Tim kept checking on the chicken and would started to add some things to the pot just so the chicken got more flavor. All of this he learned from the chef from watching him carefully. He would have to thank him somehow. Looking over to Kaden, Tim had to remained himself not to show that kind of emotion towards the prince. He didn't want to the guards to be worried of him being a trouble maker.

The guards eventually got impatient with waiting and decided to go check on the cows once more. Apparently, they'd made an animal and human bond while trying to get her into the barn. "I'll call you guys when the chicken is done!" The prince callled out the door and then walked over to where Tim was standing. "Mm. That smells just like how Jona used to.make his chicken..." Kaden said thoughtfully and smiled. "Haha you were learning from him, weren't you?"

Grinning the boy nod and leaned against the counter, "Yeah. I only watched through, never asked questions." he noted. Checking the chicken he added something else before grabbing the bowls and setting them up. "Alright, just a few more minutes till the chicken it done. You think we should call them back in or just leave them for while?" he asked walking over to the soup and smelling it "Wow, this smells wonderful."

The prince waved dismissively. "Eh, they'll be all right. They'll come running back once the smell of this chicken makes it outside." He added with a light chuckle then sat down on the table top, avoiding knocking over the bowls. "I wanna learn how to cook as good as you do, Tim." He said as he watched his friend inhale the delicious scents that wafted from.the pot. He was really good at that...

"You should watch Jona, he is a amazing cook ya know." he grinned. Pulling out the chicken from the pot and putting it on a plate he walked over laying it on the table and quickly cut the leg for Kaden and himself. Cutting it up he smiled taking some into his bowl and started to eat after praying. Looking at the door he he waited to see if the two would come running in.

Kaden also sat down properly at the table and watched as Tim fixed the plates before digging into his own. "Mmmm. That's good." He commented through a mouthful of food. Moments later, the two guards came through the door, grinning. "We smelt the food and decided that it was time to come back." This made the prince laugh. "Take a seat. The food's done."

"Hm, guess you were right Kaden." he grinned as he took a drink from his cup. Leaning back he looked at the two men "So, how do you guys like being up here so far? Ain't too bad right?" he asked grabbing the chicken leg.

"Oh yes." One of the men replied with a grin. "There's a lot more to do up here...sorry Kaden." He added with a grin and the prince waved it away as he chuckled. "It's fine. I know what you mean. There's a lot more freedom and variety out here." He said and smiled at Tim from across the table. "Thanks for bringing us here."

After dinner Tim found himself wondering around the castle with a dimly lit candle in hand. Wondering around the halls he looked around at the stone walls that still held a few paintings and even curtains. Coming into a room Tim walked to one of the windows and opened it wide. It was strange not to be getting ready to go rob somoeone. Even stranger not to be covered in coal and dust.

After dinner was over, the guards disappeared off to the room to lay down. Kaden on the other hand, decided to roam around the castle in the dark. For some reason, he wanted to put himself in Tim's shoes as a theif, or rather a former theif. He has to admit, it was quite fun. Sneaking around corners and tip toeing around without anyone knowing. Soon, he came across an open room and, when he peered inside, he saw Tim. Grinning, he snuck up behind the boy and, when he was close enough, wrapped his arms around his torso and yelled: "Boo!"
