All around fireteam Viking, hell was let loose as the TIAF didn't initially see where the gunfire was coming from and FT Viking kept on their work. Jakob had ordered his men to take cover wherever there was cover, be it behind oil-barrels, trucks or walls, it worked for the first breakthrough into their compound, but not for long. Soon they understood that they had been breached, and turned the gunfire back to the Norwegian Jägers and the outnumbered squad. They went behind cover as bullets from AK47s and other Cold War-era weapons flew past them, Jakob listening to the orders from Jan.
"Copy that, and don't waste any time, we're pinned down now." Jakob responded, and soon enough the TIAF had turned to the smoke that appeared and gotten yet again surprised by Lima. Jakob quickly rose up from his cover and sent accurate shots down at the militants. He fired four shots into the first one, going through his back and surely puncturing his heart and lungs. The second burst was of two shots to one's head, and the rest he didn't count. Though it worked, fireteam Viking got their grasp around the situation and quickly sent the militants behind cover. Above them, men were taken out by Paladin and the sharpshooters, and so Jakob would have too thank them later on.
And then Jan with his team came forward and ordered Viking to keep them covered, and they had no other intention than to do so, for the moment that was. "Roger than Jan. Tell me when you've reached the intel, I've got to take a look myself before you leave it." Jakob said clearly to Jan over the comms, he had orders himself to gather needed information, which Jan and his team most likely hadn't been informed off themselves. Yes Norway was part of NATO and had perhaps not one of the most secretive intelligence agencies, but still.
Soon enough the militants were at it again, and in the meantime fireteam Viking had repositioned themselves to cover the building Jan was inside. The militants as expected fired inaccurate shots at the Norwegians who clearly outmatched them. Jakob himself brought two down, the rest he didn't count. It seemed pointless to him, the militants didn't seem to know had to use their own weapons, or were they simply that desperate?
