Okay so we have this so far

Sherlock Holmes x Irene Adler & & & John Watson x Mary Morstan

So we decided to have them all meet prior to the films. Our best bet would be to refer to the first film as it gave the most information on Irene and Holmes, and Mary and John. I also do think it might be better to develop the men and women together, before throwing them all together so the strain wouldn't be so hard and it wouldn't undo anything. It's also possible to create some kind of case to do just that, perhaps Mary and Irene do witness some murder and need protection, Watson stumbles across Holmes and the two team up to help the ladies. Just a suggestion, there are plenty of ways to tackle this. I also wonder how we can give Adler and Mary a connection to the two boys. Holmes would be surprised to find someone as clever as he, though I was wondering if perhaps Mary had taken an interest to becoming a nurse or something like that. It also might be cool to use "love letters" in the story if the pairs are ever separated for some reason.

And about how much do you feel up to posting per character, you think?

Alright, I like that idea. Having them meet the Ladies first before meeting each other later. And also the Nurse idea will work with me, it would make sense anyways and make things a bit easier. And YES LOVE LETTERS! XD Defiantly yes....XD

So usually I post both characters at the same time in one post, but separate with a line. Other times I will post one person and then the other later depending on what was going on. So I don't mind posting a lot per character if you have a number in mind.

When I do use two people, I tend to also just separate them with a - - - break or something like that though even if both people are in two different areas, I still post them, since it's likely the four won't be together for a while anyway. I can post from 2 paragraphs per person to like 5 or more, but two is the absolute minimum I try for, which then means at least four total. So for Holmes and Irene meeting, do you think they should meet abroad or stick to the London area, I assume the two would cross paths when she's doing something like robbery? Does that work or did you have an idea? As for Mary and Watson, it's easy to assume he might work in a University hospital where Mary's learning the trade after he got out of the war. And love letters should absolutely adorable too. XD

I think we should stick to london area and yes a Robbery will do just fine and work with me XD that'll be fun to do. As really i couldn't think anything else but of that same idea XD As for Mary and Watson, yep it is xP

So I don't mind posting between 4 - 6 for each character, nice to have a range we're both comfortable with. It's been a while since I've been able to sink my teeth into a roleplay.

What kind of robbery are you thinking of? I'd assume maybe Irene has already made some kind of bad reputation for herself?

Alright, alright I got it. She's robbing a high class home for some information for her 'Client' what kind, not sure yet, any ideas? But Already she had hit another place a week ago, and so Sherlock catches on.

And yeah, people tend do so, that's why I didn't specifically say an amount at first to see what you would say XD

Okay, that can work. Maybe her client wants her to get something that once belonged to them but was stolen or something? I dunno. ^^;

You know to maybe "push" the couples closer since at first it might not start anything "interesting" we could maybe have the boys live fairly close to the girls, maybe in the same apartment/neighborhood. I know we could have them bump into each other at The Royal or at the sort of "pub"/I'm at a loss to recall the name of the place where John's stag party was hosted but it's possible they could run into each other there too.

And just to be sure, you post say about the amount I did in the first paragraph of the first post in the thread right? I know some people tend to think paragraphs can just mean a few sentences.

Yep I do XP, though sometimes I don't and have to catch myself or go back and fix it. Because then I got like multiple few sentenced paragraphs that adds up to like eleven when really it is like five or six lol XD Yeah, i know, but I'm trying! DX lol

Anyways, living close is a good idea, that way, they can run into each other more. As well as finally start to invite each other over for like a cup of tea or something XD that makes me laugh for some reason... XD Kind of funny

Oh and as for Irene, something stolen from them works, just not sure what yet. I'll think of something..hmm..

And we can always bring in old flames from the girls' past when things are getting good.

We could say that Irene's client is one spouse and Holmes' is the other who maybe had to separate or divorce?
