"Golden fla- what?" Akane asked, now she was somewhat interested. She also let her guard down, because she obviously didn't have anything like a 'golden flame'. "Well I hope you find your person, ha..." She said to the odd man before adding, "I'll just go now..."

Only after Koichi managed to save himself, Ami stopped struggling and let the flames disappear from the gloves and her forehead. "What do you mean 'doesn't have to be this way'? ...I'm not allowed to give up! I'm supposed to fight for the Vongola, it was his dying wish!" She cried, referring to her late father.

A firey haired man watched this battle as well, seemingly unfased by the illusion and the battle going on. He kept a mammon chain on his strange pentacle shaped ring, but even so his intense flame could be felt. "Kid, this is too much for you to handle. Let the lil' Vongola 'handle' this like she said she would." He called over at Koichi, trying to sway his mind before the skilled illusionist made another move. It would be in his best interests that Koichi survives...

Cronic merely looked at Shion's eviscerated corpse, then back to Casada. "...I have no reason to fight you unless you give me one. The child was in over his head. It's no suprise he got himself killed." Cronic said to her. "I've walked across many battlefields, and I've seen, and caused, so much death, I've become neutral to it. But I'm guessing you're not going to buy that technicality. To you, an opponent is an opponent. And if anyone gets in your way, you cut them down with neither remorse nor mercy." Cronic said, as he raised his right hand to hold it diagonally in front of his chest, showing his A-class ring to Casada. "...I won't fight you. But if you make the first move, it's a different story."

[The Jest]

Manuel bowed as he got out of her way to pass.

"I do apologize if I caused you to be late for anything with my questions." He smoothly said.

"Your holier-than-thou act is starting to annoy me, asshole. ...But alright, clearly you sound like much more fun then this kid. Let's see what you've got." Casada said as she dashed towards at Cronic with inhuman speeds, going for a diagonal cut through him when close enough.

"...Two targets confirmed. Koichi Hibari, and an unknown of the Sky. ...Targets are to be removed from the zone of interference by any means necessary." A girl's voice said emotionlessly, echoing around Koichi and the man as the world around them started to shift and turn. To Ami and Janus, it would look as if they just disappeared.

The next thing Koichi would know, he was in another part of town. Where as the other man was teleported on the other side of it.

"Well, well, well...What do we have here? ...Cloud flames detected, ...Heh, Guess I was too hopeful that there wasn't any contenders for the Cloud Ring left." A voice from behind Koichi said. If he turned around, he'd see a man, Daydeto, walking towards him, his coat blowing in the wind.

"You fight to protect, but there are more ways to protect the ones you love then simply fighting and winning battles. Fighting is not always the answer, child. I understand, however, that surrender isn't an easy decision to make. ...But you are destined to be the next leader of the Vongola organization, are you not? A leader must make hard decisions, decisions that aren't always liked by others, but must be made to support and protect them." Janus said. She can tell by the look in her eyes, and the flames disappearing, that she lost her resolve to fight. As such, he let go of her hand, letting her drop completely to her knees.

"You are not a fighter, but that does not mean you are not a leader, that does mean you can't protect the ones love in other ways. Let's stop this madness. My men are ordered by the will of the White Light to attack all contenders of the guardians, two are injured, two are already....deceased. But the main target is you, you who are now Vongola's boss, you whose opinion is the opinion of all of Vongola, if you surrender now. I can call off all of my men, and that will be the end of it. Surrender is all I want from you, not your life. ...It can even be conditional, if you wish." Janus said. He placed his hand on Ami's shoulder as a way of supporting her.

"I have killed many in my time, and I don't wish to kill anyone else unless I have to, especially not one so young as yourself. Unlike me, you still have a future, still young, as is your brother, and your friends. Don't waste your future, or theirs, by fighting this meaningless battle." He said to her.

The man with the firey hair blinked a few times, then facepalmed. "Perfect. Here's hoping that Hibari Koichi survives wherever he is now. I'll need to find other candidates to add to my list if not..." He said to himself as he walked away from Namimori Town and towards Kokuyo Land. The illusionist seemed intent on keeping the battles seperate, so he would honour this 'wish', if you could call it that. As he walked, another group wearing black uniforms with yellow stripe patterns also made their way towards Namimori, but in no rush of course. They had exactly the same idea about the illusion... The leader of this group glared at the firey haired man, as did he in response.

Ami shook fearfully with Janus' words, she didn't realise any of it until now... Leadership meant having to choose the best course of action - obviously surrender in this situation; at least, that's what Ami wanted. What would the other members of the family think or do? Surrender would be cowardice in any hardcore mafia boss' book, surely? The confused girl looked up at Janus, "...I-I don't want anyone else to get hurt or worse..." Her eyes started to well up at the thought of losing Ryoji and the others who had been targeted. "I want to surrender. Please, call off your men!"

Her heart felt like it had been grabbed and crushed with piercingly cold hands. What would her father think? Or any of the previous Vongola bosses? What would everyone else in the family think? She tried to stop thinking about it, though she could only feel a guilty pressure.

"No, no, it's fine! Again, hope you find your person," and with a wave Akane began walking home.

"ARGH!" Yuuji woke up in cold sweat. He was no longer on the roof, and his wounds seemed to have been healed rather quickly. He checked his surroundings. When did I get to Kokuyo...? he thought, scratching his head. He then remembered he should have a grievous wound on his ribs. It seemed the flesh had healed, but not the bone. "...how long was I out?" He asked nobody in particular.

"...Just once I'd like to take the easy road." Cronic said, as he waited for her to draw close, despite her inhuman speed, then stepped to the side and aimed a Roundhouse kick to her back, then drew his swords from their sheaths. "Well. Now that's settled it... Only one thing to do now." Cronic said, as he took up a defensive stance with the Katana in his left hand, and flipping the one in his right so he was holding it backhanded.

Koichi turned to see Daydeto. He didn't know him, but already he hated him. "Who are you?" He asked calmly as he held up his tonfa. Currently his cloud flame was non existent, but it would ignite on command if he happened to be attacked. He was a bit angry at the moment to be honest. Now he wouldn't be able to see what Ami would do. Perfect for him he had someone to take his new anger out on. "On second thought... I think I'll just bite you to death." He said as he charged his cloud flames in full blast as he swung as if throwing a punch with most of the power and damage to be dealt by the tonfa itself as he curving his strike in a bit for the tonfa to make contact.

[The Jest]

He waved at her and made a sigh as he took off his sunglasses.

"...Might already have, dear flower, ...might already have." He thought, keeping that suave and calm smile as he walked back to the restaurant.

Needless to say, this was unexpected for Casada. With that kick she went straight to the ground. But she didn't curse, or get annoyed, or anything someone would expect. Instead, she was, laughing, smiling, seemingly amused. He then looked at Cronic Again.

"Oh, yes....You will give me much more excitement then the boy with skill like that. ...I'm going to enjoy this." She said. She then went to slash at Cronic's defensive stance rapidly, and doesn't seem like she's stopping anytime soon.

Daydeto was quick to use his arm as a guard, and surprisingly it worked, when that kind of force would quite literally knock a normal person's arm off. He looked at Koichi as if piercing into his soul, before he blinked.

"...Yeah, that's what I thought. ...not quite the amount of strength I wanted, but you'll do. If anything, you're worth the time." Daydeto said as he then pushed the ...tonfa-blast, out of the way and was right in front of Koichi in seconds, and going for a punch of supernatural strength to Koichi's gut.

"...You have made the right decision. He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day. ...I am a man of my word." Janus immediately said. With that, he turned on his communicator and opened up the channels.

"This is Janus, Vongola 13 has surrendered. The Mission is accomplished. All units are to retreat and await further instructions immediately. I repeat, the Mission is accomplished. All units are to retreat and await further instructions immediately." He said. He heard 5 beeps...5 out of 7.

"...Casada respo-" Before he could finished the word, he could hear screams, her battle-cry.

"She's in conflict? ...Impossible!" He said, as he turned to Daydeto's and not hearing any response.

"Both of you, call off the fight, I repeat, call off the fight!" Janus said, his anger rising as he did.

".....Dammit, why must they choose NOW to be insubordinate? ....Nuletta, stop their fights." Janus said.

"Cancel that order. ...They're in their battle modes, it's best do what they have to or the aggression will be taken elsewhere." Sherina said.

"...Dammit. ...But... they've already defeated their opponents. who else could they be fighting?" Janus asked as he slowly sat down, trying to understand the situation.

Unlike those two, Sas heard the order and looked at the incredibly fatigue and bleeding Ryoji, still struggling to get up to fight, only to drop and feinting. Without a word, Sas walked away.

Koichi landed as if ready to push off the ground back into battle, but Daydeto was already in front of him. He immediately moved both of his arms to try and block the attack. He could tell it wouldn't be enough. As Daydeto made contact he pushed off the ground hopping back. It lessened the force of the attack which quite possibly might have broken his Tonfa. "It seems I won't be able to bite you to death as easily as I would any other." He said as he shook his arms a bit. Koichi was actually glad. He wouldn't need to hold back. Being able to go all out wasn't something he could do on a regular basis. So when he could he was always very excited about the battle. He charged forward again this time attacking furiously with a flurry of strikes his tonfa constantly being fueled by his raging cloud flames.
