Limits to Morality

Synopsis:

Limits to Morality is a religion themed Roleplay taking place during the First Industrial Revolution. It follows the adventure of Lucifer and five summoned Protectors, as they work to gain key Day Pieces, items that represent the days it took God to create the world. Only five of the pieces are up for grabs, due to the sixth being Lucifer and Liliana, and the seventh being nonexistent.

The RP itself is a take off from several religions in which God created the world in seven days - however, in this incarnation, he stops short. The first five days, while different than what is in the bible, are complete and each have an item that represents what was created on that day. The sixth day, God declared “No One Entity Shall Rule”, and split himself into two entities, Lucifer and Liliana. These two act as shells, emotionless, organ-less, shells. They are ultimately ‘houses’ for the day pieces, which act as organs. While they are able to talk and move, they are one-dimensional at the beginning. Lucifer is the good guy of the story, while Liliana acts as the antagonist - both want the Day Pieces, for different reasons. Lucifer wants them to keep his father’s wishes, thus, will attempt to gain them and spread them out for another few millennia. Liliana wants the pieces to become God and ‘fix’ the world, and rule it as her own.

The Day Pieces grant Lucifer and Lilana their own abilities, in addition to what they already have. Both are already immune to certain things at the start, and as they gain pieces start to become immune to other things, as well as gain powers associated with the Day Pieces. Both can gain the knowledge and abilities of people by absorbing/eating them(Favored method of Liliana). The pieces are:

Day 1: Passage of Times
Day 2: Space
Day 3: Plants
Day 4: Flow of time
Day 5: Animals
Day 6: Humans

The Protectors, who are summoned by Lucifer, have their own abilities which grow as they travel the land searching for the rest of the pieces, in order to protect the world from Liliana. There are five of them.

The first industrial revolution is well underway, people are prospering and the world over is evolving. For the people of the world, this is a grand time, and the last thing on their mind is a power struggle between two entities made from God himself. Yet, when a strange dream awakens both Lucifer and Liliana, the world becomes a feasting ground for Liliana, and a place for Lucifer to protect. Sensing what Liliana wants, Lucifer summons five protectors, beings immune to the effects of the Day Pieces and starts a harrowing race to find the Day Pieces and keep the world the way it is - before Liliana can take control of it and make it Hell on Earth.

Tidbits:

The RP is the brainchild of Valcherion.
There may or may not be some mature tones in the RP, including Murder and Cannibalism, as well as potential Detective overtones and world-wide exploration.
Undecided is the location and the method of accepting people: Either first come, first serve, or best sheets.

At this point in time, we aren't too sure about the current/working title.
So we ask that you folks to suggest some names.
Current suggestions are as such:
1. Limits to Morality
2. Wayward God
3. The Seventh Day

What is going on here exactly?

I mean, the plot seems interesting and all, but I don't really get what part we play. I'm assuming the protectors are the player characters, but are they some sort of adventuring party or what?

Anyway, I'm looking at a couple other RP's at the moment but if they fall through I'll seriously consider this one, just so you have some idea of the interested parties involved. I also tentatively put forward the name 'Seven faces of evil' as a possible title.

Also, I'm no where near as angry as usual so it's ok, you can let me into your RP and I won't argue or anything, honest.

Another question just occurred to me, is the possibility of going rogue and helping the antagonist a possibility? Just wondering.

I certainly like the setting anyway, I'm playing fable 3 through again and it's oddly fitting.

Which means I have go learn about it.
