The year is 2042 and the world has fallen into a state of moral dilemma. The world has been unified under a corrupt global coalition of the world’s richest and wealthiest men and women, politics are a sham and there are only a few very small pockets of resistance left in the world.
One of these elite few, a businessman by the name of Joshua Havers, has decided to expand his media empire with a brand new and exciting reality show. The main premise of this is around the old television series big brother – where several housemates are locked in and have to live together, completing challenges to earn a bigger food budget and luxury items. In the old version the public voted for their favourite contestants, and the one with the least votes was ‘evicted’ from the house.
In this new ‘Big Brother Extreme’ the contestants are volunteers, political opponents and captured enemies of the state. The games have been made much more dangerous and can often result in injury or death. If they fail then they are given only enough food and water to survive until the next challenge. If they succeed they are given a sufficient quantity of food, medicine and luxury goods. The voice of the house tells the contestants what to do, either individually or as a group. The sick viewership also have an input on the show, and for large amounts of money they can make their own input on the contestants.
When the voice of the house announces that it is time to vote, each of the housmates privately vote for their least favourite housemate, and the one with the lowest votes must survive a ‘death challenge’ or be killed and removed from the running.
The last one alive, depending on their situation either win’s their freedom or a sum of $1,000,000. Once inside the house there is no other means of escape.

Also due to the fact that many of the RPs I have been participating in die before they really get going I have decided that if you don’t post for a while and are holding the RP up for others than I will either take control of your chara (nothing important obviously) or if you’d prefer kill them off.
Obviously I understand stuff happens and you can’t be on – all I am asking is make us aware in the OOC at least

You have only your clothing when you enter the house – no possessions at all.
The house itself is large and modern in design, with many locked doors that can only be opened by the voice of the house. Upon entry the housemates have access only to a kitchen, dining room, toilets and the garden. The garden is surrounded by a massive reinforced wall with barbed wire. There are cameras everywhere, including the toilet stalls.
WARNING: Your character may die! The aim is for there to be only 1 living housemate at the end of the show! If it comes down to life or death decisions then the only fair way is for me to flip a coin or roll a dice – something like that. If you die but badly want to continue – then I am sure in the OOC we can work out a new chara – or something

Preview intro to the IC
Each contestant woke up alone and in a small room that resembled a cell. The walls were painted white and there was nothing other than a bed, table and camera in the corner. On the table there was what appeared to be a small pill, a small tube of something and an envelope addressed to ‘The occupant of the room’.
Upon opening the envelope they found a letter with beautiful calligraphy which said the following:
‘Dear Occupant,
You have been selected for an exciting new reality show, which we hope will top our current viewing chart with the public.
You have a chance to either earn your freedom or a substantial reward. However this shall depend entirely upon yourself and your fellow housemates.
I regret to inform you that only one person shall leave the house alive, and the others shall all perish.
Under your bed you will find a small box with some pain killers and a knife. You are going to need them.
Your first challenge is simple, to prove your worth and willingness to survive all I ask is that you insert the small electro-monitoring device into yourself. This will allow our premium viewers to see the world through your eyes and ears, as well as provide us with some handy feedback regarding your wellbeing.
May I suggest that you attempt to insert this into your hip – as this area is generally the most fleshy, obviously depending on your body type. Though anywhere inside you works.
Once you have completed this simple task use the skin-fusing cream to cover the wound to prevent unnecessary blood loss.
Once you have completed that the door will unlock, allowing you to enter the house and begin the challenge for your life.

Yeah thats no problem - I doubt this will be up and running until Sunday/Monday anyway – and even then we can always introduce your chara after its started
Name: Freddy Patter
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Appearance: Freddy is a pretty well built guy, and has spent most of his life helping his family and friends, providing for them however possible. He has a kind face and short dark hair. His eyes are a deep brown. He has a tan from working outside, however now he looks tired and worn down and has scars on most of his body.
Bio: Freddy grew up outside of the corporate world. His parents were activist who tried to shelter him from the corruption of the world. He grew up living a simple and happy life, and married when he was 20 to the woman of his dreams. Sadly nothing escapes the corporation for long and several months ago they attacked the farm that they lived on and in the shootout that followed Freddy and his family were knocked out with tear-gas. Waking up in an unnamed government compound he was tortured and interrogated for what felt like months, before he was ‘purchased’ by Joshua Havers for his new project.
Strength & Weaknesses: Freddy is fairly strong and resilient, he has endured torture and has had everything he cares about taken away. His weakness is that he is now prone to depression as he doesn’t know if his wife and child are alive or dead.
Other: Freddy has very little knowledge of the ‘modern’ world due to his sheltered life. He is appalled and disgusted by the state of the world.

Name: Lisa Derek
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance: Lisa is a thin and beautiful girl, with long blond hair and several piercings. She has fair light skin and striking blue eyes. She has several tattoos on her body, one of which that starts on her wrist and winds back to her shoulder and up her neck.
Bio: Her father is a rich and powerful businessman in the corporation, who attempted to groom her to replace him once he dies. However Lisa was always a bit of a wild child and was more interested in drinking and doing drugs. After she failed her ‘last chance’ her father in a fit of rage contacted Mr Havers and signed her up in his latest program hoping that she will either die so he can cash in on her multi-billion life insurance plan, or that by some freak of luck she will win and he can claim her winnings.
Strengths & Weaknesses: Lisa is your typical rebellious daughter, she has always had money and as such is not the most practical person. She can be very fun and easy going in the outside world however with the current situation she can appear spoiled and stupid. However she is actually fairly intelligent.
Other: Lisa is only a few steps away from being an alcoholic and she has an addiction to tobacco.

Bio: Raven grew up in a poor family and was raised by her single mother, Joanne, along with her for younger brothers and sisters, Kathy, Mickey, Joe-Joe, and Tarah. Since she was a child she always had to struggle for her siblings and her siblings to eat. Sure her mother had a job, but it barley paid for them to keep their home, not a lot left for food for their mouths. So when Raven was barley 6 or 7 she started doing everything she could for food. Nothing illegal or dimented, it consisted mostly of sweeping floors for small grocery stores for a box of ramen noodles, or collecting aluminum cans to turn in, and sometimes even begging for change. But life went on like that for the longest. It was hard, but they were happy, it seems the less money you have the more love you have for your family. Raven took care of her siblings and sent them to school and went herself saying that they would get out and make money one day. Sadly when she was 18 in her senior year of highschool, looking at a full ride to college, her mother got terribly sick so she had to give up everything to stay home and help her mom. By that time her and her siblings had jobs so life was slightly easier, but after her mom got sick everything went down hill with medicals bills and they sunk in deeper than they ever were before. And now her mother's condition is starting to get worse and worse. There is procedure that can cure her, but sadly it is 500,000 dollar procedure and there is no money. So this is why Raven has signed up for Big Brother Extreme, to fight for her mom, and when the money to save her. What does she have to loose?
Strengths: Loyal and Head Strong. Has leader qualities but won't stand up and take charge, just stand back and give her strong input on things nicely. Also Athletic.
Weaknesses: Makes hasty quick decisions and sometimes thinks more with her heart instead of her brain. Not the greatest physical fighter unless she is seriously provoked or its about her family.
