Ryan, you are on a short waitlist, since there's hardly a chance of you reaching a ghost-town in death-valley.

Pierce, not to be disrespectful or anything... but could you please explain to us non-military folk how abandoning your squad during a nat'l emergency is a good idea? And even if your squad was slaughtered, would it not be of higher priority to regroup with any nearby friendly [military] forces?

You are not spec-ops, it is not your job to raise a peasant-militia. Your job is to uphold the consitutional-government despite all threats both foriegn and domestic.

Our survivors, with their lack of laws, are enemies of the US constitution.

Simple; I never had a squad. The world went to shit when I was at MOS school in Camp Lejeune, NC. I haven't even hit the Fleet Marine Force yet. I been wandering ever since, providing whatever help I can. Plus, the relations between me and the group could make for some "interesting" interactions.

P.S. I am not a military character. As far as I'm still concerned, I'm still a "Maruit" because have never technically been in a conventional combat zone. I just a man with bare basic training under my belt, nothing more.

I'm sorry but obviously you don't know enough about the Military. I asked my father who was previously in the Air Force... He told me doesn't matter what branch of the military you are in. If you are part of the military you would have been called out to help with local law enforcement to keep people from crossing boarders. You wouldn't be out ALONE, you would be with a Squad of other people within the Military.

You understand this don't you?
Then your character wouldn't be with our troupe especially since we're on our own, accomodating a ghost town, and we've killed infected where orders have not been given to kill the undead unless they're trying to attack you.

I'm sorry, your character is NOT going to work in our story.
