Saw Goth Puppies request here and realized I'll need one for my attempt at this wonderful idea in November. Just signed up with their website last night.

I will be working on a Mystery/Thriller book, number one of the 'Black Mysteries' Series. The first book in the series is titled 'Fade to Black'

Premise of the story is that it is about an LAPD Detective in the Homicide division and a case that comes across his desk. A beautiful young woman is found lying in an alley. Naked, severely beaten, brutally murdered and partially skinned, there's a chunk of skin removed from over her left breast with surgical precision. The investigation turns up evidence leading Det. Black to a young actor. (Think the new Taylor Lautner, Robert Patinson or Justin Bieber for popularity level and fan base)

Dozens of other, similar murders are discovered but the question remains, is this actor committing the murders? Or is something else, even more sinister going on?

As far as image goes, drawn or photo manipulated is fine. I really don't have a particular plan for the cover but considering the title and the Film industry theme a film reel or something might be a good thing to include. I leave it up to our highly creative and far more skilled than I friends here on the board to make that decision.
