"Umm, okay. Lets get prepared then i guess" Reece speaks out loud. He opens the door with the key and proceeds to walk down the stairs with Alexandra following behind. "Does something seem weird to you?" He turns to Alexandra. "This whole thing I mean. For starters, whatever he is, we shouldn't be working with it. Clark". Reece turns back towards the equipment and guns in the room and begins collecting silver and salt. "And what the hell would be so important right now for Ronny to run upstairs and take his time?" Reece curiously asks.

Alexandra stayed quiet during his speech. "I'm not sure, though it's something." As she replied to his last question. She then saw a EMT meter and put it in her pocket when Reece wasn't looking.

Ronny walked up his staircase, and to the end of his hall. He was fighting back tears every step of the way. He pulled a keyring out of his pocket and opened his bedroom door. Upon entering, he spun around and locked it.

On his nightstand stood a picture of his wife with Molly as a newborn. Ronny reached down and opened the back of the frame. There lying on the back of the picture was a scrap of paper. Ronny took it out and unfolded it.

"My dearest husband. I have long known that I will be leaving you soon. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I couldn't. But by the time you will be reading this, I will have sacrificed myself to save our daughter. How do I know all these things? Well, I am a descendent of a group of oracles. In a way I was the one who caused all this turmoil for you, and the turmoil to come. For you see, I have an artifact that has been passed down through my family for sixteen generations. It is known as the Crimson Web.

It looks like those native american woven rings called dreamcatchers. However mine is special. It was endowed with the blood of an oracle in my family's tribe long ago. Our tribe had the ability to sense monstrosities, and one night my ancestor felt a strong presence. A presence unlike anything ever felt before. They called this being, "The Source," and ventured out to search for it. The source is a creature that has been asleep since the dawn of time. It is really not even sentient. It's merely a mass of energy. My ancestors were only able to find it's location by channeling their energy into a ring woven with the symbol of the never-ending. You would know this as the visual representation of infinity. They called the artifact The Crimson Web. They did not disturb The Source because doing such would upset the natural balance of the world.

Now if a creature could find The Source, it would gain immense power and our world would surely perish, and it just so happens that some of the more ancient creatures know the story of The Crimson Web and some even know of my relation to the Oracles! That is what will be the end of me. Now I'm sorry I couldn't tell you sooner, but I must selfishly make a request. You're the only one I know who could adequately protect the Crimson Web. I beg of you to protect this sacred relic! It is hidden in my room, in a safe, hidden behind a door that slides in my closet. Take the safe with you wherever you end up. And keep Molly safe!!! She is a part of my lineage and therefor has the ability to use the Crimson Web to locate The Source!!

Do not try to open this safe! I promise you it will open up when you need it to most. Since I know you are a little reckless and don't always like to listen to the advice of others, I have put a bomb inside the safe. As soon as you press the first key on the keypad a timer will start. You will have 10 mins to get the combination. Since I don't want you to explode, I gave you a little extra time to get away.

You will know that it's time to open this when the biggest problem of your life manifests itself.

Know that I always loved you, and I regret nothing except for not being able to tell you this all sooner.

Ronny folded up the paper which now had new wet spots on it from freshly fallen tears.

Ronny wiped his face off with his arm.

"Time to get to work." He said as he pulled a safe out from under his bed.

"God help me. If I don't get this open within 3 minutes of detonation we're all getting outta here."
Ronny pressed the first key. 9. A beep sounded and a digital countdown begun.
