Jack couldnt help but laugh from the sight of Reece tripping. but then immeadiately stopping in his tracks from the sound of something metal falling. (did reece drop the musket He made for him?) "Umm, what was thaa-" Reece said right before he started wrestling a zombie on the ground. staring in shock as it was the body he stabbed of the man earlier. he must not of hit the spinal chord. "What are you waiting for? Kill it!" Reece cried, holding its head just right for a quick stomp to the ear. effectively bouncing its skull off the cracked concrete, instantly paralyzing it. "you spend your entire life hunting bears in the pitch black in the middle of the woods, and you let one zombie trip you up in a basement?" Jack teased. "jeeze man youve lost your touch." he gave a quick grin as he picked up the makeshift musket Reece dropped. as he tossed the musket, he heard another metal noise. this time repetitious, almost like a signal. "its coming from behind that door." Jack shouted as he ran towards the door. effectively tripping over the dead zombie and falling flat on his face. (should of seen that coming)
Riku watched Jack stomp on the monsters head, but then walked past the two. He turned hearing Jack fall, but then turned back opening the door to the basement. "Hello! Akira are you in here?" Riku stood by the door, due to the darkness. The small light from the doorway didn't help much either. It wouldn't have been smart to just walk in blindly.

Rhea could barely see what was going on, since she was all the way in the back, but she did know thay someone had gotten into a little trouble with a zombie. The sound of its skull craking vibrated inside the small area, signalling that it had been killed. In then dim light of the building, she was able to make out Jack,'s figure and his epic fail moment of face palming the floor. Giggling softly, she quietly asked him if he was okay.

"Yea, never better..." he grunted. Picking the loose gravel out og his face. "Is she in there? I heard another noise coming from over there." Jack readied his knife preparing for the worst. She's been gone so long, there's a possibility that she may have been bit... or already turned. He hopes that her team is ready for that if or when the time comes.wishing he had more bullets, he never really liked using knives. He was nowhere near nimble when handling them. "We need to find her. Then we need to keep moving. We can't stay here any longer. We made too much noise already." Remembering the sounds of gunshots, screaming and metal hitting bone. All can be heard from wandering zeds.
Reece catches the makeshift musket in hand and rubs the dirt and dust from his pants.
"You took your time" Reece whispered, but Jack didn't reply as he'd tripped and fell on his face. Reece let out a loud snort as he covered his mouth with his hand.
"I take you hunting with me all those times and you trip over an already dead zombie?... Karma is a bitch." Reece snickered.
Reece steps over the Zeds body and hangs back behind Riku, near the dark doorway.
"I dare ya'" Reece joked.

Riku smirked and looked at Reece. "Since I've been dared..." His eyes adjusted to the dark and noticed something in the far corner. He walked forward, sword in hand, and cautiously looked around. "Akira...is the you?" He wasn't sure if she had turne into a zombie, or if it was even her. He paused when he accidentally kicked a can.
Riku breathed deeply and continued forward slowly.

Deciding that she should cover Riku, Rhea proceeded catiously after him, her dagger held up and ready to strike if necessary. She jumped a little when the can was kicked and waited to see if anything else would pop up out of no where before continuing forward. "I got your back." She whispered.

Akira hears the voices, the struggle, the fresh 'crack' of skull against stone, and finally, when Riku calls out to her, she finds her voice. "R-Riku, I'm right here.." She whimpers softly, her ankle throbbing in pain. She slowly slides herself up the wall, steadying herself on one foot. "I broke my ankle, Riku.. I'll need help up the stairs.." Akira tries to control the wheezing, not wanting to alert the others of her asthma.
Reece hears Akira's voice.
A smile lifts upon his face, not because he's found her but because he can now find his equipment.
He listens as Akira lets Riku know that she's broke her ankle. "Don't be too hasty Riku. She could be bitten..." Reece whispers.
He looks back towards Jack and Rhea and waves his arms signalling them to bring themselves forward.

Riku nodded and stopped in his tracks. "Akira, have you been bitten?" He could at least try that approach, but to know if she was lying or not would have been based on luck. He inched forward, tapping the ground in front of him. "Where are you anyways?"
