Lacey listened intently to the conversation and it clicked. He knows. Lacey would have turned, but she gave Remus a look and motioned to her wand in her lap with her eyes, but Sirius stood up. "Why don't you crawl back in your hole, Narcissa?"he hissed, and when Narcissa moved she was thrown back and Sirius' eyes travelled over to Lacey whose wand was out. Narcissa stood up, her face blistering with warts that earned laughs from the Gryffindor table. "Lacey..."

"She moves to harm you guys. I don't take kindly to it."she admitted, going back to eating her dinner before she got a look from the teacher's table, and their head of house came over.

"Detention, my office, tomorrow after class Miss Tearstone."they hissed in her ear and she nodded, but shrugged.

"Oh well. Least it isn't scrubbing potion cauldrons. "She said, and she went back to eating before shooting Alex a look. They would need to talk later because that exchange with Narcissa definitely made sense now. The messages, the secrecy... somehow Tom Riddle knew their secrets. How she had no idea, or maybe he was just guessing at it, but it just made her realize things were n't the same.

Sirius looked to Lacey and then to Alex, he couldn't help but laugh as Narcissa went crying down the hall, but something was up. Narcissa was willing to duel for the information. Then Lacey stepped in. Something was going on, but he couldn't place it. It was odd, but he noted how Lucius was shooting dirty looks their way, and Tom Riddle was staring again. Sirius was sick of it, but instead of yelling, he looles to Alex and Lacey.

"Alex, if you need to clean up, I'll head out with you. I need a minute of air."She said, getting up and taking Alex's arm and walking out with her. She whispered. "He knows."

Sirius watched the girls walk oit amd he leanes his head against the table. "Remus. James. I think I screwed up with Alex."he said.

"How? You two seemed pretty close in the hallway." James said and Sirius looked at him.

"We skipped, and I chickenes out of telling her, but she said she had feelings for someone already."he cast his eyes down. "Sometimes makes me wish I had your confidence."he chuckkes looking at James.

"Take a page from Remus' book. Just do little things."he said.
