FFX Chaotic beginings

[Caligula]

(First of all this gonna be some time after Yunalesca and Zaon when all the mechanics of the summoner is set. Also Al bhed aren't clearly established so if your character is one shoot me some mechanics on it first.)

Fifty years have passed since Yunalesca has defeated the Mighty Sin, Zaon unknown to the people is tormented. Forced to live as the living embodiment of death, causing ruin and destruction amongst the people. In that time though the Order of Yevon has been established giving hope to the masses that such an abomination would be destroyed, taking several such individuals to live on as that hope as fayth. So that the occupation of summoner was vastly growing and vastly decreasing due in part to the stress and hardships of such an occupation to bring peace. With the dead rising more than the living, the small remaining pockets of life struggle and fight on to survive, surviving on hope and the dreams that a summoner would rise from the ashes of death to deliver the peace of life. Even if it for a short time...it is worth it.

Summoners or most never get more than two aeons before decieding to quit from heartbreak, loss of hope or weakness. Shamed most commit suicide or go into exile;however, one is different from the rest though. Driven not by hope or courage but by revenage, wanting to destroy destruction incarnte for the pain it has caused him. Using this hate to destroy the darkness, gathering like minded people to push for the dream of revenge. Knowing his own accounts that this motivater is the greatest to be known. He will defeat Sin, he will defeat him even if it comes at the cost of being tourtered to death. Amongst the midst of a mechna rebellion proves to be more difficult, but pushes on guardians and all, forward towards revenage, towards a bitter sweet revenage.

Personality: Despite being driven towards revenge Xalis tends to be a joker, trying humor to help lighten the atmosphere amongst everyone despite how grim things might get. A calm hand towards the weak and weary but a stout enemy to thouse that might oppose him or defy is pilgrimage as a summoner. Such actions aren't taken lightly and often incur a wraith close to Sin's or the people that know him would say. Fears failing to bring the calm. If he were to fail, he wouldn't allow a sending. Rather become a fiend to test the merret of would be summoners.

Bio: Living as anyone would in such times in fear of Sin, but he did so with a sense of joy. His parent's weren't killed in either the war of Zanarkand and Bevelle or to die from the likes of Sin. Natrual causes, and with a wife and child to look after days of labor and hardwork were what filled most of his days as a teacher/carpenter though from the garb he wears no one would even tell that he was doing such a mundane duo of jobs. Providing to those who didn't have much to anything, his house was the open door. Feeding and sheltering the needy, even being in a town which was hardly noticable as a mere outcrop of society but such lonely tranquility suited him just fine. It however was noticed by another, Sin was on the move and out to fill its quota of death.

Dawn, another simple day of what was blissful paradise until the gray behemoth that was Sin came encroaching. Looking with greedy eyes as its assualt began, destroying most its path flesh or wood didn't matter destruction was swift to the town. Though something had happend to him, unable to remember if it came before or after his wife Esera and daughter Lily were slaughtered by sinspawn. Coming to stare at death looking at it straight on something unfathomable to people but it had happend even if no one believes such a fact. Unable to remember how he was knocked unconcious but waking to a spilting headache and the bodies of his wife and child before him. Vowing from that moment on to destroy Sin, before he left though burying everyone was a top priorty even if they were in bits and pieces. Deserving a proper grave, burying his wife and child last adorning the graves with blue flowers. Leaving only with a sphere to remind of him of happier times.

Loved one(s) lost: Her boyfriend whom she was to marry; a man named Yosei

Personality: Calm and curious, cunning but not treacherous, she is a careful planner and good strategist. Although generally quiet, she is good at taking charge of a situation, and is always open to the ideas and suggestions of her allies. She can also be cold and distant sometimes though, which makes her less approachable than she would like to be. Although she hates Sin and craves vengeance against him, she tries to refrain from talking about it. Better to have such hatred locked away where no one can see it, lest someone mistake her for a witch (which she has been called on occasion).

Short Bio: During most of her life she had been misunderstood. Kids picked on her when she was young, people thought she was a bit creepy if not heartless due to the lack of emotion she would show, even during desperate times. Her family always tried to get her out of the house more and pull her away from her books, not realizing that she simply preferred being alone in her room. Most of her years were rather gloomy, but then a handsome young man came along and changed all of that. Yosei was a smart young man who shared common interests with her and understood her. The two had spent more and more time together, and Zaphy loved every bit of it. He was nice, understanding, smart, had a good sense of right and wrong, logical, funny but not too immature, and was serious when the need for it came. He was the only person Zaphikel had developed any true emotional attachment to.

On one night, under a star-filled night sky, he presented a beautiful ring and proposed to her. Overjoyed, Zaphikel graciously accepted and hugged him. For the first time in her life, she had shed tears of joy. The two were just beginning to plan a wedding, until a certain giant sea-dwelling monstrosity had come along and changed everything. Sin gave birth to hundreds of hideous little beasties, and those abominations flew from their master and attacked the town. Yosei was slain saving Zaphikel's life. He had died a slow and gruesome death to protect her. Despite the agony of being gored and shredded, he managed to smile through it all. Knowing that his lover was unharmed was enough to satisfy him. Of course she tried to save him, but at the time her magics were not honed enough to be able to stop the sinspawn from killing and eating him alive. It was the worst day of her life.

Since that day, Zaphikel had practiced honing her magics more than ever. She decided to become a guardian for the next summoner and defeat Sin. Yosei was the only person who had truly understood Zaphy, and she was not about to let that infernal whale beast go unpunished for talking him away from her.

Personality: Very quiet, Orion prefers to communicate through action. He tends to solve problems through brute strength, and tends to leave it to other people when it comes to thinking things through. These traits make him seem like a mindless brute with no friends, but he will quickly put himself in harms way to save someone and is very protective of people he considers friends, to the point of being willing to put his life on the line.

Short Bio: Orion was born into the Ronso tribe with a family consisting of him, his parents, and his elder brother. His elder brother was considered extremely strong and intelligent, and was believed to be on the fast track to becoming the next tribe leader. Orion always lived in the shadow of his brother, but it never bothered him since his brother always treated him nicely. However, shortly after the return of sin, his brother, the tribe leader of the time, and the leaders guardian went on a short trip to the other end of the calm lands, only to be attacked by sin. His brother and the tribe leader of the time were killed, the only survivor was the guard, who claimed the leader had chosen him as the new leader in his last moments. Almost all the tribe had doubts about this, especially Orion, but none wished to go against him, since at the time, he was the strongest Ronso. Orion choose to to leave the tribe and wander the world, not wishing to remain under the new leader. He now searches for any opportunity to grow strong enough to kill Sin, which took his brother and leader from him, and become strong enough to take the Ronso Tribe back.
