Appearance:
^That is generally how he dresses, he still chooses to wear the ceremonial Apprentice style of Jedi robes and likes to wear his hood up most of the time. He stands around 5'8" and is of a slim build, lanky but with wide shoulders. His hair is mid length, disheveled, and jet black in color. Zyro's eyes are a bright, seemingly neon green color, with thick bushy eyebrows above them.
Skills/Abilities:
Please list with most potent skills first.
-
Force Affinity: Zyro has never been very tough and wouldn't be considered a skilled combatant. Though he has gone through lightsaber training as required of every padawan, he took to learning control of The Force more avidly and is stronger in using it than most apprentices. This is not to say he's extremely powerful or some kind of prodigy. Zyro has been trained at the Jedi Temple for twelve years and has worked hard to attain the level of skill he has acquired. The strength of his connection with the Force is the result of meditation and natural zeal for learning it, not innate ability.
-
Force Healing: Over the course of his training, Zyro took a liking to Jedi Knight Maab Valexes, an Aleena who specialized in using the Force to heal the wounded and even cure the ill and poisoned. She wasn't available in the Temple due to her often being called on mission for medical duties, but whenever she
was available Zyro never missed an opportunity to badger her for a lesson. As a result of Maab's lessons and his own studying, Zyro has become quite the expert on Force Healing, even though he has yet to put most of this expertise into practice.
-
Mechanical Fanatic When not nose deep in a book studying Force techniques, Zyro can typically be found tinkering with circuitboards and other pieces of scrapped droids (usually destroyed in practice and training rooms at the Jedi Temple). He often mutters to himself and spouts off equations and measurements for ideas while he tinkers. Most of the time his mechanical creations never come out the way he'd envisioned them. Zyro's more of a hobbyist than an actual expert when it comes to mechanics.
-
Sokan: He doesn't like using his lightsaber, but was swiftly taught by the Jedi Masters that if he did not practice using it he would never be allowed to be a knight and be called upon to help on missions. To compensate for his physical weakness and general clumsiness, Zyro became an ardent practitioner of the Sokan,a principal of lightsaber combat rather than one of the several "forms". He uses the surrounding environment and terrain to gain a tactical advantage on the opponent. Zyro has also (somewhat unintentionally) added his own unique brand to the principle by focusing on confusing the opponent with strange maneuvers before executing swift strikes toward vital organs. If the flow of battle allows, he pretends to be slow moving before executing bouts of great agility and evasion as an added element of suprise.

-
Two GH-3 Meddroids(medical droids): These droids look like two hovering spheres about the size of a large fist. Their databanks are full of comprehensive knowledge and diagnosis' of nearly every physical ailment for every known race in the republic. They're equipped with analysis scanners to quickly assess the current state of a patient (or in this case a wounded soldier) and one tiny heat lazer for surgical purposes. They are older models of the GH-7 series and were discarded from the medical bay at the Temple. Zyro found and reassembled them himself, so they are very prone to break downs and malfunctions.
-
Curved Hilt Lightsaber (yellow): Other than the curved hilt, it's no different than a standard lightsaber. Zyro assembled it himself when he was fifteen after being assigned to Master Maab and officially becoming an Apprentice. Maab used a yellow crystal so Zyro copied her out of idolization.
Personality:
Zyro was once an overzealous kid that had a hard time sitting still and an even harder time keeping his random thoughts to himself. After following the tenents of the Jedi order, he's become a lot more serene in an attempt to reach an emotionless state. He's still far from emotionless, sometimes still unable to dispose of excited feelings and be more "matter-of-fact" in how he views things rather than unrealisticly imaginative. Other than that, Zyro is an optimistic and caring person. He detests violence and firmly believes in rehabilitation as opposed to "eye for an eye" punishment. He would much rather win in debating instead of in combat. His optimism seems to stem from his innocence and ignorance of hardships, since he's lived within the Jedi Temple his entire life. Having had little hardship or strife in his own life, Zyro admits to a certain level of ignorance. However, he'd rather live with a positive attitude than an attitude of despair or even the emptiness of no attitude that the Jedi seem to advocate.
History:
Zyro and his twin sister Zyra were born on Nar Shaddaa, but raised on Taris. They never knew their father, but were raised fairly well off on an upper surface apartment thanks to their mother Narisha Malholka. She always told them she worked as a consultant for Nobles, but secretly she was known as Ilargo, one of the Outer Rim's most feared Bounty Hunters. At the age of six, Zyro started showing signs of Force Sensitivity. It was the usual signs, objects randomly floating or Zyro sudden;y knowing when a friend would come knocking at the door before they even got there. Zyra and most of their childhood friends always thought of him as a spaz and an eccentric weirdo, but his mother was soon convinced that she had to send him with the Jedi Malthan Voth, an old friend that owed her a favor. Before leaving his family with a tear soaked goodbye, he and his sister exchanged valuables. She gave him a locket with their mother's picture in it, and he gave her a bracelet he had fashioned out of old circuit wire. The two promised each other they would one day give back each others' belongings, that way they would have to see each other again.
From then on, Zyro spent his life training at the Jedi Temple on Dantooine. He was physically weak and, due to his hyperactive behavior, was a challenge for his first couple years. However, he was fascinated by the Force, and soon became enthralled with learning how to wield it and its various types of uses. He spent the bulk of his spare time in the library and preferred meditation over any other part of his training. Because of this fascination, he became well versed in controlling the Force and using it for telekinesis, enhanced listening and vision, concealment and other uses.
At the age of ten he became a padawan, and began lightsaber training. He chose to be trained mostly in the III form since it was mostly defensive moves and he lazily detested physical fighting. His lack of respect and enthusiasm for lightsaber combat was noted by some of the Jedi Knights, and they quickly corrected this in his behavior. They reminded him that there wasn't a Jedi Knight alive that did not know how to use a lightsaber, even if they preferred not to. Having spent his childhood life in training, Zyro would not accept the thought of
not ascending to Knighthood, and took their advice to heart. Though his contempt for lightsaber and all physical combat remained, he took sparring practice more seriously. This change in attitude prompted him to learn more about the mastery of Sokan.
As he progressed, Zyro was soon assigned an Apprenticeship with Jedi Knight Maab Valexes. His excitement was so major that some of the Masters began to worry he would devolve back to his hyperactive ways. Zyro idolized Maab for her kindness, humor, and respected strength in the Force. Before his apprenticeship could officially begin, Maab left on a voluntary assignment to help heal injured soldiers and commanders on the front lines of the war.
After a year of awaiting her return, the Temple received word that Maab had not reported and was assumed M.I.A. Overcome with concern for his Master and whom he considered a friend, Zyro managed to stow away on a ship and convince Eeth Bukk to help him escape with him and rendezvous with the Revanchist. He knows little about other planets, the outside world, and the Mandalorian war, but he is certain of two things. The Jedi are his family and his life, and if some of them (including his beloved Maab) choose to help in the war effort then he had the right to do so as well. Regardless of being an inexperienced padawan.
Relationships and Acquaintances:
1. Eeth Bukk: He had acted as an aid to the Jedi Masters that taught some of the Zabrak boy's lessons. They had always been more acquaintances rather than friends, but seeing as how he helped Zyro escape the watchful eye of the masters so that they could both join the Revanchist, his view of Bukk is leaning more toward comrade.
2. Una Dwex: She's a Jedi Knight that was one of Maab Velexes' friends and had gone on mission with her before. He had met her on two occassions when he was very young at the Temple, but could not say if Dwex would remember him at all. Either way, he figures that his search for Maab will officially begin when he asks her of the Aleena Jedi's whereabouts.
