    Mika

She looked up at Dean when he refused her first implication. She knew he would refuse, she knew they AL would refuse. They just had to play the heroes the entire time, and she found it partially overwhelming. She hated the idea of being the damsel in distress over this whole damn thing. She tried to run away from being that type of girl her entire life, and now she was being exactly that.

She was shocked through when Dean just yanked her into his chest and held her protectively. She was glad no one could see her right now, because quite frankly she was wide eyed and tears pricking her bottom eyelids again. Then she suddenly felt Sam and Sora join in on the hug and she was now both the Peanut butter and the Jelly in this sandwich. She was beginning to actually feel squished, until Cas' voice made her jump ever so slightly within the hug.

She listened to what Cas said, even if it did sound muffled from all the men hugging her right now. When he stopped talking, she pushed herself off Dean, causing her to push Sora and Sam off of her as well, sniffing to stop the tears from falling, she wiped her hand over her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose before running her hand right down her face as she took in a deep breath and a hefty sigh. "Okay.... Okay I'll face him. I'll finally do it..." She said, knowing it was now or never if she was to do this. "Just... stay nearby?" She asked, looking between all of them.

    Dean

Dean looked at Sora's reaction, and part of him wasn't too surprised he'd react that way, he just had this feeling about Sora and his emotions towards Mika. He ignored that little detail as he said what he did, nodding to Sora and Sam as he could see they mirrored his opinion on the subject and he was glad they did.

When Sam and Sora both came over and hugged Mika, he was beginning to feel rather awkward at this group hug. He didn't like group hugs.... unless it was all women hugging in the group hug with him in the middle. But now wasn't the time to think with his perverse brain, he had a job to do. He glanced back at Cas in the corner of the room as he spoke up about what Mika had to do to destroy the spirit of her father. He looked down on Mika as she pushed herself away from him, doing the same mannerism that he always did when he was either stressed or trying to hide his vulnerability. She was like him.... but in a woman's body. He found that strangely compelling.

He looked at her as she said she'll do what she's never been able to do all her life. It showed just how strong she was inside, and yet she couldn't see it. That made him nod as she said she'd need them nearby and made him want to protect her. "We will be... I promise." He said to her, before looking at Sora, "We'll finish this... now, and get you home." He said to him.

"Oh will you now?" Dean heard, and it made him lift his head and look at the door way, seeing Mika's father standing in front of the salt line. "You can't cross that salt line you dead douchebag, you're not touching her when I'm around." He couldn't help but say at him. He saw as her father just smirked at the come back he received. He tried to keep hold of Mika, but he felt her push them all away from her and get up walking to the doorway, but not crossing the salt line.

    Sora & Cas

Sora nodded when Dean assured again we'd get this finished now and both him and Mika be sent back home, when the spirit of Mika's father had come back. It was then he saw Mika slowly walk up towards it by the salt line and he tried to stop her, "Mika, no" he said as he tried to reach out to her, but Cas intervened, grabbing Sora's shoulder and teleporting them downstairs.

"Cas! What did you do that for?" Sora asked Cas trying to get back past him. "I'm sorry Mike, but it's clear your feelings for Mika are strong, and you are one of the many reasons she's able to keep strong, but she needs to do this by herself, you understand? She can't have anyone intefering." Cas replied keeping Sora held back.

"But..." Sora went to carry on talking, "No buts, this is the only way without any lives being lost, ok? Besides, you're needed down here anyway, the other spirit will be back in a moment and it'll be up to you to get rid of it for good" Cas replied after interupting Sora.

"But how? We don't know who or what this is yet. And why me?" Sora asked, still trying at times to get past, "You have a strong good side inside you Mike, someone is watching over you, they will be your key." Cas said patting Sora's shoulder, Sora sighed "Great, riddles?...now?" thinking to himself.

    Mika and Dean

Mika ignored Sora trying to stop her. She kept her breath deep and strong to give her the confidence she needed to do this once and for all. Sora couldn't protect her from everything, she always knew that and now she had to prove it. Dean couldn't protect her from this forever nor could Sam. Hell, she knew this was a temporary thing of being in the company of Dean and Sam.

"You not going to say anything?" Her father questioned, cocking an eyebrow in a smart ass way. She just stared at him, trying to get the confidence to actually talk to him. She could feel that Dean and Sam were behind her, so she was safe. Glancing down at the salt line by her door way clarified that little fact. "Wow... I really made an impression on you huh kid?" He asked, following her gaze down to the salt and back up to meet her eyes again.

Dean stood behind ready to just shoot him for the sheer hell of it, he was itching to move on his feet, but he knew he couldn't. He watched her, wide eyes thinking she wasn't going to face him at all. "She's not going to do it.." He mumbled to Sam, when he was proven wrong by hearing her begin to speak.

"You ruined my childhood and my life. You sent me into a downward spiral... made me suicidal, I grew up hating you and fearing you... and yet I had to go to your funeral and act like a loving daughter..." She began saying to her father's spirit, she wasn't even aware of Dean's or Sam's reactions to anything she was saying. "And that's meant to phase me? You were a weakling, a nobody worth knowing." Her father said. "A nobody worth knowing?! You didn't even TRY because you didn't want to because you couldn't handle the fact I'm a girl and not another son! Yet you made me into a porcelain doll when we were out together! You were the nobody worth knowing Dad! You were the one who made me embarrassed to be seen out with!" She ended up getting the confidence to suddenly just say exactly what she's always wanted to.

She would lie if she said she wasn't crying as she spoke up right now, but she couldn't help it. Dean looked on and even though he could only see from behind her, he knew she was crying, he could hear it in her voice, but he was proud of her for finally speaking up. Though hearing her say she was suicidal once, scared the crap out of him. He knew what was that like... to be suicidal and te thought of her being that was just plain wrong in his mind.

"You know something? I'm glad I laughed at your funeral, because everything that was said was an outright lie! You were dick, and you always will be, and I hope you rot in Hell!" She ended up saying to him, out stretching her hand behind her and Dean was confused as to why before he knew why a few seconds later, and he handed her his shotgun. He watched as she took it, and aimed it at her father. "What you gonna do with that kiddo? You've never held a gun in your life!" Her father chuckled, finding her rather amusing, as she tried to impressed Dean and Sam.

"This is for my mom, brothers and more importantly... this is for me and the crap I've lived with" She said, as she pulled fired the automatic shotgun easily, feeling the kick but dealt with it. She watched as her father didn't just vanish away in smoke, but he screamed and suffered from the blow before vanishing.... and this time for good.

Mika loked where he was and breathed normally again, sighing, dropping the shotgun down by her side. Truth was, she DID know how to fire a gun, she used to do shoot practice when she was apart from the Air Cadet Corp, back when she was only 16 years old.

    Sam

Sam watched as Mika slowly approached the spirit, he was just as eager as Dean was to join in on taking it out but with a lot more patience and faith in Mika knowing she could do this, before Dean nudged him thinking she wasn't gonna be able to, "Sssh she can and will" he mumbled back just before Mika began to speak again.

As Mika's speech went on, Sam could tell aswell that she was crying, but she was doing the most bravest thing she's probably done so far despite the tears, something that's held her back all this time and this made Sam smile a ton on the inside and feeling so proud of her.

That's when Mika held her hand back and Dean gave her his shotgun, moments later it was fired, and the spirit was gone for good. Sam quietly let out a huge sigh as Mika stood there, before nudging Dean for them to go to her.

    Sora & Cas

Sora looked around the room, in his mind wishing he was upstairs even at least witnessing Mika facing her dad, but nope he was stuck having to take care of this other spirit on his own, and even if he won, no-one would ever know, he sighed, "Fine...let's get this over with", he checked the shotgun he still had on him...one shot left, the rest were still upstairs where he left them before being teleported, "Great..." he said to himself knowing the next shot would give him his last chance to figure out what Cas was meaning.

It was then he heard a gunshot from upstairs, Sora looked up, "What the-", but in that moment of distraction, Sora gets knocked back across the room onto the half damaged sofa caused by the earlier crash, the other spirit had been there for a while, waiting for the right time to make his move, "I am really getting tired of this!" exclaimed Sora as he got up, cocking the shotgun ready to use.

"Mike, I must quickly go, I leave this job in your hands" Cas said before disappearing, "No wait Cas don't......", Sora said before it was too later, "...go", things just weren't going his way right now. He slowly walked across the room, looking around all the time, not knowing if the spirit was in the room still due to the cold wind from outside coming through the broken wall.

    Mika and Dean

Dean kept listening to everything she said. When she said she was glad she laughed at his funeral he went wide eyed in an 'impressive!' sort of manner. Truth was, he didn't take her for the revenge or heartless kind of person who do something quite like that. Laughing at a family member's funeral took guts to do, and in that one sentence he saw a completely side to her that he really felt impressed with.

After she took his shotgun, he was ready to tell her to watch for the kick but she seemed to handle it well enough without being instructed. "Huh..." was all he could actually say on it, but as he watched her father's spirit burn up practically from the shot, he realised that was indeed a first he had ever seen that happen to a ghost from a salt round. Then it occurred to him, that it must have been because Mika fired the shotgun and stood up to him that caused the salt round to act differently.

Cas was right that it was only Mika that could end him once and for all, and he realised just how good a hunter Mika could turn into if she was subjected to this life. He shook the thought from his mind as he refused to let anyone be in this lifestyle when all he wanted was their normal life. When she dropped the shotgun to her side, he didn't know what to do until Sam nudged him to signal they should go over to her. Nodding, he walked over and just ended up doing something he wasn't used to doing.... hugging a girl from behind. "You did good girl, you did... really good...." He said to her.

Mika was standing there staring at the now empty hallway where her father had previously stood. She did it, she finally stood up to him and did what she always wished she could do for all those years. She was stunned into silence and barely even flinched when Dean wrapped his arms round her from behind and told her she did good. She kept control of her breathing, as one final tear fell down her cheek, and nodded at his words. The shotgun still in her hand, but her hand was shaking a lot. "I did it...." She just gasped. She felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of her shoulders.

Then she heard a commotion downstairs and she snapped out of her thoughts, "We have to help Sora," She said, leaning her head back out of Dean's chest as she looked up at him, and then glancing over to Sam.
