Either:
Rilla - Who became basically, the Master of Creation.
Or.
Joseph - An Imaginist(Someone who can manipulate their imagination to the world; basically making them god), who stole Rilla's reason for being the Master of Creation, Ouroboros.
Hmmm... my most overpowered character...
Pedro Mendez was pretty awesome, but then I RPed him getting old, balding and wheelchair-bound. Still awesome though.
I haven't RPed too many space-marines... and the closest I've gotten to that is Marlene and... oh right... her...
But really... Kayora, or Alexi (any version)... Adrian Vance did some nifty stuff too... And the Roesenthal-gang (including Sgt Leroy Crompton) that helped Kayora break-out was the penultimate badass-team I've used in quite a long while.
But now I've got Marlene Abdelkadar... and most will admit she's crazy. But Ato Yot faced-off angainst a tank with just a revolver...
This is kinda like asking me if Tex, CT, or Carolina would win in fistcuffery.
Chartose gets mention, but only because he makes me laugh.
As for heroic-resolve, I've gotta hand it to Ash, my leg-less cripple in a zombie-infested city.

I'm not sure there is.
That's just what I call them, based off their ability.
I currently have two in my continuum, and the continuum I originally started out in.
Joseph, who is Rilla's biological grandson
And
Kaige, who is Joseph's adopted son(Due to his ability and how it helped Joseph).

This would be a tough call. I've made so many characters since I've started roleplaying, and have joined so many RPs. The only problem with this isn't that there are so many though. The problem is that the vast majority of them have either been undeveloped or simply haven't grown as much as they could have, which leaves a lot of potential to be considered. It also comes down the manner in which they're all fighting each other. The outcome would be very different if it was a battle of 'favorites' from what it would be if it was a battle of 'true skill' of my characters. But for the purpose of this little hypothetical, I will say that the majority of the characters that I've put thought into over the passed few years have developed to their fullest potential, and that I wasn't playing favorites.
If that was the case, I'd have to give it, of all the characters, to my DBZ Namekian, Lyung. I've provided him a background story that provides ample (and reasonable) ground on which he could surpass my other characters in terms of raw power and strength. In addition, his racial abilities would provide him with, pardon the informality, a damn good pool of abilities that would help him keep an all-around edge against my other characters, one way or another. But truthfully, what I think would really win the battle for him is the fact that, being a DBZ character, he falls into that perfect balance between distance and closed quarters combat. His ability to use Ki in projectile, and to an extent mystical ways, and the fact that he'd be able to easily hold his own pitched combat due to his strength, speed, and durability would make him effective against my other characters, who typically don't possess the same sort of versatility. Other Chi/Ki users I've made share this combative versatility, but since they're only human, they'd be trounced, ultimately, by the fact that Lyung has species-unique abilities that would give him a strong edge, providing him a decent window of opportunity.
However, in my mind, I'd like to imagine my characters Adrian Savona and Vance Scypa coming together to overwhelm Lyung with some astounding teamwork. The both of them are Keybearers from the Kingdom Hearts Universe, meaning that they do in fact wield Keyblades. The former is a typical Black Mage (to put in Final Fantasy terms) mixed with a sniper (his Keyblade essentially resembles and functions as a gun, though with magically based ammunition). The former is more of a closed quarters fighter, with abilities designed more for melee combat and crowd-clearing. The only issue is that, by my design, the two have a deep-seeded rivalry stemming back to their Apprenticeship under their Keyblade Master; though this does exist more prominently on Vance's side, as Adrian could care less about the rivalry most of the time. At the same time, there's some friendship between them, because despite hating each other, there's some respect in there to counter balance things. Adrian is simply survival minded, and Vance simply can't stand the idea of losing a battle, since he believes that he has to rise above all challenges and "make daddy/master proud of him." So given these factors, I could see the two of them teaming up and combining their individual strengths to bring down a stronger foe. Adrian would be able to use a lot of stealthy magic techniques to catch Lyung off guard (one of which could possibly even restrain him for a short time) while Vance would be able to make use of his melee skills and techniques (which involve melding swordplay and pitched combat with variations of magical spells and the like).
I'll admit that these two likelihoods are drawn partially from bias and the fact the latter scenario involves two characters that I've essentially been going out of my way to develop (especially from a relational standpoint). Personally I'd say that the second scenario is very much possible, but only after a rough and drawn out fight in which the Keybearers would probably have to resort to some healing items to restore their magical capacity (assuming that's allowed). But despite the raw power he'd have, Lyung is still only one character, with one pool of energy to draw from. Even if he used the infamous ability to split into multiple selves, he'd still have trouble, especially because he'd probably use it to combat the various other characters that would come to the conflict, and would have been pushed to a much weaker state from the formidable masses. Adrian could feasibly walk into the battle with Lyung unscathed, having simply sniped a bunch of the other SoB from afar before moving in. So honestly, my vision would be that at the end of the day, an exhausted Lyung is defeated by a beaten down Adrian and Vance. And that point, the two Keybearers have a grudge match that ends in a standoff, the former ready to blow the other one's head clear off his shoulders and the latter with his blade at the other one's neck. And from there, I'd honestly say that neither of them would have the heart to kill the other, and would limp away form the carnage.

Dunno, don't really care. I'll still call them Imaginists. xD

Hmmm, on further thought, I'd narrow it down to Kayora, Crompton, and Marlene.
Alexi had Jason Bourne/Shooter level of capability, just to give you an idea of where things start.
Stratton gets mention for trying to be like Crompton, and he almost succeeded.
Crompton was like... Sgt Bassilone plus Sgt Speares turned into one guy and handed a scoped duece in the middle of Stalingrad... That was his first appearance... since then he's fought in 3 zombie-wars and even attacked a bunker-complex as part of a nuclear winter offensive. Shot-down a helicopter with a hand-grenade and made 3 assassinations of player-characters.
Kayora was originally the brain/controler/pilot of an entire national defense mech-army... later re-hashed the character into a Ripley in command of a fugg'n planet-crack'n warship. The waship was then infested and she pretty much re-took it with just a glock tucked in her speedo
And Marlene, she pilots a mech. Depending on how much credit you give to mechs she's either 1st or 3rd. On top of that, she's just as spy-savvy as Alexi ever was.

Johan from my Broken Circle RP
Why? Becouse while he is up against fantasy race warriors, mutants, molotov coctail throwingg punk, Grey Witces and a dream prostitute (yeah, you heard me.). He is still a bit of a grumpy and gritty do what you can to win mage, With a gun.
made by the ever charming and talented Lillian Thorne.
Galen Phantom. Went from a 50+ year old guy who fought with paired short swords and....ugh...I hate remembering this....dual, semi-automatic, double barrel, 10 gauge shotguns...Who originally was able to spontaneously generate energy from which he stored his weapons, or made things to eat/drink. this started back in like, 1999 in Yahoo Chat RP, or earlier. Had some DBZ gamer see him, and then told him to use the energy itself as a weapon...That went silly...very fast. But to this day? Most powerful character I have ever made. Especially after being abducted by aliens, experimented on, growing a chitinous armor that evolved, growing another pair of arms, surviving a nuclear blast....ugh. God...I hate my younger self for making that shit.
Second: Mahsnoanvin. (Trust me, I was weirded out when I found out that this site was run by Mahz...) Take homebrewed magic-infused Ogre, mix with red dragon. Add evil. Killed his kin, got his wings ripped out by his mother and abandoned, just went full evil. Wore armor, wielded a sword and flail, learned magic. Even RPed out him summoning a Demon Lord, kicking its ass, using magic to turn the demon-lord into a heart, then cut himself open, ripped out his own heart, and shoved the demon-heart in as a replacement. Living Demon Lord 15' Ogre-thing/Dragon.
Third most powerful was Scotty. Started out as a lumberjack pugilist. Had some ass knock him out, and fuse part of an armor thingy to my dude that greatly enhanced his strength, and generated a serum that could make him stronger as necessary.....Armor of course eventually became "evil sentient" and he started going insane. Most fun was him having an arguement with himself inside an an abandoned castle....and having people tell me out of character that the way I was portraying him was creeping them the fuck out.
