"Heh. Glad to hear that." Tim said softly and turned his attention back to the soup. Stirring it he got some in the wooden spoon and held his hand under it "Try it, its just vegetable soup. Nothing really special."

"Tim, amything you cook is special." Kaden replied with a grin and walked over to him. He blew into the spoon a bit to cool the soup down before eating it. "Mm. It's so well seasoned. No wonder Jona liked you in the kitchen."

Chuckling Tim shrugged "I guess those weekends up here helped me." He said softly. Covering the pot he grabbed a bucket and smiled "Well, I'm going to go milk the cows and then start fixing up the stable for them. The soup should be done by the time I come back."

"Wait, let me come help you. I need to learn how to do all of this stuff to, so you can relax sometimes and let me do the work." Kaden said, a determined look on his face. He didn't want to be useless.

Stopping Tim grinned and nod "Alright. C'mon then." he grinned as he started to walk out again. Getting to the small shack that was serving as a temproy home for the cattle he went in and took out a cow. Petting her he smiled and grabbed a stool from the shack and saw down before he started to milk her "Kaden, come watch." he said as he showed how to milk her. With some milk in the bucket he smiled and stood up "Sit down, now take the utters softly and then gently pull. You'll get milk in the bucket and it might take awhile but thats normal."

The prince stood a little ways away from him, watching how Tim milked the cow but, when he called him over, he frowned a bit. "Okay...I'll try it..." he said softly and took a seat beside the cow. Kaden hesitated a moment before reaching forward and gently grabbing the utters, making the cow shift slightly. He then began to attempt to milk tne cow. "I think I got it." He said after a fee squirts of milk blasted into the pail.

Tim watched Kaden, he stood behind him and was ready to help when he thought it was needed. Seeing that he was fine still Tim patted the prince's shoulder and smiled a bit proudly. "Good, see it ain't too hard? Want me to take it back now and you go check on the soup?"

Kaden shrugged and stood up, but not before giving the cow a gentle pet on the back. "Yeah, I'll call you when it's done." He said with a smile and headed back to the castle. Once inside, he went into the kitchen and stirres the souo before sitting at the table. He then found himself looking down at his handmade necklace...

It didn't take long to fill the pile with milk. After putting the heifer back into the stall Tim returned to the kitchen with pile in hand; seeing Kaden looking down at the necklace Tim chuckled softly and sat the pile on the floor as he took the pot off the fire "There we go. Hungry prince?"

"Of course." He said with a grin and, at that same moment, the two guards entered the kitchen. "Mmm, something smells wonderful!" One of them exclaimed as he took a seat across from the prince. "I agree. I can't wait to eat that!" "That's all you two think about. Food." Kaden said jokingly, making them laugh.
