"Full House." James said, laying down his cards.
"I don't think he was a Loyalist," Jack said," I know what most of the higher up Loyalists look like and he didn't look like any of them. And his clothes stuck out too much to be a lower level one or even just someone from one of the towns. Their clothes aren't that formal. I'm not sure who he is, but there's a possibility he's a Legion member. Next time we see him, we're going to attack, no matter what he says. I can't though, there's too much risk for me to join, since I'm the only one who can get in the base."

Tyki ended the game the next turn, having gotten one of the cards he needed and filling the last one with his wild card. "Straight," he said.
"Full House." James said, laying down his cards.

It was only until Dergus arrived in the middle of Mastersons did he realize where he was again. Lost. Not having done much until this point has really, gotten him lost. " Now... The old man wanted me to meet someone here.... Hopefully they're not annoying."
"Geez, are you just going to win every single time?," he asked," Maybe I should quit playing cards all together. It appears I'm not any good at it anymore. Either that or you really are cheating."
"Maybe I just have some innate skill at it." he said. "I have no reason to cheat, really."

Ba'al was undaunted by his failure. So, they were too blind to accept his help. Apparently redemption was impossible to these people. His eyes held a little twinkle in them. He could use that against them. Use their own words against them, and tell the people that the Resistance would not accept you even if they bothered try to defect. That would decrease their support in a hurry.
He quickly made his way back to his base to make new plans. So they had rejected him. He would still be victorious.

"Alright," said Reese, though he was a bit unsure. He didn't know enough about these Loyalists. Maybe he was on the wrong side. He did only have their word to go on after all. He'd try to find out more when he could.
"So, where is the base exactly?"

"Right here," Jack said with a smile, then fiddled with his vortex manipulator again until it appeared for them," I hid it in a small one second time bubble, that way unless you have a vortex manipulator like mine, you can't get in or out. Which I can switch between the two. I usually do it to let people on or out. I don't let anyone in who isn't with another member of the Rebellion though. That's also why I've got the code names. It helps me figure out if the person is really the person. Who knows, there might be a shape shifter out there. With some of the people I've met, I wouldn't doubt it."
Tai looked around upon hearing Jack's explanation. As if looking around for Shape-shifters.
"Oh right, You can't tell a shape-shifter just by looking for one. ...Anyways, ...What to do next, Cap'n?" He asked Jack.

"Ok then, Follow me." He said, trying to sound as commanding and dutiful as he could in that goofy voice of his before walking in the direction he's smelling.

Exodos saw as the Black Rook left the white side, retreating in a straight line back to his entry point. He gave a little chuckle and a slow applause as he watched move.
"Of all the pieces in every game of chess I've seen, this is the most entertaining. I could watch this little rook forever. ...But I should focus on the entirety of the game, rather then a mere piece of it." Exodos said to himself, noticing the Black Bishop near another Black Rook.
"The Demoness will meet with the Demon Lord, through her information, a chain of events shall be made. ...I'm interested in seeing how you effect this game at hand, ...Dergus." He said. He then saw that the three pieces of the grey, the grey knight, bishop, and queen, finally moving away from their positions. The gray side was special, as it had no pawns, only the more important pieces, making it the smallest of these three factions. The Grey King seemed to have been with a Black Knight for a long while now. While these three seemed to be heading for the other Black Knight.
"...Perfect, spares him the trouble of finding out for himself if he could blend in with the stars. ...This is your chance to put golden heart to good use, my General. ...Do not disappoint me." Exodos then said.
