Name: CASSI-1 "Cassie" (Computer Automated Strategic Soldiering Intelligence)
Gender: Female (I guess?)
Species: Human Android
Age: Appears 26, but is actually less than a year old
Sexuality: N/A
Faction: SSA
Appearance: Built to be perfect in all aspects, Cassie stands at 5'7, carrying a lean build. She does not look athletic, but the mechanics she is made up of give her superhuman strength and stamina, making her physically more capable than most physically superior humans. She has pale but fair skin, contrasting with her silky shoulder-length black hair. Her hair neatly frames her face, which often has a bright expression on it, due in no small part to her high, rosy cheeks and her hazel eyes. Her red lips have a perpetual smile, hinting at an air of superiority but also pleasantness at the same time. Cassie is almost always in military dress uniform, only changing into carbon fiber armor when entering battle.
On the back of her neck is tattooed "CASSI-1.1" in simple blue lettering, indicating that she is the first build of the first version of the CASSI model.
Bio: The initial programming for CASSI was created centuries ago specifically to serve as unintelligent tactical AI support for any combat situation. The AI succeeded immensely, seeing widespread use over the galaxy. The idea of an android based off of the AI improves on the concept of mech warfare by putting an intelligent AI behind the previously unintelligent mechs, greatly improving the efficiency of the mechanical soldier. The AI was only created for combat however, and saw no use outside of battle.
Fundamentally, CASSI is only a moral improvement on the combat AI mech: the developers sought to take the inhuman AI mech and create a sentient AI that could, essentially, be a human being. There were three main goals in the project: First and foremost, CASSI had to be able to learn and comprehend like a human could. If CASSI could not, it did not attain sentience, and the project would have been a failure. Second, CASSI had to feel human enough to people that they wouldn't be able to tell the difference. To do this, they incorporated the emulation of human emotion, and allowed for CASSI to develop a personality on its own according to its environment. Finally, CASSI had to maintain its value as a combat strategist while still learning of other things simultaneously.
All three goals were accomplished by the end of the project, and finally culminated in CASSI-1, or "Cassie," as she came to be affectionately called by all associated with the project. They had effectively created their own human being that could shape itself and grow as it willed. Cassie was requisitioned by the SSA immediately and taken in as a tactical support AI, as planned, but also doubles as an extremely capable supersoldier, often acting as a personal guard for VIPs.
Equipment: Built with wireless capabilities, Cassie can perform technological duties from her platform, like accessing a database or hacking into an enemy system. In terms of combat capability, Cassie is proficient in a variety of weaponry, though she has taken a liking to certain weapons.
For close combat, Cassie carries a small vibro-tech dagger tightly strapped to her waist for easy reach. She also has a cartridge handgun that remains on her body at almost all times for self-defense, though for more intense combat she has an all-purpose cartridge assault rifle.
