Name: Dr Edgar. AKA: Stitches
Edgar has two physical forms that he switches in and out of. One is human looking, while the other is...vaguely human. Both, hold the psychotic power of a monster.
In his first, human form, Edgar is a dark-haired man who wears the usual doctor clothing. Inside his doctors jacket though, are various scalpels and syringes, each most likely covered in some sort of pain-enhancing poison. He wears round glasses, and has short brown hair he always keeps combed back. His eyes are a light blue, and have bloodshot veins reaching towards the iris. He usually keeps a calm demeanor in combat when in this form, and shows enjoyment when hurt in any physical form. Heck, at first you would probably expect this man to be a normal doctor...until he proves just how dangerous and evil a single man can be.
In his second form, Stitches still appears to be human. However, it looks as though someone kidnapped him and tortured him in painful and cruel ways. First, he is bald in this form, which is up to questioning, due to how his scalp is missing several chunks of skin. His eyelids have been closed and sewn shut, with a metal wire that seems to slice into his skin whenever he tries to open them. Wrapped tightly around his chest, are several strands of barbed wire that cause bleeding in simple movements. Along his arms are long red scars, surrounded by smaller, still bleeding ones. Around fifteen strands of barbed wire appear to be attached to something inside his back, and will resist being pulled off. In this form, Stitches shows his gentlemanly side.
Edgars past is quite long and mostly boring, so I'll simply give the cliff-notes version for now. One day after torturing a man in his private room, Edgar was contacted by his worlds Dread-Lord of Pain: Axilna. Axilna offered Edgar a choice of becoming his servant, and gaining the ability to bring his work to many...many people. Happily Edgar accepted, getting painfully transformed into his current form. During the process, Axilna thought he detected something different in Edgar, bu simply threw the thought aside. Problem was, Edgar was different from normal humans. In the fact that he was a masochist of the highest degree, actually feeling pleasure instead of pain, due to a genetic deformity of some sort.
Edgar served Axilna quite happily for a few years. Until Edgar decided he wanted to experience what Axilna did, the pain of every single being in the universe at once. So with careful planning and research on forbidden magics, Edgar waited for an opportunity to strike. Which he did, in the form of using his own soul to bind Axilna within a small object, which Edgar contained through devouring the object whole. In this way, Edgar had claimed Axilna's power for his own, and declared himself the new lord of Pain...
Of course, it would take many more years for others to recognize his new title. Until then, he would do his duties happily and often.
Class: Don't worry, he's a doctor...
Innate Skill: Pain to Pleasure- Any damage that Edgar takes is converted into TP. Through this method, Edgar can actually break past his current maximum of TP temporarily. However, Edgar refuses to be healed by anyone other than himself, and blocks out any group healing that is aimed towards him.
EXP multiplier: 2x..?
(Doctor form) Attacks:
Scalpel slice-Melee range
Edgar slashes at an enemy with his scalpel, causing 1 damage and a 25% chance to cause a "bleed" status effect. Bleed deals 1 damage per turn, but can easily be stopped by any form of healing. Note that Bleed cannot effect certain targets, depending on what kind of creature the target is.
Thrown Scalpel-Range of 2
Edgar throws a scalpel forward, dealing 1 damage to whatever he hits.
Self-mutilate- Targets self
Edgar pulls a scalpel from his jacket, and begins to slice into himself madly. Deals 3 damage to himself, and has a 15% chance to cause the status effect "Frightened" to anyone within 2 spaces of him. Frightened makes the effected player deal 1 less damage, and the effect doubles whenever frightened is stacked.
Pain-enforcing toxin- Melee range
Edgar injects a toxin into the enemy, dealing only 1 damage at first. This special has an absolute chance of giving the status effect "Burning wounds", which causes all damage received to increase by 1. Costs 3 TP, but at the cost of 2 additional TP, pain-enforcing toxin instead gives the status effect of "Acidic wounds" which increase damage taken by 2.
Poisonous syringe- Melee range, but at the cost of 2 additional Tp it can be thrown at the range of 2.
Edgar stabs a syringe into the enemy, causing the status effect "Poisoned". Poisoned obviously deals 1 damage each turn, and can actually stack up to 3 times. Costs 4TP to use.
Unmedicated first aid- Target self.
Edgar performs a small bit of first aid, healing 3 HP. Costs 3TP to use. Can be used on both allies...and enemies?
Doctors betrayal- Targets everyone healed by Edgar.
Edgar reveals that he actually injected a special kind of poison into everyone he 'healed'. The effects of the poison then take effect, being a combination of "Burning Wounds" and "Poisoned". Costs 6TP to use. This is why you check your doctor out first kids!
Phase 1 Hyper:
Surgical nightmare- Melee range.
Edgar slices into the target and opens up the wound, injecting several different toxins inside. He then promptly sows them up, and watches what happens next. Causes Burning wounds and Poison, along with dealing 2 damage.
Phase 2 Hyper:
Private practise- Targets self
Edgar raises a wall of barbed wire around himself, which is so thick that nobody can see through it. After it falls down, Edgar will have healed 7HP and removed any and all status effects on him.
Phase 3 Hyper:
Nightmare toxin- 1 square surrounding Edgar
Edgar creates a poisonous mist around himself, laughing as his enemies breath in the fumes. The mist causes Acidic wounds, Poisoned stack 3, and Frightened. No actual damage is done by the attack itself.
A barbed wire stabs out from Stitches arm, and slashes into an enemy. Deals 2 damage.
Barbed wire spear-Forward range of 2, pierces through targets
Stitches holds his arm out, and a barbed wire fires out from it and through enemies. Deals 1 damage to all targets hit.
Self Mutilation- Target self
Multiple barbed wires stab out from Stitches...and curve to pierce right back into his skin. Deals 5 damage to himself and has a 30% chance to cause frighten.
Rising impaler- Target within 2 spaces away from Stitches
A twirled together spike of barbed wire breaks out from the ground beneath the enemy, and pierces straight into him. For one turn, the enemy is unable to move around. Causes 4 damage at the cost of 5TP
Barbed armor- Target self
Wires wrap around Stitches, enough so that the resulting armor is thick enough to repel blows. Also, anyone who attacks the armor without a weapon finds themselves taking 1 damage on every hit. Damage reduced is 1. Costs 2HP per turn.
Barbed hurricane- Surrounds Stitches
Wires spread out of Stitches, and begin to spin around him at a rapid rate. This creates a swirling force of barbed wire, that deals 2 damage per turn to anyone stuck inside it. Obviously, it also cuts most non-ground based range attacks apart. Costs 3TP per turn.
Phase 1 Hyper:
Barbed Terror-Melee range
Stitches stabs three wires into an enemy, and lifts him into the air. Stitches then begins to rapidly and repeatedly stab the victim, dealing up to 6 damage. Has a 10% chance to cause frighten to anybody within 2 squares of this act.
Phase 2 Hyper:
Pain's torment-Anybody within 2 spaces of Stitches
Stitches decides to let others temporarily receive his 'gift' of pain-absorbing. This causes the victims to experience any and all pain currently within the world. Deals 7 damage and puts the victims into a frightened and stunned state. The stun lasts for one turn, but the frightened status cannot be cured in this battle. Anyone already in frightened status will actually be stunned for 2 turns, essentially becoming a weeping and shaking shell of a man.
Phase 3 Hyper:
Private Victim-Melee range
A large wall rises around Stitches and his victim, blocking out view from the outside. However, screams of pain can be heard from within, often begging for some sweet end. This last's for 3 turns (Or one depending on the game-mode) and causes frighten to anyone who gets close to Stitches and the victim. Each turn, the victim is dealt 2 damage. Not bad right? Considering "Acidic wounds" is applied on the first turn, it isn't going to get any better. On the second turn, a status effect called "Shattered mind" falls on the victim. Shattered mind is like frightened, except the damage reduction is 2, and TP costs are increased by 1. On the final turn, the status effect "Wish of death" comes upon the victim. With this status effect, the victim will take 3 damage each turn in self-injurying ways, and the victim is unable to access the quantum gauge. This last effect only lasts two turns, so it isn't that bad...
