[The Mourning]

Edgar turns towards the primid upon the ground, a small grin upon his face. "Yes, this is a good time to attack this foe...Yu, I hope you don't mind me helping you hurt this creature, do you?" Even if Yu said no, Edgar readied one of his many scalpels. "I'm always interested in exploring the pain of others...!" With that said, Edgar switched out the scalpel for an odd needle...

...and gently stuck it into the creatures arm. Upon doing so, the liquids inside filled whatever counted as it's bloodstream. Once that was done, Edgar stood up and watched his 'allies' a scalpel ready in his hand.

Upon saying that Omni produces a screen with Yu's face on it and projects it forward, then leaning forward he sprints through it very quickly transforming midflight into Yu before placing himself on G6 (doubled evasion stance sprint of epic 4 spaces), A somewhat blueish copy of Izanagi appears beside him as a floating Tarot card engulfed in blue energy shatters in the air appearing infront of Darkmega on G5.

The Strike hits the Mannequin Yu, in the shin knocking it over as Darkmega brings the axe overhead and cleaves the partially sparking image of Yu in half removing the fake in a small explosion as the Mannequin's system's fails. The Sparking remnants melt away into white energy as it desynchronizes.



Mannequin takes 3-1 (2) damage, which is enough to defeat it. With the destruction of the Mannequin the Izanagi copy belonging to it dissipates into ones and zeros due to being a solid hologram.


"Intriguing resolve. However that does not make you fearless," Omni replies fixing the glasses he was now wearing thanks to being Yu.

"All I can do is live the moment. Ragin at some Hacks using Super mob cause I wasn't ready ain't gonna change anything even if it helps void the annoyance. So I might aswell give it everything when I can and run the hell away if I can't!"

Edgar looked towards the sword-wielding creature, the light reflecting off of his glasses. Looking at it's darkened wounds from Yu's Zio attack, Edgar put his hand to his chin and hummed in thought. "Why, you appear to be damaged. Sad thing is, I don't feel any true pain coming from you because of it." Edgar walked towards the creature, standing close enough to attack. Twirling a needle with red fluids within it, the Doctor gave the creature a primal glare. "Maybe I can fix that."

When Omni mentioned the Midnight Channel, Yu's eyes narrowed slightly. If Syrus is the one who made this world, and if it is supposed to be similar to the Midnight Channel... Would that make him the same as Ameno-sagiri and Izanami? If that is the case, then he better keep his eyes open. Even if there is no fog, he could tell that the man was hiding something from them, some truth that he will reveal. For now though... The Sword Primid slashed him, striking him in the chest. He looked down at himself, noticing a lack of a bleeding gash. How is that possible? He could have sworn he felt what should have been a gash, and he saw that Primid get singed earlier. Then again, how are they in what is being described as a virtual world? It was unlikely that all of them were simply locked up in a chamber or something, and there wasn't any portals involved that he can recall. There's something odd about this. But first...
"Izanagi," he said, the Persona appearing behind Yu and lifting its blade. A glow surrounded Yu, as he brought his katana into a fighting stance. The glow concentrated on the sword. "Strike!" He yelled, slashing with his katana.

[The Mourning]

Edgar laughed at first, believing this little creature to be quite weak. Of course, that was when a glorious rush of pain throbbed across his chest, in the form of three gashes. Except, the pain didn't seen to leave any physical marks. Not that it mattered, the creatures final blow actually had some strength behind it, surprising Edgar and knocking him unto his back. Expecting to get attacked even more, Edgar frowned when the sword-wielder ran off.

The Primids high five as darkmega goes down, hitting the ground with a thud, "Heheh... This... always happens...right when... it's gonna get good..." The world around darkmega then begins to evaporate and turn to white as he Desynchronizes but... he feels something grab his colar and pull him up. It's omni as a robot now, "what do you want now...?" Darkmega asked, still a little grogged.

"you're a hard one to break. But even the mighty go down. It's not a bad thing to be cautious..." Omni says planting him back onto his feet in a completely white room, "but allow me to teach you an ability that everyone could learn to use. It'll give you a second go if used properly."

Tutorial pop-up: Use Repulsion waves to break out of combinations and attacks you don't want to be in. this removes enemies from the 3x3 area around you, knocking them back for heavy damage. Use this at the opportune moment to save yourself from long chains, and in the roleplayer sense, get a second go at not dieing. it's undodgeable too, but it can't beat actual characters. Standard enemies will be destroyed by them though.

"What the f*** was that pop-up just now?" Darkmega asks, Omni's face just turns serious, meaning he had just accidentally broken the fourth wall.

"Try it..." Omni says standing back.

Time rewinds to the point of the primid about to kick him as Darkmega faces the monk leaping into the air like some crazy martial artist and lets out a loud shriek like tone because he couldn't understand it (without a translator) which could break a microphone and kicks at him.

[!!!]Darkmega uses a repulsion wave (gameplay section explains it) to negate the kick removing the hit of 1.5 damage and consuming that much TP for the damage recieved. Quantum gauge down by 3. all buffs removed. Sword primid takes 3+2(acidic wounds) damage and dies, monk primid is blasted back 2 spaces for 3 damage.

Quantum Phase 2 charged!

Darkmega's suit charges with purple energy, "GO DIE IN A FIRE, ALL OF YOU!" he yells and thrusts his arms out beside him letting out an explosive wave dragonball Z style cracking the ground and knocking the sword primid and Monk primid back before the foot plants into his face.

Darkmega taps the side of his helmet and the visor lights up with a targeting reticule as the area morphs into a cutscene attack in a large area surrounded by minecraftian mountains and scenery.

"hey shadowglacier!" Darkmega calls out to a man in a blue creeper shirt with blondish hair on a nearby blocky hill accompanied by a large double barrel TNT cannon with an automatic reloading catridge box built above it.

"Huh? just a sec!" shadow glacier calls then finally reaches the top of the hill, "I'm here!"

"Fire away. see if you can hit the target!" Darkmega replies, the monk primid then notices that the 5x5 are around him turned into a giant white and red target and he sweatdrops.

The TNT cannon springs to life as in bunches of two TNT start flying. Several shots impact badly blowing holes in the target making a crater as the monk primid attempts to jump out, but unfortunately the TNT lands nearby exploding. two of them splashing him with shrapnel, a 3rd hits close and blows a bunch of blocks out of the hole in a flashy explosion as darkmega shields his eyes.

"The heck was in that one?" darkmega calls up, then magically begins flying towards the hill thanks to "Swift wolf's rending gale" an equivalent exchange item then enables flight for the sake of the cutscene, then looks in the chest near the cannon to find there were a few industrialcraft nukes...

"Heheh. you said we weren't gonna use the place so I thought we might aswell trash it!" Shadowglacier laughs.

darkmega lightly punches him, "Idiot. Hahaha," They both start laughing.

"Guess i hit the target huh?! XD" the two then smile and walk off away from the explosion down the side of the hill as the smoke clears and the cutscene fades out.

The Monk primid takes 3+3+9 damage and is knocked down from the hit but dies from it anyway.

Darkmega reappears on his panel clutching his head. "The hell just happened? I thought I saw...Shadowglacier..."

Omni stood up from being knocked down and his hologram faded leaving him as a robot as he walked forward. Darkmega got a little tense but he noticed the highlight around him faded away back to white and so did everyone elses, "Congratulation, you've all passed," Omni said approaching them.

"What...What was that just now?" Darkmega asked, wondering about what he just did.

"The system is programmed to watch over special built in emotion levels that build up as subjects fight for their lives. We believe that these emotions being built up over time are the source of Determination and Resolve and proper harnessing can break you out of any situation, like a type of stimulant released for survival, and an Adrenaline Surge in dire times. This surge we called "Quantum Levels" and embodies itself differently in all subjects."

"So, basically it's just an impulsive special attack...?" Darkmega asked, scratching the top of his head softly.

"In essence, you could call it that," Omni replied with a nod, "There was meant to be one more wave but Syrus just informed me that the Central HUB is now ready for your viewing in the main world. Do any of you have anymore questions before we leave?"

(I'll tally the EXPs after that... and cause it was a team game I'll combine them and then split it evenly rather than doing separate EXPs... otherwise I think most of it will go to me and it'll be unfair. >_>)

"Not so much a question as a warning," Yu said, walking up to Omni. With a flash of steel, both his blade and Izanagi's blade were level with the robot's head. At this point, it looked like he was about ready to behead the robot with a single move. "You let Syrus know that I will play along with his little game for now, but if he does anything to get Nanako involved, his life will be forfeit."
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the 'Sis-con Bancho of Steel' going into full-on 'protective older brother' mode. The fact this world seems so much like the Midnight Channel makes him think of what happened when Nanako, his little cousin in Elementary School, who is really more like an adorable little sister to him, wound up in that place. Needless to say, it took a lot of restraint to keep him from ending the guy who was the main suspect of the incident, so that they could find out who the true mastermind was, while the man was bed-ridden in the hospital. He took a deep breath, calming himself down and taking his blade away from Omni's neck, sheathing it. At the same time, Izanagi disappeared, a single tarot card landing gently in Yu's hand before it disappeared as well.
((Yeaaaah, being a threat to Nanako, preceived or otherwise, is a major berserk button with Yu. If you value your life, you do NOT mess with people that look like they could be someone's kid sister when he's around.))
