Post merging. And I don't mean like when you post twice in a row and it has that "last post at" message thing- I mean when a mod manually merges two posts. And a mod can merge two posts from anywhere in a thread, too. Just post a CS someplace and have them add it to another post, as apparently post merging lets you get past post restrictions. I've done it with the Hall of Fame thread in WOTM to get past the post character limit (because honestly, that post is huge), so I'd assume the same applies to other post limitations.

The problem is- I don't know if you'd be able to get mods doing that for you on a regular basis....

I'll go through the list tonight/tomorrow, and start going sorting out things, such as what characters are still in. Maybe putting a link to their image in place of appearance, instead of the picture itself.

I suppose we could just do that, yeah.

EDIT: Though, I believe some of the CS's character pics are gone on the original posts, thus they will have to edit in new links to their pics.

Exactly. That way when people make changes to their CS like that you won't have to continuously go back and edit the changes in.

...that doesn't really make sense....what is limiting the number of images in a post going to do to stop porn spammers?

A user was spamming hundreds of pornographic gifs per post, which caused multiple user's computers to crash. The image throttle can only be initiated forum wide. It's a temporary fix until a more sophisticated spam prevention system is installed.
