Name: Theo Ramlin
Race: 25% Nord, 10% Orc 40% Imperial 25% Breton
Age: 35
Appearance:
Theo, being mainly Imperial, has a somewhat muscle build, but not as much due to his time with the Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood. Since both groups, who are now united only in forces, require a lean body, and stealth, Theo has learned to keep his body fit, but not bulky. Due to this, he only retains a two-hundred pound weight. His height is nothing above six feet, but nothing below sixty-eight inches. Once would just assume that he’s between five-nine, and six foot.
Being that he is fit, Theo’s face isn’t as bulged, and masculine as a full Imperial would. His eyes also show something to be questioned. He doesn’t have an Imperial shade of brown. His eyes reflect more on forest green. His hair, when straitened is definite near-butt long, but with several ponytails upon ponytails, and other stylings, his hair appears to be mid-back length. It appears, when in sunlight, to have a blonde base with black, and red tints throughout.
Something that should also be noted is that Theo has three major scars throughout his body. He has one on the side of his face. It’s on the right side, if there’s going to be a specific. The second rests on his right leg, near upper-calf, and the third is on his back, going down his spine, all the way down.
Clothing: OVer his travels, Theo has been able to enjoy the luxuries of life, and that includes being able to experience the comfort of different styles of clothing. He has found himself a great fan of the Fine Clothes for the wealthy. He usually keeps a good three or four different pairs of the four kinds of Fine Clothing there is out to buy.
Fine Clothes(Brown, teal and Green):
This style of fine clothing comes with a nice, and comfy, cotton jacket that has a nice zipper. The jacket has a combo of teal and green, while the shirt comes of leather brown. The pants are the same material and color. There are several pockets on the jacket and pants. It all ties nicely with brown shoes, and a brown belt that hold the pants up.
The travels that Theo had taken allowed him access to several items of interest. The few armors he does wear is usually in the light or medium class.
Guild Master Armor Set
Much like the standard Thieves Guild Armor, this set of light armor is the exact same in every way, but it just is a much darker shade of brown. It almost looks black, but it’s more charcoal, if anything. It also has a higher chance of lock picking, and pick pocketing. This is the armor that Theo wears on stealth missions, especially at night.
Glass Armor(Full set)
This is the armor that everyone would see, and that they know Theo uses for any real battle or non-stealth mission. He’s usually seen wearing this leather+glass combo armor when he leaves for battle. That’s a rarity, but when he does, this is his choice of armor.
Accessories: Aside from the obvious things like Lockpicks, a few books, and some letters, Theo carries around a few rings that have enchantments, and a solid amount of traveling gold. The rest of his belongings have been shipped off into the secret bases that’s he’s bought over his travels. His assets mostly reside in Downstar, and Riften.
-50 Lockpicks
-2 rings with a health enchantment.
-4 rings with 20% stealth enchantment.
-1 ring with 50% lockpicking enchantment.
Class: Theo is more affiliated with The Thief class, he does have talents in the Mage and Warrior classes which include, but not limited to, Destruction, and Healing Magic; One-handed weapons, and Archery. Pretty much, Theo is a jack-of-all-trades.
Weaponry:
-Ebony Sword
-Glass Arrows x50
-Ebony Bow
-Ebony Dagger x2
History: Theo comes from a long line of family history, stemming from the unlikely union between his great, great, great grandma of the orc race, and his great, great, great grandfather of Nord race. It’s unknown how exactly these two made kin, but down the line, Theo’s great, great grandparents, each half Nord and Orc, bred with Imperial and Breton respectively, and continued it until Theo popped up a few generations later.
One thing that should be noted about Theo’s family history is that they all had several criminal records. His mom’s side has had run-ins with the law due to the fact that his mom’s side were among the early Thieves Guild. On his father’s side, they have had troubles with the law due to their affiliation with the Dark Brotherhood. It’s a wonder that Theo has turned out like the way he did…or did he.
Theo entered the world growing up in Solitude where he spent most of his time learning the trade of Blacksmithing, but he also had several lessons as a kid due to the influence his parents had with the Jarl. It’s because of these connections that Theo was able to take part in archery, alchemy, magic, and combat training. He did keep up this routine until he was old enough to venture on his own.
At the age of eighteen, Theo chose the independent route, and went on as an adventurer instead of joining the Imperial Army. To his parents, they think he did this out of rebellion, and not wanting to do what his parents wanted to do. There is some truth in that, but it’s much more than that. Theo really didn’t want to be an Imperial tool. He wanted to go see Skyrim in all of it’s glory. He has much respect for his father, being the Jarl’s top General, and his mother, being the best alchemist Solitude has, but that life wasn’t for him. However, Theo did take in all the lessons he was given the honor of getting as a kid, and he takes that to the heart.
On the first month of his travels, Theo found himself going to Whiterun for the better part of five years. He found a good life as the Jarl’s personal bodyguard, and he got married, and bought a house. He had a good life in Whiterun, and even at the age of twenty-three, Theo was thinking of settling down, but he felt there had to be more out there. So, he posted his resignation, and told his wife that, someday he will be back. She understood, and again he took off. And again Theo was running away from a solid life with good, steady gold.
Down the line of five years, Theo is now twenty eight, and in those five years he has committed thievery, breaking-and-entering, bribery, and rumored to have been rolling with the Thieves Guild. He had gained a crimnal record, but that wasn’t the only thing he was gaining. His share of loot got him quite the sum of gold, and now he was making more than enough to satisfy himself, but Theo’s thirst for blood, and excitement was leading him down a dangerous path. It led him to joining the Dark Brotherhood. Ironic that he is going down the same path that his ancestors were in. History really has a nasty way of repeating itself.
Okay, so he joined the Dark Brotherhood, and perhaps Theo found his true home. The Dark Brotherhood is more than an organized crime group. They are a family, and treat each other as such. It also doesn’t hurt that one of their best happens to be in love with the leader, and vice-versa. Yup, even though Theo is legally married to a Nord maiden in Whiterun, he is also in love with Karla Mosalas of the Dark Brotherhood. Truly he finds happiness in the dark.
When everything seemed so perfect, Theo thought he had finally found a home that he didn’t need to run away from. That was until the last mission he would have to do meant killing three people he had once — and perhaps still does — held dear to his heart. These three people are his Ex-Wife, and his parents. The reason being that the wife is the daughter of the most powerful man in all of Skyrim, The King. And his parents are his right and left-hand lackeys.
It was his choice. Stay with his brothers, and sisters of the Dark Brotherhood and lose his parents, along with his ex-wife, the first woman he ever loved. Or betray the Dark Brotherhood and risk being an eternal enemy of the most ambiguous, and dangerous group in all of Skyrim. He struggled with the decision, but eventually Theo came to his right mind, and decided that the family he once knew as mom, pop, and Maria, were dead to him. Soon, they would be in a literal sense.
It was after his little struggle with loyalties made Theo a little more bitter, and colder towards his loved ones, but he remained loyal to the Dark Brotherhood, and now, as Theo turns thirty-five, he is not only the co-leader of the Brotherhood, but he is also a loving husband, and devoted father to five year old Isaac Alexander Ramlin. He, and Karla have found a legit home within Riften where the Thieves Guild, and the Dark Brotherhood unite forces as the first United Organized Crime Unit.
After a few months of finally settling down, Theo caught word of the Thalmor trying to oversee the operations that the Dragonborn, or Dovahkiin, has been seeing in another part of the world where he’s trying to find a way to seal up the dragons for good, and the Thalmor don’t like that. It’s all up in the air, but rumor has it that there is supposed to be a meeting of some kind in Markarth, which Theo will go to, and find out for himself.
Personality:
Theo is an interesting guy. He wasn’t always so cold and ruthless as he is now When he was a kid, he had high hopes of being the man his parents would be proud of. He had high ambitions that would always reflect in how hard he worked in his training. This would include his love for his parents, and what he practiced. Always showing promise, Theo was a nice kid, and thoughtful, but still he had that Imperial stubbornness, and the assertiveness that always had his teachers worried about him.
As he grew up, Theo also matured in his way of doing things. His venturing on to better things also led him to think outside the box. When he got married in Whiterun, he became a more chilled, and relax guy. Of course, he still was assertive at times, and still stubborn as any Imperial would be, but he softened up.
After departing from his wife in Whiterun, and eventually divorcing her down the road, Theo took a turn for the worse. His entire way of thinking and doing things changed when he became involved with the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood. He became more colder, and ruthless to others who weren’t in his family or close friends. The notion of killing became less of a chore, and more of a hobby. His resentment to the Imperial Army became a fraction of his newly-shaped persona into a master assassin. Even worse, Theo had a family within the Brotherhood, and with that came even more affiliation to the dark side. It was with this, Theo became more corrupted, and even worse, his thought of feeling became even colder than Winterhold’s winter nights.
Just when even Karla thought he had lost his mind to the darkness, a light breathed sunshine on his clouds. The rumors of the Thalmor orchestrating a plan , didn’t matter what, but a plan indeed, Theo found new light to kill for a reason, and not just because he can. That’s where Theo had went back into what was believed his true self. He was back into the mindset that killing is fun, but must be a reason or it’s blind murder.
