[Bad Wolf]

Reza was pacing restlessly as he waiting for Nathan to arrive, his eyes constantly looking out at the window or at the door for signs of his approach. When the man finally did arrive, Reza didn't hesitate to pull him inside and give him a tight hug. He didn't even notice the blood on Nathan's uniform at first. He was just too happy to see Nathan in one piece.

When he pulled back from the hug, that was when he noticed the blood. "Nathan, what happened?" he asked, looking him over in shocked concern. "Are you all right?" The blood didn't seem to be Nathan's since he couldn't spot any visible wounds, but...

His eyes shifted to that pretty golden hue for a few moments as he checked Nathan's aura, wanting to ensure Nathan would tell him the truth about if he was all right or not. What he saw in that aura--or, rather, what he didn't see--made a crestfallen look appear on his face as his eyes returned to normal.

"Who did it?" he asked quietly. "Who Embraced you?"

He shifted uncomfortably, though he wished that the hug had lasted longer, "Esmerelda, the Bishop of the Lasombra..." He said softly, looking away from Reza as if he was a guilty child caught with his hand in the cookie jar. The silence continued until he finally decided to explain it fully to Reza, "I was going to work then some flying monster grabbed me. It was made by a man named Xavier, he does all sorts of crazy things to humans..it brought be to some house in the woods and well, I couldnt call you. I was there till night fall and...it happened, I didnt want them to do it,but..they had a woman,h-human brought in and I...." He trailed off, his hands in his pockets as he stared at the ground, ignoring the small burn in his throat. He realized he couldnt just drink water to quench it now, it would only turn to ash he recalled.

"Sorry, I should have been more careful," He hated seeing that creatfallen look on Reza's face, it didnt suit the man at all and he knew somehow he was partially to blame for it. He wasnt sure if he could meet Reza's gaze, wasnt sure what he would see in his eyes if he did.

If Nathan had looked at Reza's eyes after explaining what had happened, he would have seen a look that was positively murderous. Reza was barely keeping himself calm, but the hands he had on Nathan's shoulders were shaking with his anger. Damn that Lasombra. Damn her! This wasn't going to go unpunished. Reza would tear hear apart with his own hands for doing this to Nathan!

"Can you remember where that house is?" he asked with forced calm. He didn't care if there was a Tzimisce and its monstrous army there. Even better, since that is something the Camarilla would want to know about. He could get a great deal of support for this hunt and he knew it, but only if Nathan remembered how to get to that place.

"Yeah, I think so, it in the woods. I think I could remember where I ran from it. I wouldnt really go there though, its not so much the creatures as it is the fact I shot their Bishop in the back of her head." He realized that he was still gripping on tightly to his gun and promptly dropped it onto the small coffee table. He probably wouldnt be able to report to work with it anymore, at least he didnt have to bother about the bloodstains on his uniform and he could keep his gun with him. It was a hard thing to try and lighten up the grim mood. He could feel the rage seething from all over Reza as he held tightly onto his shoulders.

"Um...Reza, can we take a shower first? Im a little bloody and we can..talk about this." The words sounded so foreboding now, thought Nathan really was looking forward to a nice shower. He needed something to relax him after all of that. He needed Reza next to him again. They also had alot to talk about now, he was all too sure.

Reza had been very focused on making a plan to destroy the Bishop and her allies for this outrage, but Nathan's request for a shower derailed those thoughts. He had to take care of Nathan first. He had to make sure Nathan would be all right. This was all very new to Nathan, and it was probably a bit frightening. Reza's own sire had done an excellent job in making sure Reza adjusted well to his new life, and Reza needed to help Nathan through this as well. He sure as hell wouldn't be letting Nathan's sire do that job. He'd be killing her as soon as he got the opportunity to.

"All right," he agreed with a small nod. "Come on." He took Nathan's hand and went with him into the bathroom to take that shower. It probably wasn't comfortable for Nathan to have blood all over him. The smell of it must be affecting him, since even a full body's worth of blood likely didn't fully satisfy Nathan. The Bishop was probably very old, and that led to some nice benefits for Nathan. Namely, his blood would be more potent. Unfortunately, though, that did mean that he had to drink more at the start in order to be fully sated. Reza's own sire was quite old, and he remembered going through quite the large quantity of blood at first before he was content. It got easier after that first binge drink, at least.

He hesitated for a moment before helping Nathan out of his clothes in the interest of time. The bloody uniform would probably need to be disposed of. He doubted Nathan would be going back to work again. The man should quit now before he had to worry about dodging daytime responsibilities. This was going to be a very hard time for Nathan until he got everything sorted.

"Are you thirsty?" he asked, trying to think of where Nathan could safely get blood from. The option of giving Nathan his own blood did cross his mind, but he wasn't going to suggest it. He didn't know if Nathan would want it.

One disturbing thing that Nathan might notice while in the bathroom was the mirror. Namely, what wasn't being shown in it. Reza was fully visible, but Nathan was not. He had no reflection anymore. He might as well not even be in the room, for all that mirror cared.

He followed Reza into the bathroom, trying to distract himself. He focused on the more positive things, loke how Reza so easily moved around his home, tried to think back before this. It wasnt exactly bad he tried to reason with himself, it was just a little sudden for the both of them and it would take time to get used to and he would probably have to get used to it as well.

It was a immense relief to get out of his bloodied garments, they flopped onto the floor with a splahs instead of the usual ruffling sound. Were they really that heavily stained with blood? He hadnt felt the weight, a glance in the mirror just to see how blood covered he was made him freeze for a moment. That was something he hadnt expected, he didnt think to see or rather not see himself in the mirror. Reza was there, plain as the daylight he would never see again, looking as if he wa holding onto his wrist, but there seemed to be just air where he was. That was certainly shocking in the least and it took awhile before he finally tore his eyes away from the mirror and followed Reza into the shower.

"Yeah, a bit. I dont think I should be after what I already had, but I am a little." He admitted, acknowledging the burning in his throat for the first time after he had fed. It made him think of the woman again and he tried to focus on the warm water washing down his back and the fact that Reza was there as well. He wrapped his arms around the man, once he was out of his clothes, pulling him in for a short quick kiss. He rested his head in the crook of Reza's neck.

"It wasnt so bad, she didnt hurt me or anything. It was just like you said, I really dont remember dying either." He said softly closing his eyes as he felt the blood wash away. He missed the scent of it, but it felt better not on his skin.

Reza seemed relieved that Nathan hadn't been hurt. The man was really taking this whole change of lifestyle into stride, and Reza was proud of him for it. It made him smile slightly when Nathan said that he didn't remember what it was like to die. He was glad of it. No doubt remembering it would be a horrible experience.

"There is a clan that claims to remember what it was like for them to die," he said, holding Nathan close under the spray of the shower. "The Malkavians. The entire clan is insane, and they verbally blame it on remembering what they saw on the other side before waking up again. You can take that claim with a grain of salt, I suppose. It's not exactly wise to trust anything a Malkavian says. They're very...strange. I imagine you'll be meeting some soon enough. I don't want you to get hunted because you didn't adhere to the Camarilla's rules. This is their city, after all."

He was only now realizing just how much he needed to tell Nathan in the coming nights. There was so much for him to learn, and Reza had every intention of treating him like he would his own childe. That meant taking him back home and ensuring that his elders would accept him despite his unwanted Lasombra heritage. He wanted Nathan to be an honorary Assamite, if he couldn't be a true Assamite. Of course, there was the very disturbing and frightening chance that his elders would order Nathan's destruction...

He frowned slightly at that, hearing about hom not adhering to the new rules he was meant to follow, "Esmerelda really said some bad things about your clan too, I really don't like her. She actually thought I would willingly and so easily join her clan. She threatened to force me into a blood bond." He murmured, his words muffled as he nuzzled against Reza. "Just wish I shot her twice before I left." He listened with interest to Reza talking about the Malkavians, it was probably somethig Reza would not have told him before when he was human. At least now, they would be able to be more open with each other and well they hadnt really tested out any of the things Nathan wanted to try.

He opened his eyes and looked at Reza, gently grasping his chin and leaning in for a kiss. It was still a chaste one, he didnt want to ruin this gentle moment they were having, but it was much longer than any kiss they had shared before. When he pulled away he smiled because he didnt have to pull away because he needed to breathe.

Reza was going to ask Nathan to stop talking about the Bishop, but he was interrupted by the kiss Nathan gave him. It was all-too-easy to kiss the man in return and just let his anger slip away for now. He didn't want to have to think about all of this stuff tonight. It was as sudden for Reza as it was for Nathan. Neither of them had been ready for Nathan to be Embraced, least of all by someone other than Reza.

He returned the man's smile when he pulled away from the kiss. "I'm glad you still want to be with me," he said. "It's because of me that you're like this now..." He was blaming himself for all of this. If Nathan had never met him, Nathan wouldn't have had his life stolen like this.

"Eventually it was going to happen.." He said softly, finally mustering the will to grab some soap and start shampooing his own hair and Reza's. The man didnt really need to be cleaned, but Nathan did it all the same wanting to feel the soft strands between his fingers and it was one way to reassure the man not to worry. He ran his hands gently along Reza's sides, taking that time to pull him into a slippery hug. "I would always still wanna be with you. So it really doesnt matter the circumstance..." He would have to make a call to his boss, tell him he was quiting suddenly with no good explanation why and cut off almost all ties with his co worker friends. For now though, he could take comfort in the fact he could spend the day sleeping with Reza.

"Do you want to stay here tonight?" He asked softly as he rinsed the soap of both of them, he knew Reza probably wouldnt go without him for at least today when he was just getting used to it. He didnt know if perhaps they should go to Reza's own home, he didnt really care. He was just a bit thirsty and that was all that bothered him really as he wrapped the towel around them both drying themselves off.
