempt to solve the issue without violence. Vulpa explained to him that her mother had recently passed away, so she's had no where to go. Ted offered to take Vulpa with him, which she eagerly accepted."

Appearance: At 5’7, Oswin hovers a good few inches over the average female, and at par with most males. However, her body is lithe and supple, with powerful muscles from workouts and her intensive daily schedule. Her strength is enviable, especially when one considers the opponents, both human and 'mon, she has brought to their knees. Oswin has long brown hair that falls a few inches beneath her shoulders; its sleek curls and natural reddish highlights cause it to look like a pale burning fire in the right light. Her eyes are a dark brown, though somehow the deep color can somehow capture both ferocity and bliss, depending on her mood. Her usual gaze, however, is of a focused, ambivalent nature. She has five piercings on her ears, two silver rings an inch in diameter at the bottom of each ear and a smaller, half inch diameter ring at the top of her left. Her skin is of a tannish sort, with scars from hundreds of scrapes and scratches faded within her sun kissed skin. There are strange archaic tattoos on the inside of her wrists that glow blue when she is using her aura abilities.
Style
Oswin finds efficiency to be her top priority, anything that can’t be carried on her person without hampering her body movements is used or left behind. Therefore, there are many pockets in her chestnut leather clothes, which are custom conformed for her body to muffle movement sounds. This set of clothes includes a shirt, pants, boots, fingered leather gloves and a cowl, though the latter is often left dangling on her back. In the most dire of circumstances, there is a brown pack woven into her clothes that she will use if need be.

Personality:
Oswin is a very solitary character, choosing to do as she pleases, not what others tell her to do. This results in a highly rebellious nature when her interests conflict with those of her superiors, and she hates being put into any situation to which she must submit. She is slightly claustrophobic, but only to the point of high annoyance/minor discomfort when she is contained. She also strongly dislikes the concepts of companions who slow her down of followers keeping track of her, so she often leaves in the middle of the night to travel the forestland alone, or with her Pokemon.
Around others, she is innately distrustful, but eases up over time...usually. She doesn't view people as friends unless she feels close to them, and so feels no contempt to those who leave their thoughts unguarded. Once befriended, she does show a little emotion outside her stony exterior, moreso as their relationship develops. However, when the time comes, it's everyone for themselves; she's the only person she cares about when it comes down to it, because nobody except her and her Pokemon have ever been there for her. Worth must be proved, not assumed. Overall, though, she connects with Pokemon far better with people.
Oswin believes to her core that one is only as good as they dictate themselves to be. Therefore, she keeps her body in a high performance state, choosing intensive routines and daily runs to maintain her condition. She is also a firm believer that a trainer should be as strong as her Pokemon, and often spars against them herself, elementals out of the question of course.... Usually. she finds the inverse true as well, and her Pokemon complete the same high intensity training sessions as she does.
Habits
Oswin often thinks about the past, having a clear memory, and tends to sometimes zone out during boring conversations. If she isn't "engaged" in conversation, she can often be found sharpening her knives, whittling sticks, or practicing her skills when bored, despite company. Darts away from unexpected contact and assumes a ready position immediately. She tends to click her tongue softly when frustrated.

Special Abilities / Traits/ Attributes: As a user of Aura, Oswin naturally has a connection to the world around her, and the life it incorporates. She understands the ways of the forest, and the ways of Pokemon nature, with a clear, trained eye. Therefore, as a survivalist, she can last in the forest indefinitely, knowing how to make fires and what vegetation is edible, such and so forth. Her honing of her body gives her quick reflexes, strong muscles, and fast, quiet movements, as if a snake. Furthermore, her Aura Abilities are honed in both the physical and metaphysical dimensions; She can see the life force of all but those who have been trained to hide from her as silhouettes of light, (think lucario), and create balls and shields of the ethereal energy, few can hide from her, fewer can best her.
History / Biography:
Oswin was born near petalburg, in Hoenn, though she can't say she ever liked the city much. She never found out who her father was, and her mom was a heartless drunk, who would go out into the city from their forest cabin daily, and return with her toxicroak late in the night, violent and angry in her stupor. So, Starting from the early age of five, Oswin learned to hide out in the forest until her mom left again in the morning. Around the age of six or seven she stowed away on a ferry to Dewford. Once there, she lived for a month with the other street rats until she was taken in by one of the local martial artists, inspired by the young girls tenacity and feistiness. However, as an instructor, he was far more brutal than her mother was, but kept a close eye on her, so she couldn't run off any more. Instead, she found refuge constantly training in the gym, as to better prepare herself for defense. It was here that she befriended one of the wild Pokemon that trained at the dojo, an abandoned combusken. The Pokemon helped the young girl escape into his lair a few weeks before her eighth birthday, then in stowing away in a boat back to the woods she was familiar with. Her new companion stayed with her as they thrived in the deep brush, though her surprise was unmatched when a heatran made its way through the vegetation in search of her, and her special purpose. After a few days of persuasion, she eventually left the woods she trusted to travel with this strange fire type.

History - I was broken, and sore from Jacob's newest "lesson." by then, I knew for sure that the man was just using me as an outlet for his pent up aggression, and the bruises all over my body proved it. Still, I had managed to drag myself down to the gym, even as hurt and young as I had been, to practice. I brought myself to my feet and took my stance, and punched the air feverishly, desperately. Apparently I hadn't been doing well enough, because a pokemon that had been watching me came by to help. Such was so when I found myself on an island during my travels, and, waiting for my next boat, watched a prissy girl receive a present from her obviously illustrious father. Inside the golden pokeball was a larvesta, soft and furry and small. The rare pokemon had just hatched, and it looked with wide eyes upon the lillipups and glameows dancing about with a calm collection. It smiled to the girl, and the girl instantly commanded it to do a powerful fire type move. The Pokemon was confused — of course it couldn't do that. The girl began to cry, and , deciding her new pet was broken, threw the small bug into the water below. I instantly dove from my place to rescue the helpless baby Pokemon before it drowned, and held it, the poor pokemon sputtering and crying, as the parents comforted the girl, promising to find her a Pokemon that wasn't broken.

As he doesn't spend too much time outdoors, Brutus is quite pale compared to the average person. Brutus is what is typefied a both a bookworm and a lone wolf. He is taciturn by nature and many think him to be a Hex Maniac when they first meet him; however, after you get to know him, he can be a chatterbox. When you make friends with him, he will lend his vast knowledge to help you in times of need, and will also lend his support as a Pokemon Trainer. Many who were close to him in Mossdeep City described him as having a creepy personality.
Habits
Brutus tends to sigh to himself, and he also pulls out his necklace and absentmindedly rubs it. When nervous, he also bites his nails.

Special Abilities / Traits/ Attributes:
Brutus has studied extensively into Pokemon, so much that he has been come to be known as a Professor in his own right. While he has a good deal of knowledge of all types of Pokemon, the type he is most familiar with is the Psychic Type. As a Clairsentient, Brutus is also able to tell the history of an inanimate object back up to a month or two. While standing in places with high Psychic energy, he can relive history from up to two centuries ago. Brutus also used his knowledge of Pokemon to quickly evolve them, even evolving a friend's Kadabra into an Alakazam without having to have traded it. He also uses his Pokemon knowledge to teach his Pokemon team moves not documented in the official guidebooks.
History / Biography:
Before being taken away, Brutus was getting ready to start his Pokemon journey and become a well known Psychic and Pokemon Professor in his own right.

Although she isn't as short as Miu, she still isn't especially tall, standing at five feet three, weighing 120lbs, and is constantly mistaken for being younger than she actually is. Her long, straight aqua hair flows down her back and often over her shoulders, not being bothered to push it back. The most she does to care for it is a quick brush in the mornings, usually not being that bothered with caring for it. Her eyes are similar to her hair, only just a bit more of a deeper blue, mixed with an expression that always seems glazed over, or tired. She is often seen with a small, slightly weary smile on her face, her skin slightly pale from long days spent inside reading, with it lacking any inflections and being fairly smooth. Her body is quite small, lacking in any obvious muscles or curves, making her sometimes appear to be quite frail, with her movements generally being rather slow most of the time.
Style
Kira will more or less wear anything, never having been that self-conscious of her fashion sense, usually being fairly oblivious to such things. This has however, led to her to wear things that really don't fit her that well, and after having Claire constantly tell her 'why in the name of all that is good and holy, are you wearing that?' she grew to just generally wear dresses that go past her knees (like in the picture), at least when not in winter, but she isn't that picky.

Kira often appears like she's preoccupied in her own mind, constantly day-dreaming and seeming like she's not paying too much attention to her surroundings. In truth, she has a surreal and bizarre imagination that is constantly in full throttle, leading to absent-mindedness and strange non-sequiturs that seem to just come out of the blue, having a mind that not many people seem to be able to understand that well. Claire, her first Pokémon and closest friend, still can't seem to fully comprehend her, although she has gotten used to how she acts and will often take it in stride. Kira herself realises that she isn't exactly 'normal', and is sometimes frustrated at how she is often misunderstood by the people around her, but has learned that they necessarily need to understand her. Although she may show it in strange ways, she loves her friends and enjoys holding conversations with them, even if the topics she brings up are often considered weird. However, the one thing that Kira enjoys the most is something hasn't exactly been granted to her that much, and that is her proclivity for 'relaxing'. That's all Kira wants to do, grab a book, converse with her friends, and hold onto a peaceful, uneventful life, where she can calm down and write stories or take pictures of the world. But, saving the world is not what one would consider relaxing, so Kira is often seen as being lazy or lethargic to other people. But still, she pushes through in her 'quest' in hope that afterwards, everything will be calm. And that everything will be fine.
Habits
Has quite a lot. When she is deep in thought, whether that be while reading or writing or just generally thinking, she has a habit of blurting out the thing she was thinking of when she is interrupted by someone, often to the surprise, or amusement, of the one interrupting. When frustrated, confused or just flustered, her speech patterns grow to be even more incomprehensible, which doesn't exactly help her that much when trying to communicate some kind of point. These are only the major ones, though.

Say what you will about her, she thinks outside the box. In fact, you could say that she prefers to think about five miles directly out of the box. Her tactics are the definition of 'unorthodox'. Whether or not they work varies from time to time. Along with this, from her years of training as a photographer, she has learnt a lot about the natural habitats of Pokémon and their living patterns and routines. Being a Hex Maniac, she can cast status effects on wild Pokémon. Although she has noted that it works on people as well. Bunch of laughs to be found there. Kira is also an aspiring writer, and is constantly writing short stories to hone her skills, employing her large amount of imagination in them.
History / Biography:
Kira grew up in a fairly poor household in Petalburg City, living alone with her young mother. Kira doesn't know anything about her father, just that her Mom gave birth to her at the age of 16, and that she raised Kira on her own. Anything past that and her Mom subtly changes the topic, and Kira never tried to force the subject. Apart from when with her Mom, Kira's life was quite lonely, as she never quite got along with the other children in area, who would instantly label her as 'weird'. Her mother was a photographer, and while she didn't make that much money from it, she often let Kira take the camera and do what she would with it. On one of her trips out of the city, she met a little Ralts, who stared at her with its head slightly titled as Kira had a one-sided conversation with the Ralts, despite her obviously being unable to respond or even understand her, yet still followed her as she took pictures of things she found interesting. Even continuing to follow her back to her house, which Kira just went with, letting it stay with them without a second thought.

And I just came across her as I was shootin' this little family of Zigzagoon. She just kind of stood there and stared with her head slightly tilted. She was adorable, so I just kind of talked to her about... Well, uh, I can't remember. I think I just talked, for some reason. And then she started following me with this curious expression on her face, and then continued following me back to my house. I'm not quite sure what happened to her family, but hey, I let her stay. Appearance:
Dallas is a solid 5’11” tall, giving him the height and reach he needs to be quite a physical specimen, be it for his swimming or his weapons training. His eyes are a colour that appears almost as though green and blue were swirled together into a nice sea-like green. Weighing in at 170lbs, Dal has a solid physique that complements his height and somewhat lighter skin well. His blond hair falls to about his chin, though it often has a somewhat bedraggled, messy-on-purpose look to it. The swimmer’s lips are often pulled into a smile and his eyes always seem alert and attentive. He carries himself with his chin held high and, in contrast, his shoulders laid back a little bit. His upper and lower bodies are both well-to-do, but his upper is stronger due to the fact that his swimming works both of them and his weapons training helps more in his upper body.
Style:
He often wears a pair of fingerless gloves that help to improve his grip, coloured in a darkish brown and made from leather (like in his picture but not quite as long and without the metal bands). He prefers to keep his shirt unbuttoned about halfway, even in the fall (as he actually enjoys the cool air) so long as the breeze isn’t too strong. He wears a bandana, sometimes around his neck and sometimes around his head, that’s white and he has another that’s a dark, royal blue, both colours being solid. For shoes he wears a pair of silver and black hiking shoes and most often a pair of blue jeans or cargo shorts.
